I had the breakfast sausage and egg muffin sandwich. Actually I had 2. They were outstanding. I loved how you could dictate how you want your egg cooked. I got mine over medium and got a beautiful egg yolk River when I took the first bite. Their hot salsa compliments the sandwich quite well. The coffee is outstanding and was served with lots of pride and smiles. I highly recommend eating here and I will definitely be back. read more

Was craving seafood but didn't want fried fish tacos. Decided to go to the mall & there was this new gem! I've had their drinks before at the 626 night market and they are a 10/10. There was a specific employee that was so enthusiastic and honestly it made the experience of ordering from them even better. She had square gold earrings that dangled a bit. She seemed so genuine about giving drink samples. Give her employee of the month! The fried fish was soooo good!!! Didn't know lime and tilapia was so good together. 10/10 on that dish! The shrimp fajitas was good but it's not something I'll order again. I'd probably give it a 9/10 just because I wanted more sauce on my plate. The flavor was only marinated on the shrimp. read more

My best beef taco of all time. The red salsa is so good. Love the beef, love the tortilla, love the juice. I love it so much.

Went to the 626 market and saw lots of people had cute light up teddy bear bottles, so we decided to get one. Hefty price tag of $25 but we just bit the bullet and got one each anyway. My cousin's light up didn't work, but she didn't care much for it so we didn't go back to return it. But The straw for mines was defective, so we went back and asked if we can get a replacement straw, they said yes, we were estatic, she told me to throw away the straw, so I did, came back to find out she gives me a one time use straw. I thought they made a mistake??? Asked another person, he said that is the replacement straw........ For $25 each and both our bottles to be defective/missing something and not willing to offer an actual replacement. My cousin and I were flabbergasted. The drinks were really good, but before you leave with your drink, make sure your product is not defective! It's really not that serious looking back at it, but at the moment I was pretty upset read more

Omg these are the absolute best tacos I've had in my 20 years of living in Cali. I am a Mexican food enthusiast and these had plenty of flavor and the meat was moist. Considering it to be mall food this was absolutely top tier. I think I'd even make the drive from Santa Clarita to eat these. Anyway- worth the try will definitely come back for more!! read more

Ordered chicken steak fries and they were delicious!!! FYI: they serve large portions. read more

Surprisingly solid breakfast burrito for a place at a mall food court. They make one of the best I've had in the LA area. Definitely worth stopping by for brekkie if you're at the Arcadia Mall in the morning. Friendly service too! read more

My family and I were deciding what to eat in the food court and chose this place because of the variety. What a win! The bacon wrapped hot dogs are legit and the tacos/burritos are ridiculous good. Especially considering the venue. The unsung hero is the potato swirl. SOOO GOOD! And the customer service is spot on. The aguas frescas taste like they're made properly and not from a powder. Highly recommend this spot. Can't wait to try the ice cream! read more

My favorite thing to get here is the fried fish plate. I believe it's a tilapia fish and it comes with a dry seasoning. For me, it's perfect as I prefer salty foods and it codes your choice of white or Mexican rice, a side, which can be Vegetables, salad, or french fries. French fries have always been crunchy and hot, vegetables were quite nice too on healthier days. I wanted to eat healthier. Salad is salad, nothing bad to say. They include red salsa which is quite spicy for the average person. If you want green salsa they will have to charge you extra. Their fajitas were OK, a little thin and dry for the beef, at least. I wasn't expecting miracles, considering this is a kiosk inside of a mall. I would order it again. Breakfast burritos were fine as well, don't expect mind blowing but it was good enough considering it's only $10. You have your choice of tater tots, or Spanish rice for the filling inside which is nice. They have a lot of drinks you can sample which are quite good but note: they will be on the sweet side. Same goes for their coffee. read more

Great service!! The people that are working over there are very friendly and really approachable!! I honestly love all of the different kinds of flavors that they have for their agua fresca drinks!!! They're all so good and refreshing!! I definitely will come back to buy more of the different flavors for their agua fresca drinks again when I get the chance next time! Thank you all so much for everything!! Five stars is exactly my total rating!!! read more

I ordered a medium sized baby bottle beverage and when I went back in line to get a refill, they refused stating that I did not have a refill card when in fact they never gave me one during the transaction. So I went to the manager and eventually they did not honor their service. Terrible serivice, do not go here. This happened at Monterey park cherry blossom festival. P.S Please clarify next time to customers that the refill is for only one time. read more

I can't say enough great things about this place! The food is fresh and every plate is made to order. So super delicious! There isn't anything that I wouldn't recommend trying . . . everything is made with love! The agua frescas are amazing and they offer such a large variety of flavors. Ask for a taster, if you can't decide! We contracted Sunday Cafe to do a catering for us. They have a very nice taco package. It includes tacos and all the fixings and one flavor of agua fresca. Such a great deal. We worked with Ruby. She is amazing. She thinks of all the details and double checks everything to make sure we get exactly what we needed. We ordered: -Beef Soft Tacos -Chicken Soft Tacos -Nachos -French Fries -Mini Quesadillas -Fresh Fruit Cups -Agua Frescas: Spinach and Pineapple, Cantaloupe, Watermelon, Strawberries and Cream and Lemonade Blueberry If you need an event catered, contact Ruby at Sunday Cafe. She is a great partner that cares about your event and your satisfaction. She and her fiancée run a great locally owned business! read more

Still a five but WOW the workers shout non-stop! Whether it's calling out orders to the cashier or order numbers when food/drinks are ready for pick up or to offer free samples. Will still buy from them but won't choose to sit anywhere near this place because of the shouting. read more

Sundays Cafe is a great addition to Santa Anita Mall. Despite all the great bobas you could at the mall, an agua frescas is a change & is very refreshing. There are a wide range of drinks you could choose from. Watermelon, mango, and the horchata is our family favorite. read more

There's a reason why this is in the beginning of the food court. I love the drinks because they're so delicious and refreshing. Ruby and Chloe are super friendly. Love the energy that them and the staff provide. They have a huge array of flavors that you can mix and match. I say get a drink and walk around the mall and get it at the Sunday Cafe. read more

This was recommended to me by the good old yelp notification that popped up on my phone. I remember seeing this place in one of those food fairs like 626 night market. The pictures and reviews seemed pretty good and it was a Sunday so I figured I had to go. Like all weekends at the mall, it is packed. So be prepared to wait a bit in line. The staff were very friendly and offered free samples of their Aqua Fresca so it wasn't too bad of a wait. I was craving a steak so I ordered the steak plate along with a cucumber lime aqua fresca. The steak plate was a bit disappointing with it being too salty and dry. It was almost like eating jerky. Since you're eating at the food court, be prepared to cut that with a plastic knife. I found my premolars to be the better barbaric choice to get the food in my stomach. The drink was the redeeming factor of this place. They have a plethora of choice from strawberry milk to watermelon to mango so it will pretty much satisfy your thirst on a hot summer day. The serve their drinks usually in a baby bottle but I got a regular plastic cup. But that didn't deter me from enjoying it. The cucumber lime was equally refreshing and inviting. Inviting because the right amount of citrus from the lime makes you want to go back for a 2nd sip. It is not overly sweet which gives it a good balance; not like some other places that want to just give you diabetes) All in all, for sure get the drinks and maybe food somewhere else. I might give them another go someday since it's still relatively new and maybe the food quality was just a one time thing. read more

So fire!!! All their drinks are so refreshing and made with real fruit. No artificial taste at all. I mixed the watermelon, passion fruit, and pineapple for my drink with a side of steak fries. Just opened and best customer service especially since I was able to sample the drinks before buying. Would recommend for everyone to come try it. 10/10 best spot in the mall! read more

Great Staff (super helpful, polite and positive) and lots of items to choose from in their menu. The options available for their aguas frescas are great; although I do wish they had an agua fresca option with spinach (sounds crazy but it's a really good legit agua fresca option). The agua frescas were bit on the pricier side but they do have to pay mall booth space, so makes sense. Taking one star off because their menu was bit hard for me to figure out at first glance; again, lots of stuff to choose from and not following a particular cuisine; they seemed to have a mix of American, Asian and Mexican food; a SoCalifornian menu of sorts. Food was good. I tried their shrimp fajita plate and was very pleasantly surprised! Super fresh, cooked and seasoned well, and they included a Chile toreado which is always a big plus in my book! They were also very accommodating with my request to add a slice of lemon. The aguas frescas were slightly on the sweet side for me but very good! I love that they had options outside of the standards you normally see (Tamarind, Jamaica/Hibiscus, Horchata). Lots of cool fruit options like Melon, Lemon/cucumber/chia, passion fruit, etc. read more

Don't let this place fool you. The food here is love. Came here with my better half on a date night at the movies. My better half had the three tacos and I had the egg stir fry with Mexican rice and salad. All food was freshly cooked to order. The tacos were surprisingly delicious. Meat was cooked and seasoned well. Salsa on point. Now, the egg stir fry with Mexican rice and salad. It tasted like what my grandma would make for us for breakfast. I haven't tasted egg stir fry like this since she passed away. It's been awhile. Whatever seasonings the young lady who made our food that night put in those eggs... it's magical! It's love. To Sunday Cafe and the young lady who made our food... THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! read more

I ordered the beef fajitas with Mexican rice and broccoli as my sides, it was delicious! Even though the Mexican rice is far from being Mexican, just top with some of the of the supplied salsa and Bam now you have Mexican rice. The fajitas are well seasoned with plenty of veggies and the beef was very tender. Would I order this again? Hell yes! The young man who took my order was very pleasant and nice and took it on the chin when I scolded him for not having beans as a side dish, lol. It's nice eating in the food court during the middle of the week, plenty of seating, tables are clean and it's not too loud. Eagerly returning soon. read more

I was not expecting the Grilled fish to be that good... I was blown away. You don't expect to go to the mall and find 5 star restaurants but the cook here is definitely a 5 star Michelin chef. She was working her behind off getting orders out super fast and my grilled fish plate was phenomenal. If she wasn't so busy I would've stopped her to tell her how good it was. Westfield Santa Anita is our chill spot and I am definitely coming back every time! read more

I have been waiting for over an hour for my 3 pork baos and this is just absolutely unacceptable. and also they charge $20 for a drink.

I don't know if anyone had this happen to them The price of the breakfast burritos is $7.95, but when I paid, I bought two of them and the total came out to $17.90; which indicates it at $8.95 each. I don't know if the price increased due to inflation, but the menus clearly shows it at $7.95. I added no tip. I reviewed my receipt again thinking they must have added an extra charge to my bill as I used my debit card; however, that wasn't the case. There was no indicator if I was going to be charged for paying with card. I didn't bother to ask nor wanted to cause a commotion about it as it was only a $1 difference, but certainly made me question this place ethical procedure. While the burritos came out tasty and piping hot, it is a bit fishy, so one star drop from my review. read more

Girl at the counter was rude as fuck to me. Stayed giving me a stank face. If your not open just say that, no need to be so argumentative.

Friendly service at this place. They serve the most delicious food to order on their menu: egg muffin with sausage/egg/cheese sandwich, french toast plate with eggs and fresh sliced fruit, breakfast plate with sausage eggs and buttered toast, taco trio plate, a few burritos, chicken plate, potato swirls etc....all food ordered is freshly made (you can sometimes see/watch them cook your food) so the wait is well worth it. And they are the only ones open in the food court before the other restaurants in the food court opens at 11:00 AM. If you sign up with their app (Sunday Cafe), you get points and freebies! read more

Awesome food , wonderful hosts for any kind of event . Church family setting.. but that fish is seasoned to perfection!

I have never received bad service or bad food here! Tucked in the corner of the food court, this little cafe is a diamond in the rough! Great prices, options, and customer service! Review for their stand at the Tet Festival. Waited in line for 20 minutes as the dude took orders from everyone in front of me. When it got to me, he insisted that I needed to go to a different line, even though I was trying to order the same thing as the guy in front of me. He was super insistent he hadn't taken orders from anyone else, even as he's literally holding the ticket from the last guy. Real rude and off-putting. I'm not saying it was a race thing for sure, but I'll just say my skin isn't the same color as the folks whose orders got taken. So if you don't look like their preferred customers, you may or may not get served. read more

This is probably the last time coming to this place for their food or services. The worker forgot if they given me our drinks and have to ask if I gotten my drinks yet, so I thought if she was going to give me the one that was on her hand then I would be missing one other drink. She threw it away while I was trying to stop her but she told me that's why she asked me; like if it, my fault. Then while I was waiting for my steak nachos. I ordered it without sour cream and realized that she done making it but added sour cream, so she take it to the back door area to scrap off the sour cream and throw most of my steak away and came to the register area and act if I didn't realized it. Put it in a bag and handed it to me. I opened it at the food court area and realized that she couldn't scrap all the sour cream off so I eat it as it's. I wasn't going back and take my food back to them because I don't know what else they going to do with my food since they couldn't be honest with me and let me know if they made an error in the first place. I just wanted everyone to know about this place and that, they going to loose my business here. By the way, for $25.19, they couldn't even gave me a full cup of sauce. read more

Burrito is small for its price. The recent price increase does not make it any better. Chipotle has a larger tortilla and can stack more ingredients. Although I like your taste it's not enough for me to tilt in your favor. I did try several times and this time ingredients got even less. I cant deal with the one time miss. I wonder if ordering two burritos makes this time a missed expectation. read more

Fantastic service and superb food! Get the strawberry milk as it's the best of the Agua frescas! Ask for ruby as she's friendly!

Just a slight edit: went back to the LA Fair and this actually is the same place that serves agua frescas at the event (possibly for larger events/fairs as well). I don't know if the prices are marked up if you buy it at the fair (I didn't want to find out) so we just ended our day and picked up drinks here instead. read more
