Perfect eggs. The rest... not so much.

Thought I'd finally give this place a try, thinking "how can you screw up breakfast"? Hmmm..... how indeed. I'm admittedly kind of a chicken fried steak snob. I've tried them all over the country, from great to ghastly. I decided to work without a net and just order the chicken fried steak and eggs without asking if it was frozen or not. Lesson learned. I'll never understand why restaurants feel the need to be so lazy by serving frozen anything, let alone something as easy as this. AND have the nerve to charge $19 for it. Pitiful bordering on criminal. The 'steak' was embarrassingly small, the biscuit on the side was flat and blah, and the sausage gravy was just so-so. Eggs were good (thank you chickens). I really wanted to like this place, but it was bad enough that I didn't even bother finishing because of the lack of flavor and freshness. Very sad. UPDATE: It's now late afternoon and I've been in and out of the bathroom all day since eating here. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Great experience! My daughter was thrilled that they had a fun pancake. As I have said before, it's hard to mess up breakfast, it's the easiest meal and Sunny did it right

Nice spot for breakfast or lunch! Good pricing and was able to accommodate our larger party. Server was very friendly and managed to keep up with everyone's orders when we all got there at different times. A few others helped run food and they were all speedy and efficient! Standard breakfast diner ambiance and feel. I for the banana chocolate chip pancakes and they were delicious! The breakfast sausage links were also really good

Food is always good has a homemade/hometown feel to it, food is always hits honestly we only come like once a month but food is always honestly great..just today there were to many young ladies had there hair down, for me food and hair is not always a good concept, I don't want food in my hair, I seen the young man wearing a hair net well serving food.. but then have some of your girls with longer hair just left upkeep and need to be bushed out, sorry that's my biggest pet peeve, I feel like servers have to look presentable and not look like they just got out of bed, came in for the biscuit because that's what I was craving.. highly recommend with our without the gravy...

I'm here for spring training baseball games and one of the men in our group suggested we come here from breakfast before heading out to a game and the two of us did. The restaurant about a 1/2 mile from our hotel so walked here. I ordered a chocolate chip and banana pancake that was absolutely delicious, maybe the best I've ever had. Bella, our server, could not have been nicer. She has a great sense of humor, was helpful in answering any questions and came back a couple times during our meal to see if we needed more tea, water or anything else. The restaurant is on University Dr. not far from ASU so an easy walk from the college. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area for breakfast or lunch.

I highly recommend the Country Breakfast. And the NewMexico omelette. The service is very chipper. The ambience makes you feel like family.

This is a very clean restaurant and I have never had a bad meal. Improvements, A smaller menu will help. And a reduced portion size for seniors. Service was great, attentive but not annoying

5 star service, 3.5 star food. I liked the home fries -- much closer to potato than fried, which I like. Plenty of food but not too memorable.

Favorite breakfast diner in the area! Reasonable prices, large portions of fresh food and friendly service. Our serve Bella was so sweet and welcoming, and the girl who checked us out at the end was so kind. Even the man who dropped our food off was so pleasant and made sure everything was okay! Plenty of seating and parking. We got the farmer skillet and it was delicious and the country friend steak. We had coffee and enjoyed the AC on a hot day.

Good was amazing! I definitely love the fact that there's different options to choose from. The service was great. When came in, the waiter helped us to the table and ask if I wanted any drinks besides water. The waiter also gave me extra time when I couldn't decide any thing. I would say, because this place is completely out of my well known area, I do love the environment. Similar to an IHOP or Denny's, which gave me comfort. I really enjoyed my time at Sunny's Diner.

Tried this local place not far from my home on a Sunday for brunch and it was overall great! Tastes better than any other brunch place and is fairly affordable! The service was great and I loved to see the effort all the workers put in to make sure we have everything we need to enjoy this meal. I also liked the idea that you don't have to get a full portion of pancakes you can only order one. Will be back for breakfast soon!

Over priced for what you get. Their "home fries" is just a bland smashed up baked potato with no seasoning. I doubt I'd eat here again.

I did have a few but my favorite was the floor is lava, while my wife enjoyed a classic margarita. They also have a really nice kids menu and some great appetizers, so it worked perfectly for our family. Our waiter, Elias, was very nice and told us that Eureka was known for their burgers. Well, he was right! The burger was excellent and those truffle fries with the fresh grated cheese on top were absolutely delicious. You can have your burger cooked to whichever style you like, I like medium myself. I would order both again without hesitation. The service was another highlight. The manager even came out to help bring our food, and you could tell everyone was working together. The entire staff seemed to be in sync, which was really nice to see. This was easily one of my favorite places we visited while in the area. Great food, great cocktails, great atmosphere and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely come back. All I have to say is... Eureka!!

It feels suspiciously like a trick. Like maybe you round that corner and three guys steal your wallet. But trust the process... because apparently this little side quest unlocks some fantastic food. Everything we had was delicious. Even the freaking carrots were good. CARROTS. Crunchy, flavorful, properly cooked carrots that somehow had me voluntarily reaching for more vegetables instead of just tolerating them until the meat arrived. Speaking of meat... I got the bison meatloaf, and it was fantastic. Eating it made me feel like I'd wandered into a scene from Dances with Wolves. One minute I'm majestically riding across the plains alongside the buffalo, feeling connected to nature and contemplating man's relationship with the wilderness... the next minute I'm putting the buffalo in my mouth. Circle of life. My wife's salmon was excellent. My kid's steak was cooked perfectly. My sister got the chicken and liked it enough to take the leftovers home, which is really the ultimate restaurant compliment. Plenty of food tastes good at the table. Food that earns valuable refrigerator real estate has accomplished something. But the absolute star for me was the Old Fashioned. Perfectly made... and sitting there with a proper giant ROUND scube. Immediate bonus points. If you're serving an Old Fashioned over a bunch of sad little refrigerator cubes, we've already started our relationship on shaky ground. Oliver's understood the assignment. I ordered another. Then perhaps another. History gets slightly fuzzy, which is generally a sign that the Old Fashioneds were doing excellent work. The staff was also fantastic and happily made a few adjustments to menu items for our group without making it feel like we'd requested amendments to the Constitution. Great food, excellent drinks, accommodating staff, and vegetables somehow worth mentioning in a Yelp review. Highly recommend. Just remember... when the front door sends you around the corner, don't panic. You've been chosen for the quest.

The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one. When visiting the Chuck Box know that it is cash only (ATM on-site), and super popular. There WILL be a line. The line does move extremely fast, due to the fact that the line cooks are definitely not waiting until you get to the counter to take your order. They will call out to anyone in line (regardless of where in line you are) and take your order, yelling it out if needed. It is such a unique and fun experience. The burgers are not overpriced and are phenomenal! It is self serve toppings, after you pay for your order you can go to the topping bar and add as much to your burger as your heart desires. Two of my tomatoes had active mold growing on them. It was too dark inside to see it but we ate in the car and saw the moldy spot then. The fries are good but way too salty. We really liked the fried mushrooms. But we made our own dipping sauce which was better than the ranch they give you: mix 2/3 mustard and 1/3 Mayo. Tangy and delicious. We get these at "The Windmill" when we go to the jersey shore and the sauce that comes with the fried mushrooms is a horseradish sauce which is amazing (hint hint, Chuck Box). I would eat here again but bring a flashlight to inspect the produce and lower my expectations. It was good, not great. It smelled kind of off in here also. While I can certainly understand the convenience for hotel guests, I would recommend managing expectations if you are visiting specifically for the dining experience. We started with the Chili Chilies, which I was especially excited to try because it's a personal favorite. Unfortunately, the eggs arrived burnt rather than over-easy, sitting on what we could only describe as Mexican masa--almost like an attempt at corn chips. Next came the Hash, but unfortunately, it also seemed to have spent far too long under the heating lamp. By that point, I decided the safest choice for my breakfast experience was simply going to be the poached eggs. I do want to be fair and say that every restaurant can have an off morning, and perhaps this was simply ours. However, between the food being overcooked or seemingly held under the heat lamp too long, the meal just didn't leave the impression we had hoped for. One other thing worth knowing if you're visiting: parking is a challenge. The nearby garages appeared to be reserved for valet parking, leaving us to park about a block away to avoid any possibility of being towed. Overall, I'd probably keep this one primarily on the radar for Omni hotel guests looking for convenience, rather than making it a destination breakfast. Hopefully, our experience was an exception, because the concept certainly has potential.
