Great food, friendly staff, and multi-purpose / spacious dining environment. The food came out quickly, perfect temperature and we were checked in on often.

Cabrera's Mexican Cuisine was a miss for me. I expected authentic Mexican food but this felt more like American Mexican. The guacamole and salsa did not impress and tasted like something from a grocery store. I ordered the Tostada salad and the chicken with rice and refried beans were just okay. I am used to fresh homemade Mexican cuisine and this did not meet that standard. The waitress and staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, average at best.

I don't always get much one-on-one time with my daughters. Being separated and not seeing my kids all the time, you really appreciate times like this. Just you and one of your daughters, eating slowly, joking around, sharing dessert. That's the stuff I hang onto. Food's just the excuse. The real meal is the time you get to share it with someone who matters. Should you check this place out? Yeah. Cabrera's in Arcadia feels like one of those places where time slows down just enough for you to notice it. The staff greets you like they actually mean it, not because they're trained to. The lighting's warm, the booths feel lived in, and there's always someone laughing somewhere -- usually a family celebrating something small but important. I got the carne asada tacos a la carte. Simple, juicy, that perfect grilled edge that makes you want another bite even when you're full. She went with the cheese enchiladas, rich, melty, and exactly the kind of comfort food that makes you exhale a little deeper after the first bite. We finished with flan, smooth and caramel-sweet, the kind of dessert that makes silence between bites feel full rather than awkward. Good for Dates? I'm mixed on this one. If it's a first date or a "getting to know you" vibe, maybe not. It's more for family, close friends, or someone you've already built something with. The kind of place where you can relax, eat something good, and just chill. The servers check in just enough to remind you they care, but don't interrupt when things are flowing. So if you just want to unwind, split flan, and talk about life. Cabrera's is a solid move. Final Verdict Yes, check this place out. But not just for the food, for the moments that happen while you're eating it.

Growing up in the 626, my family always came here for celebrations and milestones. Cabrera's is perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, and after-funeral food. The servers are always very kind, patient, and attentive. The chips are warm and the food knocks it out of the park every single time. The decor is warm and inviting, reminds me of the parties my family and friends would have. Most recently, came here for my anniversary with my wife. The food was delicious, and when we ordered 1 flan to share they instead gave us 2 small ones as they were out of the larger ones. Thank you, Cabrera's, for always being the one good thing.

Always the best ceviche in town and the drinks are hands down the best I know. Waitresses are the friendliest and waiters are always kind.

We went to Cabrera's early on a Friday night, expecting it to be quiet but we knew that notion was out the door as soon as we entered the parking lot. It was packed and despite having a reservation, we had to wait about 20 minutes for our table. But once inside, the service was friendly and the fiesta ambiance was set to high. They have an extensive menu and it was hard to decide what to get. We settled on a steak, chicken fajitas, chicken mole, and guacamole. All were decent except for the steak. It was cooked well done and was flavorless. The sauce for the accompanying enchilada lacked any depth and was under seasoned. I think the stars at Cabrera's are the fajitas and molcajetes, both are quite impressive. All in all it was a fun experience but parking was a bit sketchy at this location so we'll probably hit one of their other locations next time.

I love Mexican food and Cabrera's is one of my go to spots! The food always taste very authentic and the service is always very kind and very attentive. The overall vibe of the place, for the most part, is pretty lively with the music playing. My go-to order is the Chile Verde. It taste like the way my grandma would make it growing up. The portions are always very generous as well. Overall, this place is a solid Mexican restaurant that hits the spot every time.

Service is great and so is the food. The restaurant is not very big but busy and they also celebrated many birthdays while we were there. It's nice , however, a bit overwhelming. My son has autism and he had a very difficult time with all the flashing lights and extremely loud sounds. Once is ok but this time we had 4! I think the celebration should continue but maybe not too many flashing lights,(which could also be a problem to someone with seizure disorders). Memo was our server and he was very accommodating.

A spacious restaurant with cozy vibes and lots of seating. There are both tables and tufted booths. The waiters were very friendly. The menu had lots to choose from and I went with the chicken enchiladas. Unfortunately the enchiladas were not at all what I expected.. I'm born and raised in Los Angeles, and am used to a melty cheese sort of enchilada served with beans and rice, not potatoes and broccoli. However, I will say it was still tasty and felt like healthy eating (although I was prepared for something heartier). The chips and salsa were addicting! We didn't order cocktails, but they looked really good and with so much to choose from on the menu, this is definitely a place I will further explore.

Very good service. Margaritas are a little on the expensive side but food is good and nice booth seating .

Located on Live Oak Ave. between 8th and Hempstead Avenues. Small private parking lot behind the restaurant. We went here during lunch time on a Monday and were seated immediately. The restaurant is on the smaller side but has plenty of seating (booths and tables). There's also patio/outside seating. I tried their 'Chimichanga' burrito with grilled steak. Food tasted good with fresh ingredients and portions are generous. Service was amazing. Shout out to our server, 'Jasmine' who was extremely attentive and welcoming. A family having lunch was celebrating a birthday, and the restaurant went above and beyond to make it special. They went to the birthday boy's table with a sparkler candle on a dessert, singing to him. Overall, we had a good lunch experience here and will definitely return.

What is vegan at your restaurant?

Hello! We have a lot of dishes that include the option for Soyrizo.

Do they have mariachi band? If so, on what days do they played?

Hi! We currently do not have mariachi. So sorry about that.

Do you guys take reservations? If so, where can I find the link to reserve. Thank you.

Hello! We take reservations for parties of eight or more, you can go ahead and call the location to make a reservation. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have an online portal for reservation.

What is the cost for Sunday brunch for adult and kid?

Hello! We do not have a Sunday brunch, we just have a breakfast and lunch menu with different items and pricing. To see our menu options please visit www.cabreras.com/menu. Thank you!

    Is there outdoor dining?

Yes, they have outdoor dining 👍

You serve brunch on Sunday until 3pm, but is the regular menu available also?

We don’t have a separate brunch menu and the regular menu is always available.

    Does Cabreras have draft beer?

The Pasadena and Duarte locations do.

Hello, we are your regular customer , I always order the same Margarita (not at the happy hour) My question is why the price of the same margarita is always different? Sometimes is $9.99, sometime is $12.99 or $15.99. Which one is right?

The same thing happened to me. Margaritas always have different price, yet it's the same I order all the time.

Do they have gluten free options? Are the sauces, rice, beans and meats gluten free?

Sorry, I have no idea...and i was there today! I would call them, and ask, though.

    Do they serve breakfast?

I believe so but only on weekends!

The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and fast, making the entire experience feel smooth from start to finish. Since there were five of us, we ordered a variety of dishes to share family-style, which turned out to be the best decision. The absolute star of the table was the pancakes--they are truly outstanding! We sat at a table by the front window facing the main drag. The area definitely has an old town feel with many restaurants and shops up and down the street. There is also a park right across the street. There is plenty of parking around the corner on the street and in a nearby lot. I started out with the Coughlin's Law cocktail (Aviation gin, house infused vanilla syrup, fresh lemon, egg white, lavender bitters, $16). It was a good light drink with light vanilla and lemon flavor. I always love a good foam top too. She started out with a Basil Paloma (Herradura silver tequila, muddled basil & grapefruit, fresh grapefruit juice, lime, simple syrup, seltzer, $15). It had good grapefruit and basil flavor, and was nicely balanced. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower appetizer ($14). The cauliflower was supposed to be grilled, but it seemed almost raw. The buffalo sauce definitely had a good kick. For my entrée, I had the Black Angus Basin Burger (manchego cheese, carmelized onions, arugula, special sauce, brioche bun, $19). The burger was excellent. The cheese, carmelized onions, and arugula was a great flavor combo. The fries were good, but I'd order them more crispy next time. She had the two taco plate with fish and potato tacos ($15). The taco shells were freshly fried, and it was a filling plate that she enjoyed. We had one more round of drinks and I had the Billionaire cocktail (Old Forrester 100 proof bourbon, lemon, house made grenadine, absinthe, $16). This was excellent. It was very balanced, and not boozy at all with a very light sweetness. Her second was the Smoke and Fire (Peloton de la Muerte mezcal, Ancho Reyes liqueur, muddled jalapeno & orange, fresh lime, agave, chili salt, $15). It was pretty well balanced with a medium smokiness. It definitely had a kick of heat on the finish. Our server Lakyn was friendly and provided good service. The menu prices are cash prices. There is an extra 3.5% surcharge if you pay with a credit card. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer was mostly a miss, but everything else was very good so I'm rounding up to five stars. They have a very good sized cocktail and food menu, as well as many beers on tap. They also have happy hour specials. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.
