We love the food here, the concept is great. The details are lacking. We rarely get good service and the bill is always more than expected. Today the host was less than friendly, our silverware was dirty, and we were severely overcharged. My child ordered egg and bacon breakfast with French toast and we were charged nearly $30 for his meal alone. Server announced after leaving the bill that it had to be rang in differently than just the $14 tri-fecta that was ordered. Upfront communication would have been welcomed in place of a nonchalant "sorry" after the fact. Short staffed was the reason given for slow service, although this was not the issue. We left without complaining, but this is my 4th attempt to enjoy a healthy menu and leaving a bit disgruntled. Please do better. Order online to-go to not get overcharged, it's the only way I'll consider entertaining First Watch in the future. read more

Best breakfast brunch in a long while! The spot is absolutely adorable and wait was worth it. The waiter had recommended the million dollar bacon and I was so glad he did as I didn't realize my bowl I had ordered was meatless. I've visited here several time Mrs and have never been disappointed. It is a smallish place with outdoor seating and is very inviting. The food is amazing (try the million dollar bacon) and portions are generous. They are open only for breakfast and brunch so close at 2pm. Servers are friendly and very attentive. They have some of the best coffee I've ever tried--speaking as a rare coffee drinker--so that's a must try. Go, you won't regret it! read more

We went here around 10:30 on a Sunday 2 weeks ago. We called ahead to get on the wait list. I definitely recommend doing this. We were a party of 6. The wait was about 10 minutes and seemed reasonable as they were very busy. Our server was great and checked in regularly. The food was good, we had several different dishes. The food was pretty good but nothing really stood out. I love breakfast and will always order it when I can. Everything was a solid B to B+ My granddaughter had blueberry pancakes that I didn't try but she said they were amazing. Ambiance was neat but, the food was horrific and bland. Had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The poached egg was visibly appalling and unmistakably undercooked leaving the white slimy and runny. Very little Hollandaise sauce was on the plate and it was broken and bland. The service was awkward by inquiring if each person in the party was sure they wanted the food as it appeared on the menu or not. Very strange experience and an insult to breakfast overall. Worst experience we have had here and we have been many times. They were obviously not prepared for the crowd they would be getting on Mother's Day weekend. If you are planning on going tomorrow (on Mother's Day), I would advise against it. The menu is very limited in an effort to help with the extra business. No grits!!! (probably the easiest thing to prepare). Sadly, our food arrived cold for the most part. We ordered 2 of the lemon blueberry cornbreads and both were so cold that butter never melted on them. Just shared a Double Bacon Parmesan Hash with husband. Added a toast and one carrot pancake. As usual it was delicious. Serving was huge there was enough to take some home. We always buy a bag of coffee, too. Our server, L, made sure we got the style egg we wanted. Poached was perfect on top of the hash. Prices are good. I have been there 3 times in the past few weeks. Work party and then took my husband and then he wanted to go again. The food was ok. He liked his. I had the avocado toast. They need to improve the quality of the avocados. The avocados were mostly brown! Not good. The service was always great! It's a nice quiet place to enjoy a meal. read more

While we went on a Sunday, waiting for 55 minutes is beyond too long. They told us the wait would be 30-40 minutes. Meanwhile, there were multiple tables that needed cleared with one person trying to clear them all at the same time which wasn't efficient at all. The table they eventually sat us at was empty for quite some time, we just had to wait on them to clear it. We even spoke to the Manager and he never once apologized or came over to our table to see how we were doing once we were finally seated. The food was pretty good...average breakfast food. First Watch has been a great chain for breakfast and we've enjoyed visiting several locations. We were very excited to have one so close to our home. Our first visit today was excellent and it will become a favorite of ours. The food was outstanding Dave (our server) was knowledgeable and attentive. The redesigned building (former Open Hearth) received an incredible makeover and looks awesome. We met with the owner (Keith) who has brought this location to life. He was gracious and shared the efforts involved in how this all came together. Our meal was great and we ordered extra to have a meal to take home.
