I stopped by to try their mochi donuts and had a really great experience. Everything was clean and well organized, and the donuts were beautifully displayed with a nice variety of flavors to choose from. ::Dessert:: The texture of the donuts was soft, chewy, with a light crisp on the outside. There was a variety of flavors like Oreo, Biscoff, Strawberry & Cream, Chocolate, Vanilla glaze, Fruity Pebbles, and Churro. Not overly sweet, which I liked. Just one donut can be enough. ::Customer Service:: June and Brandon were both very welcoming from the moment I walked in. Since it was hard choosing between the different flavors, they were really patient and helpful without ever making me feel rushed. They took their time answering questions, gave thoughtful recommendations, and had such a friendly attitude. I stopped by for a Yelp elite experience item to get my free mochi doughnut, but decided to try the Dubai chocolate smoothie as well. The drink itself was pretty pricey (~$9) but I enjoy the pistachio flavor. They also have a strawberry variation of this, but I opted for the original. It gets sweeter as the smoothie melts, and was pretty filling by the end of it. I also ended up getting more mochi donuts. My favorite was the maple flavor and pistachio flavor donuts. Overall, this place offers a sweet little pick-me-up, if you're ever craving mochi donut or pistachio flavored drink in the area.

What a great place we stumbled upon! Came for lunch at a store nearby, and these Donuts caught our eye for dessert. I got the Biscoff Donut, and boy! Oh Boy! I came here in the evening during the summertime, and I applaud the nice and cold air conditioning. I asked the nice young lady at the register what she recommended, and she recommended half mozzarella cheese and half hot dog potato dog, as it was my first time. It was delicious and pretty affordable. The mochi donuts looked good but I didn't have any this time. They seemed kind of pricey. The staff was nice and they made my food to order, so it came out piping hot! read more

I have been here before this last time & have loved it before. The guy who took my order was so nice & great! But I ordered a mozzarella corn dog with potato's on it which is my go to here, he added the sugar. I went along my happy way & when I went to eat it, it wasn't cooked all the way thru. So it was a mix between uncooked / ooey gooey/ mush inside like the batter of the corn dog. But then the end the mozzarella wasn't even fully melty. It was so unpleasant. I couldn't even eat it. I didn't wanna risk getting sick! I will let him know next time I go in since I usually like this place. Hopefully this doesn't happen again :( read more

Always say YES to @domodesserts.arcadia where it's always filled with mochi chewy goodness from over 12 different types of mochi donuts made fresh daily, mochi Korean corn dogs, churros, a variety of milk teas and their special drink, chocolate Dubai shake!!! You cannot go wrong at DOMO in Arcadia, CA! This spot has the most variety of mochi donuts I've seen in the area. Most place will lay out 6 buy this spot is at least 12 or more. Overall - 7.6/10 (for dining in) the food is decent and id say that its an okay spot if you're looking for a quick bite, and they give fairly large portions. Other then that, I'd recommend using the drive-thru instead of dining in. It's way faster, and you won't have to deal with the cleanliness and long waits inside.

I watched as he swiftly and deliberately entered in my order, wasting no time selecting the combinations of buttons on the screen. If I were to describe my experience at Jim's with one word, without a doubt it would be "reassurance." When I took a seat facing the counter, I saw other customers who ordered after me receive their food as I continued to wait. At first, I felt uneasy. Did they forget about my order? Just as I was ready to ask about the status of my breakfast burrito, the young soul called me up to ask about my choice of salsa. Next to him was my burrito, carefully wrapped in the finest parchment. I gave my final "Thank you's" and "Goodbye's" as I departed an experience I will never forget. And as recently as just a few years ago, der Weinerschnitzel (as we called it in the 1900s) was still a bargain spot to eat some stuff that is universally known to be bad for you, but tasty if you're into that sort of thing. There was always some special or "2 for a buck" type deal, and everyone bought drinks to keep it profitable for the company. Prices are now astronomical, to the point that I'm almost embarrassed I came here. I guess the revenue required to pay people $20+/hour has to be higher now, but the size of the food and sadly, the quality seems to also reflect efforts to cut costs and increase margins. Two small non-beef hotdogs, fries, and a small drink should not cost $15 at a fast food place. But that's the deal here. The drive through is impossible if you're driving anything larger than a 1994 Ford Festiva. You're losing sidewall on curb. One plus-- the staff working there was really nice the last time I was in... friendly and cordial. ... and yeah, it's probably my last time in; the end of an era in a world of ever-increasing prices in California.

But this last visit that I went, I really needed Wi-Fi and I was so stressed out from other people not giving me what I needed when I was walking all over old town and crutches. I just taken my mother to the doctor and I needed to check on some work items and nobody else was accommodating. They gave me the Wi-Fi, and they have a really tasty hard kombucha. I was able to be healthy, get my work done, and be in a familial environment.

The woodwork, the hanging wooden plaques, the Japanese-inspired décor, the trees throughout the restaurant, the lighting, and especially the little honeycomb-style booths built into the walls. It almost feels like you've stepped into this little Japanese village rather than just another restaurant. Whoever designed this place understood the assignment. I went during the week, so thankfully it wasn't very crowded, and my friend and I were able to sit upstairs in one of the honeycomb booths. If one is available, DO IT. It made the whole experience that much more fun, and you get such a cool view of the restaurant from up there. Now, FOOD. I ordered the Pork Tonkatsu Omurice with curry sauce, which comes with chicken fried rice wrapped in that beautiful fluffy omelet, topped with pork tonkatsu and curry. When they bring it out, they actually ask if you'd like to record the presentation before they cut/open the egg--which, obviously, YES. It's one of those little touches that turns ordering food into an actual experience. And it was BOMB. The egg was fluffy, the pork tonkatsu had that crispy texture, and everything worked really well with the fried rice and curry. The curry itself isn't particularly spicy, so if you're someone who doesn't tolerate much heat, don't let the word curry scare you. It had plenty of flavor without being hot. Personally, I like my food SPICY spicy, so I added some extra spice to mine, but that's completely personal preference. I also ordered the Thai iced tea, and that was delicious--fresh, creamy, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted with the meal. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the food, but I think the atmosphere is what pushed the experience over the top for me. The restaurant itself is just SO COOL. There are restaurants where you eat, leave, and that's it--and then there are places where you're looking around the entire time because you keep noticing another little detail. KYURAMEN was definitely the latter. Good food + Thai tea + an omurice presentation + sitting inside a freaking honeycomb booth overlooking this gorgeous restaurant? Yeah. I'm coming back. Tip: If you have the option to sit in one of the elevated honeycomb booths, absolutely take it. It makes the experience.

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. When we asked for recommendations, he pointed us in the right direction. We ordered the Sapporo Miso Ramen (Mild), Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, the Tonkatsu Omurice, and started with the Yakitori Platter. The ramen was excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The Yakitori Platter was a great choice because it let us sample a variety of grilled proteins, and even the grilled zucchini was incredibly delicious. The presentation of the Tonkatsu Omurice was impressive, and the curry sauce was well-balanced with just the right amount of spice to complement the crispy tonkatsu. Most people sit outside on the chairs or bring it back to the car. I love that they provide free stickers, know your rights cards, and sell merch and Lactaid. I have yet to come to 626 ice cream during a community event like their Mahjong nights, but I know they collaborate with local orgs! Note that their prices are a little higher than regular soft serve spots, but I'm happy to support them as they pour back into their community. They definitely are worth the price with all the love that they put into their ice cream and their community.

I stopped by recently and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I ordered a half-dozen assortment that included churro, strawberry, classic, and chocolate mochi donuts, and every flavor was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly textured. The young woman at the front counter was exceptionally polite, professional, and genuinely thoughtful, which made the visit even more enjoyable.
