This is one of my favorite breakfast places in the Clemson area. Their shrimp and grits bowl is my go-to dish. Maybe one day I'll venture out and get something different. But then again...that's the reason I come here. Today I did add the Peppermint Mocha (hot) which was yummy. Service is always good. It's usually crowded and a little loud but the turnover is not bad and you don't usually have to wait really long for a table. It's definitely a local favorite. Tucked in a little shopping center (Tillman) right off Old Greenville Hwy it's a great place to grab a delicious breakfast or enjoy brunch or lunch. read more

We had a great experience! We have a child with food allergies and this restaurant was very accommodating. Our waitress Danielle checked with the manager and the chef and they made my child's food separately from where it would normally be prepared. Great place for breakfast. The staff is great, caring, personable, efficient. What more could you ask for? Many of their wait staff are Clemson students, all are good... and there is surprisingly little turnover, which is something that just shouts out "great place to work". The crew seems to work well together. I was just in as the Clemson graduation crowd was dropping by for brunch. The place was abnormally crowded, but that had been anticipated and there were several extra people serving, cooking, etc. My wife and I were actually amazed as how smooth things were going even though they were serving at least twice as much food as on a normal day. The breakfast is simply excellent. The menu is surprisingly full of more breakfast items than you can think of. It's a clean and neat place. We drop in about twice a month for our "breakfast date"... Food was absolutely disgusting! took almost 2 hours for avocado toast and a burger . claimed the toast came with picante salsa but it was nothing more than congealed tostitos salsa . the eggs looked like whipped cream even the waitress apologized for it looking so bad. service was amazing tho. oh and there was also no ice! read more

For the price, absolutely not. Specialty pancakes should cost more than regular pancakes. $6 for two bland chicken tenders in old grease is wild. Ask before you order something extra without the menu. Even the hot coco tasted watered down. The sweet tea if overly super sweet so I had to get a cup of water to try and water it down. I used the whole cup and it was still sweet. I got the apple crisp pancakes and I loved them. I'm skeptical about the turkey sausage though, but the spices in it were really good. The chicken tenders and pancakes were basic and the chicken tenders were fried great, but had absolutely no flavor and clearly relied on the grease for flavor. The strawberry's and cream pancakes were also very basic and the custard didn't taste like anything. Our server obviously didn't want to be here so that was nice looking at her bored face at the beginning of the shift. I think she was mad we sat ourselves, but another staff told us to sit wherever we liked. I wish I could leave no stars. I haven't felt that way about a place in a LONG time. Even if the food isn't great you could at least make up for it with staff who can pretend to care. read more

It was very crowded due to Hurricane Helene and all the power outages in Clemson, but we were on the waitlist, and were seated within the estimated time frame. Pros: friendly, fast service; extensive menu; delicious specialty coffee and Boston crème donuts. Our meals were okay, but be advised the photos on the menu don't represent what arrives on your plate. The pumpkin cream pancakes weren't fluffy and cream filled as advertised. My grits arrived sans bacon bits, even though that's what was described on the menu. Given the unusual circumstances that day, I'd go back to try some other menu items. read more

Warning! Do not come on the weekends or you will not eat. My family and I arrived a little before noon and did not receive our food until an hour and a half later. Now the waitress did warn us the kitchen was backed up but significantly underestimated the problem. I'm not afraid to wait a bit for good food but when it came out I was extremely disappointed. My grits arrived cold, our omelets were sparse, and the toast soggy. To go orders kept flying out the door so we felt rather ignored and our waitress rarely checked in on us. Service was friendly- welcomed at the door and our server, Sam, was sweet. We ordered the Red, White and Blue waffles with bacon and the the Classic breakfast platter with sausages. I prefer my waffles crispy so this may just be a preference, but it was soggy. The bacon was crispy, however, I think it sat in the oil the entire time because when you bit into it all you could taste was grease. The classic came with home fries came out cold, over seasoned with what tasted like cumin-not great. The coffee...let me just say that an employees walked in with two cups from Starbucks. I knew we needed to try this place while in town visiting Clemson, it is always hopping. Definitely a hot spot for everything brunch in the weekend. Many different egg, sandwich and French toast options. Most came with choice of breakfast meat and potatoes too. I got the French toast platter with bacon and potatoes. Everything came out pretty well made and tasted good. Their cooks have some experience for sure. Would definitely go back for brunch, just be prepared to wait most likely as they are always slammed from 9a-1pm. read more

I understand it was parents weekend however waiting for 75 min to be seated and have to wait another 45 min for our food to be delivered is just insane (simple egg and waffle plates). To add to the frustration, our waitress visited our table exactly 2x in 45 min only after I had to go find her to refill our coffee. When doing so she didn't even refill our waters. My eggs once finally delivered were overcooked and cold. To be fair, the other two dishes served were very good. Will scratch this destination off our return visit lists. read more

We ordered two meals--one was the eggs Benedict, the other was a waffle with eggs and bacon. Unfortunately, the hollandaise on the eggs Benedict was split--it had clearly been overcooked and separated. The eggs were underdone, and the English muffin was soggy. The grits weren't great either. Everything. Literally everything was horrible. We got there and it took us 20 minutes just to order drinks. Once we got them we ordered an appetizer. Just the appetizer itself took an hour 1/2 to come out. Within that time she did not come to our table ONCE. the only time we saw her was when we placed the order. We had noticed that everyone around us had either not even ordered yet because their waitress didn't come see them or they were steady waiting for food for over an hour. We maybe saw waiters 3 times outside, WITH ALL THE TABELS FULL might I add, nobody was being helped and it overall was just horribly slow. Then we got our appetizer and it was very mediocre and she did apologize for the wait but not for her own absence. We already weren't pleased with anything. We had people around us asking if we had even been helped or if we were STILL waiting on food. And then about 30 minutes after that our actual food came out and it was very very mediocre. Nothing was good but the pancakes which you really can't mess up. If I had the names to the other servers around I would name drop but the one we had was Madyson. Though she did apologize she was just not doing a great job and by the end when we told her we lost our appetite and could hardly even eat ALL she took off our check was my like $4 coffee. Happy to find this cute breakfast/ brunch spot. Very clean, employees seem actually happy to be working here. We had the hash Benedict with potatoes and the Chicken club biscuit. Both delish! The potatoes are skin on reds and are seasoned well, not greasy at all. My eggs on the bene weren't runny but that's a small thing when the rest was so good. Wait for food was long took about 40 mins before we got our food. The drinks were delicious but the food was tasteless. I had the shrimp and grits bowl & the garlic bread on top had more flavor than this bowl. I tried adding butter, salt, and pepper. Tasteless! Only thing that was decent was the spicy sausage. Sunday morning 9:30 breakfast with little wait. So good. Just good. I got the homestead platter - tasted so fresh! Can't believe it comes with 4 strips of bacon, 4 sausage links (or patties if you choose!), 2 eggs AND a super delicious biscuit. Our server was really good (his name I think was Lee from Florida). The hostess was right at the door. Lots of team effort with the staff. Nothing tasted like it sat under a heat lamp. They have sugar free syrup if you ask. The pancakes looked really good. They also have muffins and smaller dishes if that's your style. I really felt like it was all made to order. By 9:45-10:00 there was a wait to get seated. A huge perk is that your credit card is processed right in front of you so you don't have to worry about anything. And you can choose if you get a receipt! The only really minor complaint I had is that I was never offered a refill on my soft drink. But that's not a big deal because I was offered a Togo refill. Again this is the best spot in Clemson for breakfast. Not greasy, made to order and friendly staff. Will be back anytime I'm in town. So so good!! read more
