I wanted a corn dog so I decided to try this place because it was inside the mall and they had good prices. The service was fantastic and the place is cute. However, the corn dog batter I didn't like the taste was different an the beef was just ok. The lemonade was delicious.
I've tried Korean hot dogs before but not from this place. Located in the food court, it's busy and pretty loud. I ordered the potato hot dog ($6.99) and you choose two sauces to be drizzled on. The ketchup and garlic parmesan sauce were pretty good, just wished they put it on both sides.
I've always passed by CrunCheese every time I'm at the mall but decided to finally try it today! I saw they had a manager special: $2.99 for the original beef hot dog which is such a steal! The cashier took my order quickly, and the total was $3.30 including tax. Still such a great price! It is made-to-order, so mine took 6 minutes and it was piping hot! I got a garlic parmesan sauce and ketchup on the side to eat with my corn dog. I did ask for sugar on the side, but the employee forgot, but it wasn't a big deal. The corn dog was delicious! Perfectly crispy and savory. There's nothing to complain about, it was a great corn dog. As for the sauces, I didn't like the garlic parmesan sauce, so I just ended up eating it with ketchup. I know the sugar would've been so good with it, so I'll definitely make sure to remind the employee to include it next time haha. I will for sure come back. Everything is pretty affordable, especially that $2.99 deal! Overall, definitely recommend trying them out!!
This Korean Corn Dog place is very consistently delicious. You choose the inside (cheese, sausage) and the outside batter is more of a donut texture. There's options to add potato chunks to the batter (tastes like fries), or sub for a squid ink batter. I've seen hot Cheeto flavored ones as well, where crushed hot cheetos are sprinkled on top. I've been to many Korean hot dog places and I find myself coming back to this place as it is consistently good in its texture (crunchy, crispy outer batter freshly fried to order), and flavor profile. Some other places over proof their batter and it tastes too much like yeast, but this place consistently nails the batter ratio and does not taste like yeast/beer! I personally like adding the sugar on the hot dog batter and choosing the cheese mustard with a drizzle of ketchup on the dog. Only downside might be that it takes some time to get the food compared to other Korean hot dog places. Overall, I recommend if you want a mix of a sweet/salty/savory flavor profile snack!

The line ended up getting longer after I ordered, so maybe I just got lucky with timing. Definitely worth a try if you're craving a corn dog but with a little more pizzazz than hotdog on a stick!
A great snack at the mall! My friend had been craving a korean corn dog so we decided to try this place. After ordering, our corndogs didn't take too long to come out, even though there was quite a bit of people in front of us. Their choice of sauce is also great. I went with the sweet chili sauce for my PotatoCornDog and it was delicious! I also recommend the garlic Parmesan for you cheeseheads out there. Stop by here for a quick, filling snack!
Worth the drive! Best Korean hot dog I've tried hands down! Fried to perfection! The sauces are also so tasty! Service can be a bit slow as there can be wait to order and get your dog. I always order the mozz cheese w/ potato's and get the mixture of sauces (chefs kiss)

I love getting Korean hot dogs from here. I'm so glad they opened a kiosk at the Santa Anita Mall food court. I like the original with sugar dipped in sweet chili sauce. The exterior is perfectly crunchy and the granulated sugar gives the texture an extra sandiness in every bite. My daughter likes the potato mozzarella hot dog . When you bite into it, first you get the crunchy exterior then the gooey cheese then a blast of savory yumminess. Service was fine and being located in the mall the ambiance is loud and causal . Overall a 5 out of 5 for me !

It was late and it took around 7-10 minutes for them to get our orders done. Id say it was pretty standard, crunchy & what you would expect! Public restrooms throughout the mall. Parking is a non-issue since the mall has both lots and a garage. Can be loud since it's in the middle of a large and popular hangout spot. They have a good variety of corn dog options, with the usual beef with/without cheese, as well as rice cake and squid ink. The Jumbo Beef (no sugar) and Potato Hot Dog (with sugar) are both very tasty, crispy, and overall satisfying to eat. Everything is cooked to order, so it all comes out piping hot. They also have a bunch of sauce/seasoning choices (at no extra cost!) and a few drinks. You can ask for sauces on the side. The cost can feel pricey considering it's a snack food, but the portion sizes and quality make up for it. I highly recommend trying the Potato Hot Dog (with sugar) and the ketchup/cheese mustard combo - one of the best I've had. 10/10 recommend.
It's been a while since I've been to the Santa Anita Mall and not going to lie, I was thinking about getting a mall-staple, Hot Dog on a Stick. However, how can you pick Hot Dog on a Stick over a Korean hot dog stand? We ordered the potato dog and the mozzarella/hot dog combo. The potato dog was so good; the beef dog was beefing. It was a bit hard to eat because the potato coating was thick and since I added sugar, it obviously was messy. Still delicious though. The mozzarella/hot dog was also very good. The staff at the stand were exceptionally friendly and helpful as well. These were made fresh and we waited about 10 or so minutes for our order.
Pricing is a tad high, but frankly, it's similar to most places. I took it to go as I was being a fatty. I had already eaten dinner and grabbed a strawberry matcha latte at the mall, but I couldn't not stop by to try something. I'm a plane Jane. I ordered the Mozzarella & Potato dog. I took it to go since as I said, I had already eaten dinner. When you pick up your order, you get to choose the sauces you'd like. I skipped the sauce, but the sweet worker suggested sugar. I was confused. But if she suggested it, there had to be a good reason. So I told her yes. And I'm glad I did. Before I embarked on my 1.5 hour drive home, I had to at least take a bite to eat it fresh. WOW! I can't explain how or why the sugar works, but it just does. Haven't ate a korean hotdog in a long time and was craving it so decided to try this spot out. They are located in the food court area and there was no line to order. I got the potato hotdog (6.99). It took around 10 minutes or so for it to be ready. When you go to the counter, they ask if you want sugar on it and what sauces you want. They have many sauces to choose from and they tell you which combinations are popular. I chose the ketchup and garlic parmesan. Got them to-go but the potato on the outside was still crunchy when I got home. The sauces went well with the hotdog and potato on the outside. It was very good. Not too pricey and the size is expected. Will come back again if I am craving it. read more

cute little stand, like the korean inspired branding and visual since i love all things korean and cute, which somehow giving this illusion that the asian version/rendition of a corn dog will be lighter and less fattenning. Therefore feel very deceived when I realize how heavy and rich the dogs are! the organic fruit punch was very surgery too. definitely a guilty pleasure type of meal/snack. I got the half moz half dog stick, heavy on the dough side, very hot and you can add on the condiment after it is done frying. read more

Came here for the first time today and got a jumbo beef hot dog. I told the cashier to just give me whatever was most popular. She said the potato topping was the most popular, so I went with that. A few minutes later when my order was up she recommended dipping it in sugar. For sauces I just stuck with basic ketchup and mustard. Overall it was good and the outside was nice and crunchy. After the first 2-3 bites the potato definitely felt a little much. The sugar didn't really add anything for me. Next time I would try it without the potato and sugar, and maybe try the sweet chili and parm sauces. read more

If you want to try a Korean hot dog... These are decent. They are not the BEST I've had BUT these are definitely NOT the worst I've had either. Trust me, I've had way way worse. I got the hot dog and cheese... Well hot dog and mozzarella and hot with cheddar cheese. The hot dog with mozz was good! The cheese had a great pull to it which is all important for that cheese pull picture. Lol it was good. I liked it! The hot dog and cheddar cheese was odd for me as normally, it is set up like the mozzarella one where the cheese is at the top and hot dog is at the bottom. Here, the cheddar cheese was wrapped around the hot dog and then dipped and fried. Was it bad? No. Was it what I expected? Also, no. They also need to learn to dip their hot dogs better as the bottom of the hot dog was not covered all the way on both of them. Also, I LOVED their jalapeno ranch sauce. It had good flavor and mild kick. Their honey mustard sauce was a little too sweet for me. The price wasn't bad especially considering that it was in a mall. If I was there again and I wanted Korean corn dogs, I'll definitely hit this place up. read more

This is such a delicious place to have a corn dog in the mall! I LOVE the corn dogs here, they're so crunchy! Me and my sister ordered the squid ink corn dogs with mozzarella and hotdog, and our favorite condiments (really good!). We also ordered the mango lemonade, which I highly recommend!! My sister, quotes that it was, "The BEST mango lemonade I've EVER HAD!!" Last time we visited the service was a bit sloppy, but this time it was much better. The little stand is SUPER CUTE!! It's a perfect addition to the mall. I personally prefer this Cruncheese rather than the hot dog on a stick next door because I can confirm this place is a definitely way better. read more
Hot Dog On A Stick has got some competition in the food court.. If you like cheese or hot dogs, you'll like this place (as well as other Korean rice dog places). They use a rice batter instead of a corn meal batter which makes for a lighter batter in my opinion. Fun to eat (the cheese will stretch further than you think). Lots of sauce options to choose from. And lastly, opt to have your food on a stick rolled in the sugar. I know it sounds weird but it adds a sweetness to the savory flavors. Be adventurous and get your food on a stick here and then get the lemonade from Hot Dog On A Stick! read more

BEST KOREAN CORNDOGS EVER!!! I got their best seller Mozzarella & Hotdog, it took like 15-20 minutes but it was sooo fresh and the cheese pull was extremely satisfying. I love that we can choose our own sauces but they also have their own "best combination". Customer service was top notch as well. The worker was very attentive and pleasant. Definitely recommend checking them out if you're in the area!! read more
Located in the middle of the Santa Anita Mall food court. Worst Korean corn dog I've ever had. Batter was thin and had no chew at all, which is what Korean corn dogs are known for. Thankfully, I opted to add potatoes which held the batter onto the filling. If it was fried a bit longer the potato would have a crispy outside and soft inside. It wasn't and the potato was a bit soggy. They do have lots of sauces to add onto their corn dogs. I asked for garlic parmesan, honey mustard and sweet chili. This combo added a rich flavor from the garlic parmesan, tanginess from the honey mustard and a small pop of chili flavor. read more
Prices have gone up 50 cents each dog since last year but still a reasonable price. I actually think these are the most flavorful Korean hotdogs around and with their sauce matchups, takes it to another level. Gotta load it up with the sugar and #2 combo is still fire. read more

Another Korean rice dog place in Arcadia, this time at the mall's food court! While also picking up food at the other spots, I got a squid ink mozza and hot dog for $4.99. Not all Korean rice dog spots have squid ink so I was excited to try this one. I asked what sauce is recommended with it and was told sweet chili sauce. I got that and also had it sprinkled with sugar (never say no to sugar on a Korean rice dog, it makes a difference!). Took it home to eat with the other things I ordered in the food court and enjoyed my quick and easy dinner at home. Good amount of melty mozzarella cheese with the hot dog. I was pleasantly surprised! My corn dog with half mozzarella and hotdog center was to die for. That cheese was just perfect! My girlfriend got the corn dog with rice cake center and she enjoyed it too! As for the condiments, I liked their Ketchup w/ honey mustard, sweet chili and garlic parmesan. And don't forget the sugar coating, it's a must for kdogs!!! As a first time customer, we were completely satisfied. The corn dogs were cooked to perfection, so soft & fluffy. Overall, I'm hooked & planning to go back to try more! The location is good too, it's conveniently located in the food court at the Santa Anita mall. One of the best kdogs I've had. Taste: 4/5 Price: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Service: 4/5 This was my first time having a Korean hot dog and I must say, this location was an excellent introduction to it. The price was pretty good, the original costed $3.49, and you can add whatever condiments you want. The Korean hot dog was a good size for its price, and they do offer many other options that all seemed very tasty. The original was so crispy, and the sugar they add afterwards perfectly balances the savory taste of the fried batter and hot dog. I added honey mustard and garlic parmesan as my condiment, and to be honest, I think it was a bit too saucy for my liking. Next time I'm going to stick with just one condiment, or at least pick flavors that balance well together. This establishment is in the middle part of the food court so there might be a fair amount of people walking through. If there is a long line, expect to wait for a bit for your food to come out, but if there isn't much people, I would highly recommend giving the place a try. Overall if you are craving a yummy savory and sweet snack for not too much money, CrunCheese Korean Hot Dog is a solid option. read more
Got the potato+hotdog corndogs. One with ketchup and mustard, the other with ketchup and hot sauce. They have multiple sauce options for you to choose from. Both were coated in a light layer of white sugar, which the staff coats for you upon request. The sugar flavor is barely noticeable which gives you a light sweet and savory flavor. The corndogs were hot and freshly fried. The potatoes require you to make huge bites (almost like unhinging your jaw) but the texture is crispy on the outside, yet soft on the inside. read more
Korean corn dogs have been the trendy hype for a couple years now and with so many around, the competition is a bit stiff. CrunCheese is convenient since it's in the mall since you don't have to travel outside to satisfy your cravings. Despite how crowded it was on a Sunday, our order came out pretty quickly. There is some bottle neck wait since there's only one worker to sauce up the corn dogs since it's not self serve due to COVID. The menu is pretty basic, with most things you can find at many other Korean corn dog places. Aside from the cheese mustard, the other sauces were also pretty normal too. We got the squid ink mozzarella and hot dog. This comes out PIPING hot, so make sure not to burn the roof of your mouth! Cheese was gooey but didn't pass the cheese stretch test I do at every Korean corn dog place I go to. Definitely a bit less hot dog than cheese, but the tentacle part was nice and crispy. Not bad, but with so many other places to go to, I just think this place is okay. read more

Amongst the ever changing and rotating dining options at the mall, this place is a solid addition. Located right in the center of the food court with fun options to try. Since it was my first time, I opted for the half mozzarella cheese and hot dog which is the fan favorite. Fair pricing considering everything is pretty steep nowadays. What I loved most was how perfectly it was fried all around and the outer layer is light and thin, which makes the content inside more enjoyable to eat. Flavoring will depend on the sauce you choose and they have plenty, so stack up if you like to enjoy more spices with your dog. Cheese was great and hot dog is just basic, but a fun mall treat for sure. Toddler approved. :) That added an extra star. Treat your self! read more

The first Korean hot dog shop in the mall! I was pretty excited to try since I do enjoy snacking at the mall, so this is a great addition to the Westfield Santa Anita mall. I tried the mozzarella and hot dog and the total was about less than $5. Not too cheap but not too expensive for a snack. I also got the ketchup and garlic Parmesan sauce drizzled on top. The overall size of this corndog is actually pretty small compared to what I've seen at other places. Into the first bite, it's not as fried/crunchy as I thought. So it's kind of nice, but these usually taste better if it's more crispy. Probably the batter they use could be better, but it was not as satisfying as I hoped it to be. The garlic Parmesan sauce was really nice though! I liked the garlic taste from it a lot. The mozzarella also felt kind of small? There wasn't much cheese, but maybe because the overall size is just smaller. My friend got the potato dog and he said he mainly tasted the potatoes than the hot dog. He said it's more overwhelmingly potato lol. I've tried Myungrang in Ktown before and I think that place is still better when you're getting your moneys worth in size, crispiness, etc. CrunCheese is good if you just want to satisfy your Korean Hot Dog cravings. read more
Small stand in the middle of the food court (ambiance). Friendly service. However, there was more focus on the potato than hot dog. The potato chunks (about 1 cm^3) were crispy and tender on the inside. Flavor was one kind of boring: just salty. The potatoes did make the dog look photogenic, but the potatoes overshadowed the batter and dog. This was to hide the low quality inner dog. The hot dog had a cheap 1D taste, lacking meaty juciness. Paying a few dollars extra to have cheese may have made the dog better, but at that point some cheese fries would be less costly and give you the same meal. The dog came with some sauces that were decent but potent: sweet chili, creamy honey mustard, garlic-parm. Overall, it looks better than it tastes, but it doesn't taste horrible, or really like a hot dog for that matter. read more
Great stop in the main food court in Santa Anita Mall, next to Baja Tacos. Parking at the Movie Theater/Cheesecake Factory wing of the mall. Loved the potato mozzarella, texturally wonderful. Mozzarella dog is also solid. Got the ketchup with honey mustard combo sauce which worked well with it. They have all the standard flavors for all.
