2 egg brunch
Lee B.

Brunch menu!!! We decided to stop by here today after church. I was very surprised to see a brunch menu. I opted for the 2 egg meal with 2 pancakes, 2 strips of bacon, 2 sausage patties and seasoned potatoes. The service here is always great and the place has a nice overall cozy / intimate setting. Will definitely try the Sunday brunch again.

Wedge Salad with grilled chicken

We had tried this place a couple of times several years ago. The meals were nothing to write home about and overpriced. Today we tried it to see if anything had changed. My husband had an edible cheeseburger and I got the half wedge salad with grilled chicken. It was brought out in a too small bowl that could not contain the chunks of lettuce core. The bacon was soggy and the chicken was way undercooked. The waitstaff is very friendly. Definitely our last try at this restaurant.

Lee was our very nice server today. Friendly and efficient. All our 8 meal orders were accurate and tasted delish!! It did take a long time to get our food coz the restaurant was very busy during lunch hour which is understandable. Great restaurant for lunch!!!

Bacon wrapped sirloin (medium), garlic mash and green beans

Service was attentive and super friendly. Gave recommendations that were on point. Casual atmosphere and food was delish. I've been here a few times but tonight was the absolute best with bacon wrapped sirloin cooked perfectly medium! Did I mention Tuesday night's special is half price bottles of wine? Win!!

Rotie By Stella's - Coffee with honey and cream

Rotie By Stella's

I have never been to Bridgeway Station, and wow, what a cute/fun area…read more The vibe and interior of Rotie did not disappoint. It is not a huge restaurant, but you aren't crowded either. My girlfriends and I went for girls night, and I loved how the place was packed with women. Such a cool idea. We got the rosemary beignets, and they were really good. Loved the butter that came with it too, and the parm. Very tasty. I had the half chicken, and it was maybe the best chicken I have ever had. Seriously, I know what I am ordering next time, and the time after, because it was so good. I didn't enjoy the sides as much. I had the pomme puree and the roasted vegetables. It's strange that the mashed potatoes were flavorless and mealy, and the veggies were meh. That said, the chicken was awesome, and I will come back for that alone.

Friday night we had a 5:45 reservation since that was what we could get on Open Table or a much later option. Turns out that this was a good choice because we got a nice 4 top for the two of us in a corner, so minimal "neighbors." Our order beat the kitchen rush. We saw the kitchen rush happen as the 6:00 reservations began to fill the restaurant. Service and hospitality was excellent. We continue to enjoy the evergreen, outdoor, theme brought indoors. We wanted to try some new things and have some familiar things. Our start was the chopped Caesar Salad, which has chopped fried anchovies as a unique way to include this into the salad as well as breadcrumbs rather than larger croutons (not grainy crumbs, but smaller than croutons) and this is quite sharable. Or, could be an entree with an added protein. We shared a steak tartare - classic and excellent, a Farmers board of meat, cheeses, jams, etc. and the full head of Roasted Cauliflower with a spiced yogurt sauce that was accompanied by our choices of fries and mixed steamed vegetables (green beans, asparagus, carrots). All of this was fantastic, with the star being the surprising roasted cauliflower dish. One glass of wine and that came to $119 ($150 with Christmas tip). The watch out here is two-fold. Most dishes are intentionally shareable by theme of the restaurant and the glass of wine is gonna run $15-$20 for an 8 ounce pour. So, we came back Sunday with one of our sons and his girlfriend to celebrate Christmas with her as this is a great gluten free restaurant and has become her favorite too. Sunday was less stellar, except for the service, which was on yeoman's duty and was outstanding, especially considering they were 7 staff down due to illness. We were greeted promptly for our 12:45 reservation and it took 5-7 minutes to get our table due to it being packed out and short staffed. Winds up that Anna, the manager, wound up waiting on us. I commend her for the good communication of her staffing predicament without making it a complaint or an excuse, because they delivered. We had our drink order and lunch order placed by 1:00 and drinks arrived at 1:07, shared Caesar arrived at 1:15 and meals at 1:33pm. I noted the time because they were doing a great job on managing the overall situation. We were out of there comfortably by 1:55, easy and well taken care of. My wife & son got the usual Reuben which is the current front runner in town. The girlfriend got an apple oriented salad without the praline pecans since they are not gluten free. Unfortunately, she did find three morsels of pecans, but they were avoided and due to the circumstances, we were not going to mention it - but here - just watch it if you are sensitive. I had the chicken and waffles with jam and maple syrup and the sunny side egg. This was only okay. I am quite sure what the chef intended and what I received were two different executions. The egg was perfection. The chicken was tasty, but not juicy and a bit tough (if Zaxby's is out executing here, there is a problem). The waffle was not tender at all and was almost too hard to cut with the provided butter knife, which then made the jam and syrup portion to be inadequate to overcome the waffle texture and flavor. With a fresher waffle, a bit more on the jam and syrup, this would have notched up, there is just a ratio thing there. I did have about half of the dish as carry home, but not sure if it will be eaten. I would not hold this against the restaurant though, just noting that a rush and short staff might have some unintended consequences. All in all, with a couple of brunch martini;s and a couple of bloody Mary's, the bill was $150 with tip $180 because it is Christmas and the staff and Anna did a banger job.

This was almost a disastrous experience, but the manager took care of everything wonderfully. I…read moreordered online and was given a total of around $77 for take away. I go to the restaurant early and used the restroom, then went to the takeaway counter to pay my bill (I chose "pay at restaurant" instead of paying immediately online). This is where things went bonkers. Apparently, if you order online but pay in person, they add an enormous amount of fees. Credit card fees, facility fees as well as mandatory 15% tip. Nothing against the worker, but I refuse to pay 15% tip for carry out food. I approached the manager to express my displeasure and concern. He tried to explain things, but it made absolutely zero sense. He said the machine/software they use automatically adds those fees when you order online but pay in person. I asked if I could cancel the order and go to the bar to order, and he said the fees would still apply. The ONLY solution, he said was to reorder online and pay online. What kind of sense does that make? Why is it more expensive to place a to-go order in person than online? Be that as it may, he canceled my order, and I resubmitted online without the fees. The fees brough my order to $92 (from $77, mind you). It is a complete disgrace and abomination how their system works, but the manager was very accommodating and corrected the issue. The food was really good as well. We got salmon and two chicken dishes and they were all great. The asparagus was horrid, but the other sides were quite tasty. Giving five stars for the customer service but would give ZERO stars for the online ordering experience. Do your due diligence!!!

Mediocre at best, and very pricey. (What the heck is the 6% "facility fee"??)…read more My wife and I both ordered 8 oz sirloins (at $26 each!). My wife's steak was half the thickness of mine, so of course mine came out way undercooked and I had to send it back. The meals came with only one side and we both had steamed vegetables which were barely warm. We had to spend another $5 each for a salad. My wife's garden salad was the best part of the meal; my Caesar salad didn't contain much good lettuce. No bread served with our meals. We're not big fans of the chain steakhouses, but honestly we usually get better meals at places like Texas Roadhouse (plus more food at much better prices). $70 for a lousy meal. We definitely do not recommend this place.
