    Pecan praline stuffed French toast

Still five stars. We stopped in again when we were up in Clemson for the weekend. The service was great and the food came out fast. My littlest enjoyed the Lego displays again too. Always a hit!

The eggs and fruit that come with the chicken and waffle. The fruit was fresh.

The service was lightning quick and very friendly. We both loved our meal, so much my husband ate the whole thing and I ate all my leftovers. The atmosphere was very farmhouse warm.

One of the best service we've ever had. The waiter was Amazing. We had a group of 6 and they seated us right away (we had a reservation). Brought waters right away. We ordered juices and they came immediately. I ordered the pancakes. My husband chicken breakfast which he said was one of the best he ever had. Two of us ordered omelets and one a breakfast sandwich, and another had a side of French toast. All was delicious. I would definitely make this a regular spot for breakfast.

This breakfast spot is walking distance/next door to the Inn at Patrick's Square. We had a wonderful dining experience. Crystal was the greatest server! It's definitely a busy place so recommend going on the earlier side. The food was beyond delicious. Great variety of food options. We enjoyed the stuffed French toast and custom omelette. Super filling and can't wait to eat here again!

The establishment feels a little clustered inside but nonetheless it feels homely on the inside. I've been two times and the waitress each time was nice and kept up refilling the drinks even with how busy it was. Now when she brought out the food on the surface it looks really good like if you were to look at it from a picture online. Then you start taking a couple bites of the hot cakes and wonder where is any of the flavor? You would think just put on some strawberries and the whipped cream it comes with but there is barely any of that on the plate. Not the best hotcakes I've had but certainly not the worst.

the food and atmosphere are amazing! Quaint but reminds me of really upscale eateries but with a down home feel.

We started with the haystack, some of the best french fries we've ever had covered by just about everything you can imagine, cheese, shredded meat, etc. It was one of the most amazing tasting appetizers we've ever enjoyed. We then went with the brisket platter with a couple of sides, all which tasted terrific. Our server AJ was a hard-working young man, splitting his time between bartending, oyster shucking, and serving our table in the dining room. He did an incredible job. We don't live in the Clemson area, but if we did we'd be at this restaurant quite often. With great food, friendly service, and affordable pricing this is truly a fun experience.

Server, Bryson, was very personable and helpful (e.g. let us know that the mashed potatoes were instant and not good). Chicken Picatta with asparagus was good. Prime Rib was good, not great, and not worth $48. We have worked in the restaurant industry for 25 years and are therefore pretty observant and experienced in what makes for a positive dining experience. P&B's is definitely missing the mark in a few areas. In our experience, the signs we saw point to older owners who are tired of the business and/or not as involved in daily operations as they were/should be. They are also "cost conscious" and value profit over diner's experience. We observed these things during our dining experience: 1) NO ice in the water glasses. Cost cutting? Or the ice maker needs repair? 2) No ice wouldn't have been too bad if the ac was set below 76. High humidity and higher temp made for a less than comfortable dining experience. 3) Ribeye steak was sliced incorrectly with one end about 1/4" thick and the other about 7/16 thick. This resulted in a well done end and a medium end, instead of a consistent medium rare steak. Flavor/Seasoning was minimal. Portion was small too, probably 8-9 ounce, with lots of fat cap. Grilled onions and mushrooms were overcooked and had little flavor. This was a $20 steak at best: certainly not a $40 steak. 4) Baked potatoes and veg came out warm, not hot, and were cold before we finished eating. This place is "resting on its laurels" and the owners are cutting costs and trying to make as much they can before they are forced to close or find someone who is willing to buy them out. While I am sure it had its day, its day is gone and it is in need of new menu and new management. 3 people. 2 beers. 3 meals. $145 plus tip. We have had far superior meals at the nearby Long Horn Steakhouse for about 1/2 the price. We would not recommend this location, unless it is sentimental to you. There are better restaurants in the area who actually care about their customers and the dining experience.

Our group of 8 was seated right inside the entrance of the restaurant and my back was to the lake side view. Therefore, I can only say I experienced a typical hotel bar restaurant vibe. Our server did a good job-even taking a minute to take a group photo for us. The brunch menu had a variety of choices. I chose the Renfrow Wings off of the Shareables Menu and a side salad. This consisted of 13 chicken wings so I had plenty of left overs. I ordered 1/2 teriyaki and 1/2 bbq. It was hard to distinguish between the two, but they were good. I need to go back and give this restaurant another try. This time I'll make sure to enjoy the view, maybe even sit outside on the patio if it's cool enough. I know this sounds strange, but I'm giving them a 4 star in anticipation of that lake view...
