We ordered the burrata for an appetizer and the toast points were so hard to chew. It felt like biting into a brick. Definitely was either over toasted or stale. The burrata itself was good though! The biggest disappointment of dinner though was the steak. When I first received it, it was still very bloody and cold in the center and still raw. The steak had to be sent back twice, so they cooked it 3x and it was still undercooked after the third attempt. At that point, I just accepted it and didn't eat the super raw spots. My husband had already basically finished his meal by the time it was brought out the third time. Considering our bill was $150, I expected higher quality food. I had really high hopes for this place but until they can improve their food, we probably won't be coming back here.

First they were out of the lunch specials 20 minutes into lunchtime. So we ordered off the menu: Turkey/dressing was cold and the gravy tastes like air. Ham/pineapple was chewy like it was microwaved and the pineapples were 4 tiny chunks from a can, seemingly added last minute and not cooked with the ham. The fried chicken didn't resemble any piece of chicken I have ever seen and was so over-fried it felt like pork rinds. The Mac and cheese tasted like the Stouffers frozen kind. The blackberry cobbler tasted like they accidentally used salt instead of sugar. Not a single item of anyone's food was good. And we are not picky eaters. I love a local, southern restaurant. This was shockingly bad. Also two separate people couldn't figure out the very basic task of changing the paper in a receipt machine and held my change hostage while they figured it out. I eventually just walked out without my change because I couldn't be in there anymore.

For a two top we had to wait an hour to get an appetizer that came out cold, then another 45 minutes to have the main course sent out. It came out cold and they forgot one of the two dishes entirely. We were then told the order for the second person would be out shortly and waited another 20 minutes, after which we asked for the check and left. The wait staff was terrible, the bar tender was on her phone and not checking on people at the bar or taking on the task of pouring a beer, for which I had to wait 25 minutes after ordering while she was on her phone. When the bartender was not on her phone she was making an attempt at flirting with another worker in the building. Overall, I would highly recommend going anywhere else nearby. The only positive aspect here would be the environment. It was decent and clean. So I would say if you are interested in going here you should only go for the $2.75 beers during happy hour. It was a big disappointment wanting an EGG sandwich and it's just a fake looking object that resembles an egg. Also, the quality of the sandwich was meh, for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich to barely have one piece of bacon total, that's a swing and a miss. It is sad when a chain such as Dunkin has a system for more consistency. We had also asked for butter but that went on deaf ears. The place is super cute in appearance and the staff was nice, but when it comes to food quality it does not hit the mark. Rather unfortunate.
