We stopped by on Saturday around 6 PM and the manager was so kind to help us put a larger table together. We only waited about 10 minutes. Our server was so sweet. I don't remember her name, but she was extremely knowledgeable about all the cocktails -- and there are many. It's one thing to memorize the ingredients, but quite another to understand flavor, profiles, textures, substitutions, etc. she really knows her stuff and was great at making recommendations. We tried a number of different cocktails, including the Headhunter, Xanadu, London press, lemon ginger NA, and poco loco. Personally, I had the headhunter and Poco Loco. The headhunter was yummy, but not special enough to order again. The Poco Loco, however, was unique and delicious with the habanero infusion so present and the foamy top giving it a melt in your mouth texture. It's pretty warm in there as they have no AC and no fans to circulate the air and it is still summer, plus drinking makes you hotter, so we were a little sweaty, but This is of course, a very temporary feeling as the area does not stay this hot for long. These things tasted like Jackie Chan kicked a bag of Fritos in the face, sprinkled fairy dust and unicorn horns on it, and then put it on a plate for me. It came two to an order and I think I could've eaten 77. Unbelievably delicious. So I'm thinking, maybe this is gonna go OK. Then we shared a toro smash burger and a squid ink pasta. The burger had to be the best burger I have ever eaten in my life and, y'all, I eat a lot of burgers. I am a burger aficionado. I'm one of those crazy people that drives across the country to eat at top-rated burger joints. Anyway, that burger truly has ruined burgers for me (I promptly told all my young'ns that I've got to take them to eat the best burger I've ever eaten- pronto). And the squid ink pasta, wow. It had so much going on that I felt like it was the equivalent of leopard print and pearls. I have no idea how this is all working together, but somehow it's magic. I think what kind of set our decision to probably not return is the fact that a table near us had asked the server something (we aren't exactly sure what) and she took their dish back and then proceeded to talk crap about them in the server/kitchen area. My husband said the table didn't hear her but I don't know how they didn't as she was talking very loudly about how "my tables are so annoying today! The things people ask for are crazy" (etc) and it made me really uncomfortable. I used to be a server and can understand frustrations with customers but it was unprofessional to talk crap about them when other customers can hear.

Holy smokes best breakfast I have ever had! Their version of avocado toast was delightful! The homemade bread they used on the tartine was so good I had to buy a loaf for later! My friend ordered the housmade granola with fruit and everything was so fresh. The service was also wonderful! You can tell those girls work hard and enjoy where they work. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a hearty healthy breakfast! Can't wait to try their supper. read more

My family visited this cute establishment on Sunday. It was super busy, which is always a good sign. We all found something we loved on the menu. I adored the salmon tartine, my dad loved the huevos in Texas and my nephews ate every bite of the peanut butter banana dish. My only complaint is that the sunflower set the bar so high for the rest of the restaurants in town. I am sure to be back to try the lavender mimosa when I'm not with my family! read more

Then having super slow service, being served the wrong items multiple times and then the owner charging us for food he placed on our table that we didn't order. A woman I met on the plane from Denver told me this was one of her two favorite places in town, so naturally I had to find it. As I was walking over, a complete stranger struck up a conversation, and being friendly, I chatted with him along the way. Before I knew it he was telling me he wanted to come eat with me, and I could not get my "No" out fast enough. I quickly realized he was under the influence, dealing with a mental health issue, or both and I wasn't sure how to free myself from him. I didn't even know his name. Once we sat down, I excused myself to the bathroom so I could tell the staff I had no idea who he was, or whether he intended to pay or expected me to. I'm not writing this to demonize the poor man, who at the end of the day was clearly pulling on some unconscious compassion. I'm writing it to thank the staff. Everyone was so kind, asking if I was okay, assuring me they'd split the check, and I think one of them even offered to walk me out the back if I wanted an escape route. We made it through dinner, he paid for himself, and I figured out how to shake him loose afterward. I'm so grateful for all the checking in you did throughout the evening, and for helping me not overreact. I'd wanted an app, a salad, a dessert. I also needed to get out of there. The bread was super yum, the Bolognese was decadent, and the Tuscan Chardonnay was gorgeous. I'll recommend this place to everyone. Sorry for bringing drama into your establishment. I'm sure a Michelin-adjacent restaurant doesn't need that on a Sunday. Thanks again for the great food and the great, above-and-beyond service.
