I wanted to try a lot of things she did not want to waste of space for the veggies although they did look good. I ordered the chili oil and the garlic butter. The garlic butter easily was shared between the fillet and the shrimp adding a nice umami flavor. The garlic oil was smoky and not too hot. The chicken fried rice in my opinion was better than Benihana's or just as good. Although the garlic noodles were a little sweet from my liking, I was evil easily able to alter them to something. I enjoyed with some chili oil and soy sauce. It tone down the sweet. Simple, clean decor. Several ways to see the menu on the wall LCD or by the counter. The service was very good, quick and kind. The quality of the product was very good. The fillet almost melted in your mouth, and the shrimp was cooked well without being rubbery. This place is quite small but it can hold a group of 6,7 people if it is not busy. The service was ok. Just know it takes about 30-45 minutes to get your food. The food is actually really really flavorful the lobster I had was very tender and juicy and the jumbo shrimp were a good l size. I would have ordered the chowmein though instead of the rice because the chowmein was way better! After discussing with the family we enjoyed it but it is 4 stars since it does take quite a while to have your meal and the customer service could be better. The food is absolutely divine!!! I got the Surf and Turf and the filet mignon was perfectly cooked and tender, the shrimp was flavorful, and the rice was heavenly. The vegetables were also cooked to perfection, not crunchy nor soft. I asked the staff for sauce recommendations and they suggested the Yum Yum and Diablo. Both are great, but I'm leaning more towards the Diablo sauce, it's delicious with just the right amount of spice. The portions are huge. I was only able to eat half for lunch so the other half will be dinner and I'm looking forward to it. We ordered two combos: filet mignon with salmon, and New York steak with chicken. We also added their fried rice (which we heard is cooked with garlic butter) and a side of garlic noodles. Overall, the portions were generous and definitely filling. The highlight for me was actually the vegetables--they were super buttery, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. Surprisingly, I enjoyed them more than the fried rice, which was just okay in my opinion. Between the filet mignon and New York steak, I would recommend saving your money and going with the New York steak. It was just as tender, a bit more flavorful, and had a better texture overall. The chicken was slightly on the dry side. The sauces were a standout--especially the "yummy yummy" sauce. That alone would make me come back! The garlic noodles were also a hit, especially with my 2-year-old who couldn't get enough of them. Our total came out to around $100 for the two combos and noodles, which is comparable to Benihana pricing, but the portion sizes here are quite large. If the kitchen was backed up, I would have appreciated honest communication upfront rather than unrealistic wait times. To make matters worse, there were gnats flying around and getting on the food while we waited and ate, which was very unsanitary and unacceptable. Our food was also given to the wrong table, and we actually had to tell the other party that the order belonged to us because staff had mixed it up. On top of that, the waitress accidentally added an extra noodle dish to our order and then attempted to charge us for the mistake instead of taking accountability.
