What a great place we stumbled upon! Came for lunch at a store nearby, and these Donuts caught our eye for dessert. I got the Biscoff Donut, and boy! Oh Boy! Best Korean hot dog I've had so far. Parking here is very limited, but my kids love it here, so I try to come when it's not lunch time. Staff here is very friendly and I like that they give different type of sauces. I haven't had the donuts yet, but it does look tasty. read more

I came here in the evening during the summertime, and I applaud the nice and cold air conditioning. I asked the nice young lady at the register what she recommended, and she recommended half mozzarella cheese and half hot dog potato dog, as it was my first time. It was delicious and pretty affordable. The mochi donuts looked good but I didn't have any this time. They seemed kind of pricey. I think this is the only place in Arcadia that serves these delightfully bouncy mochi donuts! They usually have a rotating menu of seasonal flavors, as well as some classics. They are also popular for the drinks and Korean corn dogs! The cashiers are super friendly, and very informative when it came to which flavors were delicious! I stopped by for a Yelp elite experience item to get my free mochi doughnut, but decided to try the Dubai chocolate smoothie as well. The drink itself was pretty pricey (~$9) but I enjoy the pistachio flavor. They also have a strawberry variation of this, but I opted for the original. It gets sweeter as the smoothie melts, and was pretty filling by the end of it. I also ended up getting more mochi donuts. My favorite was the maple flavor and pistachio flavor donuts. Overall, this place offers a sweet little pick-me-up, if you're ever craving mochi donut or pistachio flavored drink in the area. read more

I have been here before this last time & have loved it before. The guy who took my order was so nice & great! But I ordered a mozzarella corn dog with potato's on it which is my go to here, he added the sugar. I went along my happy way & when I went to eat it, it wasn't cooked all the way thru. So it was a mix between uncooked / ooey gooey/ mush inside like the batter of the corn dog. But then the end the mozzarella wasn't even fully melty. It was so unpleasant. I couldn't even eat it. I didn't wanna risk getting sick! I will let him know next time I go in since I usually like this place. Hopefully this doesn't happen again :( read more

Note that their prices are a little higher than regular soft serve spots, but I'm happy to support them as they pour back into their community. I have been going to Moo Moo Mia for a while now and it has been one of my favorite delights when it comes to craft ice cream. They offer monthly flavors along with some more original staples and lets be honest, with summer looming, knowing a great ice cream spot is always a must. There are monthly flavors so I recommend swinging by early in the month to check out what great flavors they have cooked up. At the time of my visit, I was hooked on the Strawberry Koldski which was inspired by the Danish roots and a mix of sweet and tart Strawberry. I got a double and I simply wanted more. My go to, is the Oreo and Cream which is one of the best Cookies and Cream variants I have ever had. Everyone is super nice and you can have tastings of the different flavors until you land on one. Trust me, some flavors hit on different days! The shop is in the famous Monrovia shopping area, which adds to the allure of visiting. Parking is free and sitting and having a cup of ice cream in one of the benches is such a treat. Swing by and chill and enjoy some great ice cream! Cheers!

The streets are fairly quiet. So it's peaceful. Overall a great place to treat your loved ones. They can also be found at the LA County Fair in May. I tried the Dubai Chocolate bar at the Fair. It was my first Dubai Chocolate experience. I don't know what all the fuss is about. Overpriced fad if you want my opinion.

When the order was complete the cups with lids were shoved out the window at us with one falling on the ground with no concern. We asked for a bag after the cup dropped and the server seemed annoyed. No second thought for the cup that they dropped on the ground. All ordered were 1 scoop and 1 topping and definitely different serving sizes of the ice cream.

Some still in their original bulk packages. They have a wide selection of ice cream and paletas (popsicles). There were specific flavors such as snickers, Mexican hot chocolate, KitKat, and I saw an alcoholic one. A scoop of ice cream is 4.99$ and the pops I le is around 2$. The menu pricing was a bit cut off or blacked out on the end (see photos). There was only one staff helping us at the time. So we had to wait a bit but overall they have so much more than just candy and deserts. They have drinks, snacks, and sandwiches (jam only currently). Overall, it's just like any other michoacana stores. It was colorful, bright, clean, and has so much to select. The restroom was locked with a keypad but I didn't need to go so I didn't ask.

The woodwork, the hanging wooden plaques, the Japanese-inspired décor, the trees throughout the restaurant, the lighting, and especially the little honeycomb-style booths built into the walls. It almost feels like you've stepped into this little Japanese village rather than just another restaurant. Whoever designed this place understood the assignment. I went during the week, so thankfully it wasn't very crowded, and my friend and I were able to sit upstairs in one of the honeycomb booths. If one is available, DO IT. It made the whole experience that much more fun, and you get such a cool view of the restaurant from up there. Now, FOOD. I ordered the Pork Tonkatsu Omurice with curry sauce, which comes with chicken fried rice wrapped in that beautiful fluffy omelet, topped with pork tonkatsu and curry. When they bring it out, they actually ask if you'd like to record the presentation before they cut/open the egg--which, obviously, YES. It's one of those little touches that turns ordering food into an actual experience. And it was BOMB. The egg was fluffy, the pork tonkatsu had that crispy texture, and everything worked really well with the fried rice and curry. The curry itself isn't particularly spicy, so if you're someone who doesn't tolerate much heat, don't let the word curry scare you. It had plenty of flavor without being hot. Personally, I like my food SPICY spicy, so I added some extra spice to mine, but that's completely personal preference. I also ordered the Thai iced tea, and that was delicious--fresh, creamy, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted with the meal. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the food, but I think the atmosphere is what pushed the experience over the top for me. The restaurant itself is just SO COOL. There are restaurants where you eat, leave, and that's it--and then there are places where you're looking around the entire time because you keep noticing another little detail. KYURAMEN was definitely the latter. Good food + Thai tea + an omurice presentation + sitting inside a freaking honeycomb booth overlooking this gorgeous restaurant? Yeah. I'm coming back. The Yakitori Platter was a great choice because it let us sample a variety of grilled proteins, and even the grilled zucchini was incredibly delicious. The presentation of the Tonkatsu Omurice was impressive, and the curry sauce was well-balanced with just the right amount of spice to complement the crispy tonkatsu. They provide some card games if you wanna chat with friends! The spot has limited indoor seating as it's very tiny, but they also provide plastic chairs to sit outside in the parking lot. Most people sit outside on the chairs or bring it back to the car. I love that they provide free stickers, know your rights cards, and sell merch and Lactaid. I have yet to come to 626 ice cream during a community event like their Mahjong nights, but I know they collaborate with local orgs! Note that their prices are a little higher than regular soft serve spots, but I'm happy to support them as they pour back into their community. They definitely are worth the price with all the love that they put into their ice cream and their community.
