I wanted to try a lot of things she did not want to waste of space for the veggies although they did look good. I ordered the chili oil and the garlic butter. The garlic butter easily was shared between the fillet and the shrimp adding a nice umami flavor. The garlic oil was smoky and not too hot. The chicken fried rice in my opinion was better than Benihana's or just as good. Although the garlic noodles were a little sweet from my liking, I was evil easily able to alter them to something. I enjoyed with some chili oil and soy sauce. It tone down the sweet. Simple, clean decor. Several ways to see the menu on the wall LCD or by the counter. The service was very good, quick and kind. The quality of the product was very good. The fillet almost melted in your mouth, and the shrimp was cooked well without being rubbery. I spent $52 here to upgrade two chicken fried rice and garlic noodles. They have plenty of parking a huge parking lot, limited seating, maybe eight tables or so, mostly four tops.

The food is actually really really flavorful the lobster I had was very tender and juicy and the jumbo shrimp were a good l size. I would have ordered the chowmein though instead of the rice because the chowmein was way better! After discussing with the family we enjoyed it but it is 4 stars since it does take quite a while to have your meal and the customer service could be better. The food itself carries this place but 5 stars if they can improve service!

He didn't hold back on the garlic butter (thank you! ) and everything tasted amazing because of it. Not only was the food incredible, but Nathan also put on the best show we've seen in years. He was funny, engaging, energetic and made the entire experience so much fun for everyone at the table even though it was just 5 of us. A shout-out to Tommy, the chef at the table across from us. He had us watching his show too! He was putting on an awesome performance and it definitely caught our attention. Santa Anita had some seriously entertaining chefs that night! One more thing that really stood out. The restaurant was spotless and the restrooms were incredibly clean. It's always nice to see a place that takes pride in every part of the guest experience. We usually go to the City of Industry location, but decided to switch things up and try Santa Anita. Thanks to Nathan, we're so glad we did! He truly made our dinner memorable. If you're lucky enough to get Nathan as your chef, you're in for an amazing meal and an even better experience. Benihana needs more chefs like Nathan and Tommy too!

My husband has been raving about this place every since his first visit, so I was super excited to…read moretry it. During our visit, we went with the Chef's Recommendation menu and also added mentaiko buttered scallops. I love the interior of this place. The service was also impeccable. Braised Beef Tongue - Practically melts in your mouth Wagyu Carppacio - This dish had so many textures to it. You have the raw beef carpaccio, the salad with sauce on top adds flavor to it, and finally it has the Lays chips on top to give it some crunchy texture. Japanese Wagyu Sukiyaki - My favorite thing from this evening. They do such a great show of preparing this for you and you get a dipping plate with a raw egg to get all the flavors in this. The sukiyaki sauce in the bowl was super flavorful and strong. Wagyu Short Rib - This definitely tastes better using the spices they give for your meal. It's more on the lean side so it was very easy to eat iWagyu Prime Short Rib - This has a little bit more fat and on the chewier side when ate plain. But with the dipping spices, it definitely brings out the saltiness the meat needs Wagyu Bibimbap - The staff will mix this in front of you and make sure all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed so you can get a little bit of seaweed, wagyu, sauce, and rice in every bite. Of course by the time we got to this, we were way too full so I only got a few bites in before I had to call it and to-go the rest. Mentaiko Buttered Scallops - This was amazingly creamy. However I did make a mistake by adding this to the chef's recommendation. The Chef's Recommendation is curated where everything compliments each other. The mentaiko buttered scallops had their usual strong salty taste and super creamy due to the butter, but it was too strong when added to the Chef's Recommendation that I could barely eat it during the meal. Our next return, I will go with just the chef's recommendation to avoid messing up the balance. But the chef's recommendation was curated very well if you're not sure what to get! The bibimbap and sukiyaki were the chef's kiss

The Wagyu is amazing! We got the A5 sampler and the Wagyu was the best I've ever had! Buttery, melt in your mouth goodness! They cook for you too (only if you get the Japanese Wagyu I believe) so the Wagyu is cooked to perfection. It is a pretty small portion but I get it because the meat is high quality! I came back two more times after and had the A5 Miyazaki which was to die for!!! The same buttery and melt in your mouth goodness!! Obsessed!! Love the presentation of the meat too, makes it feel fancy~ I also went to the other location in Monterey Park and that was amazing too. The menu is different though but still really good! The service was wonderful as they came to check on us multiple times to see if we needed any assistance and I was celebrating my birthday, so they offered a free cheesecake! That was super creamy and one of the best cheesecakes I had. The restaurant itself is very nice, clean and modern inside. I can't wait for my next trip back!

So my coworker wants to try power lunch from Benihana!…read more Benihana is a restaurant that growing up that combines entertainment and teppanyaki Japanese style cooking in a restaurant. Inside is fair large, you will be seating with strangers unless you have reservations. I choose shrimp with onion soup for power lunch. It comes with some vegetables. Shrimp - I counted 12, pretty good size and taste savory and fresh. Vegetables are grilled with soy sauce. Bowl of fried rice is pretty good portion. Overall the taste is better than average since it's teppanyaki style and good use of sauce and butter for certain dishes. Power lunch starts from $15.95 to $19.95, and it doesn't have the shows. It's more of teppanyaki and food for 45 minutes lunch. Expect slightly more savory, and couple standard dipping sauces help on certain dishes. Overall it's satisfactory. I am full.

She took us to the grill where they make Teppanyaki food. It's very similar to Benihana style. We were seated with another wonderful family and enjoyed our time together. Got to know each other and had a nice conversation. I ordered their Cut Spicy Tuna Roll, (15.25), Tokyo Imperial (52.50), which came with Miso Soup, Salad with their yummy ginger dressing, Shrimp, healthy sautéed vegetables and Filet Mignon. Asked for medium-rare, and Chicken Fried Rice (5.00), I don't know why they charge for the rice? I also got one of my favorite cocktails..Piña Colada (11.00). William was our server along with Linda. They were both kind and sweet. Our chef Luis made all of us a PERFECT MEAL! He was a bit quiet, but did a FANTASTIC JOB! Place was kind of empty for a Saturday night.
