We were craving so went to Arcadia location since Pasadeba closed. Husband had steak and jumbo shrimp. Steak very tender but shrimp did not look jumbo! I ordered Dynamute roll it was very filling! Poor girl at our grill cried everyone we had a big fire!!! Our server been serving for this company 24 years!!!

So disappointed. We've been here for over a decade. The portion of food shrunk and the price went up. I always ordered same items. It was lunch combo. Plate from 2019 and 2026.

I think this place is overrated. Food was okay, way too pricey. Service was alright, but the cooking part which is like a show was great.

Everyone loves Teppan, but let's be honest... most places can be a bit bland. This spot is the exception. The flavor surprisingly surpassed my expectations, they use quality ingredients that do not lack on flavor. The service was good, we wanted for nothing. The vibe is your standard Teppan atmosphere, but the food sets it apart. If you want a Teppan experience that actually tastes as good as it looks, don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed!

I had best lunch ever today at Tokyo Wako, the service and the food was fantastic.. we enjoyed so much the fresh Sashimi and delicious Teppanyaki.

Spicy crispy tofu - tastes more like dry agedashi tofu without the broth.

It's pretty OK as far as hibachi dining experience goes The Chinese staff and chef were fine; the show was all right, no tricks, no wow factor -- if it's what you're looking for, maybe go watch a youtube video Lol. I ordered the "Sa Ban" set (salmon, shrimp, scallops), the salmon being the best-tasting of the three. The fried rice I thought was too salty and oily. I would have added 1 more star had they not cheaped out on A/C -- It was very warm and uncomfortable inside. Mango slushy came to the rescue, just barely.

I had dinner at this restaurant with a co-worker. The atmosphere appeals to the American sense of the image of everything Japanese including the little bridge over the koi pond at the entrance. The interior is divided into two sections, one for teppanyaki and the other a bar/dining area which includes a sushi counter. We sat in a booth in the dining area. I ordered a glass of wine. Japan is not known for their wine and none were listed on their menu so a glass of Gato Negro cabernet sauvignon from Chile was my choice. It was dry and smooth with a hint of spice. For my meal I chose the chicken panko which came with miso soup, salad, and rice. The miso soup was good but different from what I'm used to with mushrooms instead of tofu. The salad was fresh with a delicious dressing and the chicken panko was excellent. The chicken breast, beneath the lightly crunchy exterior, was very tender and the katsu sauce had great flavor to dip the pre-sliced chicken pieces. Service was superb and we were checked on by both our waitress and the manager (owner?) as we ate. Although I can't officially review the sushi since I didn't eat any, my co-worker ecstatically said it was fantastic. I really enjoyed everything about my meal here.

Had an early dinner with family. We were seated with another family at the teppanyaki side of the restaurant. Regular menu dishes were good. Hibachi food was ok, fried rice was the most flavorful from that grill. Staff was attentive with refills and asking if we needed anything else. Quick on clearing the table too since the regular dishes came quick right after having salad and soup while hibachi food was being cooked. Tables are well spaced out so no bumping with the next table.

I have been coming here for years and the food has always been good. Late on a review, but here I am writing one finally :) they have majority of the time greats cooks, but not all of the them have good personality. They don't really communicate of perhaps have an attitude like our cook who name I failed to ask! Also, our server was not good or attentive! She never came back and brung my steam rice super late. For my order I ordered the lunch chicken teriyaki combo! Which was very tasty and made very moist to my liking. Everything was good and fresh! Overall, I recommend this spot it's a lil out dated but the food is good and have great lunch specials. Easy and lots of parking in the lot!

I would like to start by saying that the bartender Ricardo deserves 5 stars. Someone at our table tipped Chef I ten dollars before he started to cook. He asked for the chef to give them a good show. The chef did a few of the tricks, but the food and utensils weren't flying. The only thing that flew were pieces of shrimp into the mouths of some of the customers. I'm not going to ruin it for others, but those that have gone here know that there is more than shrimp that gets thrown around. I was disappointed with my scallops that I had asked them to make with their yummy yummy sauce. The scallops weren't cooked with the sauce. It was just added as an afterthought. I should have just asked for just the hibachi scallops. Everyone else enjoyed what they ordered. We still gave a tip to the chef despite how disappointed we were with his showmanship because the food tasted good. I liked going to this location because it's easier to find parking here in comparison to their location in Pasadena. I go to the one in Pasadena when I feel like walking around a mall. I gave 3 stars because I could not believe that someone would turn off the air conditioner in July, while chefs are cooking on a flattop with occasional demonstrations of flames. You could only imagine how hot it got when there were flames while the chef was cooking. When another family arrived after our dinner was over, someone finally turned the air conditioner back on.

The chefs were very skilled and made great food in front of us. The interior was also great!

The Royal Hibachi - Chicken and steak plate with all veggies, no rice. I can easily get 2-3 meals out of this. So good with the Joker sauce!

My niece has been raving about this place forevs and every time I try to order, they're either…read moreclosed or not taking orders for delivery. Yesterday I tried to order and it was closed so I went with my usual 323 Hibachi on Wheels (go see my review). Even though I ordered two plates yesterday - you don't become Elite unless you exhibit "big back" eating tendencies lol - I was still craving more hibachi, especially steak. So here I go again trying to order from this place and they weren't taking orders. Persistence paid off and they finally opened up the delivery option. I got the steak and shrimp plate. The steak was tenderly cooked and not chewy. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and they were not rubbery. The veggies came with a nice assortment of zucchini, onions, bell peppers and mushrooms; however, they could have used a little more salt/pepper and/or butter (I think they may have been sautéed in oil). The rice was perfection and this girl loves her fried rice. Note that they put scallions on top of the rice/meat portion as well as on the shrimp in case you have an allergy (I don't recall seeing that mentioned when I was ordering). As for the sauces, my go to is the "pink sauce". They offer a spicy version (the Joker) and a non-spicy version. The spicy version is too spicy for me but it was doable and the other one was too bland. I was disappointed with their version of "pink sauce" but their garlic butter and ginger sauce (which I never use) made up for the disappointment. Definitely go with the garlic butter and ginger sauce. I dip all of my hibachi in sauce and don't conform to what sauce goes with what - I conform to what my tastebuds like. While this was a very nice portion for the price, ya girl ate nearly everything and I had already eaten about an hour prior lol. Zero control when it comes to yummy food. This is definitely a place to get your hibachi on and gets a yummy in your tummy rating. One recommendation for the restaurant: For deliveries, I suggest stapling a receipt or something to that effect so the recipient can tell if the delivery person accessed the food/opened the bag and potentially tampered with the food. In this day and age, one can't be too safe.
