We absolutely loved this place! It's a little hidden, but we are so glad we stopped in. My wife and I brought our son Liam here for the first time, and everything was delicious. I had the shrimp cocktail, my wife had the carne asada burrito, and Liam got the burger. He already said he wants to come back and try the tacos next time! It's a small, local spot with a great drink menu, including those amazing fancy micheladas and margaritas. They also have TVs playing both fútbol and football, which makes it a fun place to hang out, eat, and watch a game. Stopped by this restaurant because my husband and I drove by and noticed the catchy name. We walked in were immediately greeted, and told to sit anywhere we'd like. Once we sat down, our server (Yanetza) introduced herself with a big smile, and took our drink order. A couple of minutes later, she asked us if we were ready to place our food order. Which we were. I ordered Ciro style shrimp, and my husband ordered a chicken quesadilla. Let me just say, my shrimp were a 10 out of a 10. They were shell-on, plump, tender, and coated in pungent caramelized garlic with a sharp lingering chili kick. I did not taste the quesadilla but my husband said it was flavorful, and packed with chicken. The only downfall, and reason for a 4 out of 5 stars was because of the music. The volume was turned up a bit too high. At times, it was really hard for me to hear my husband. Other than that, this place will definitely see me again. My wife and I were first-time visitors to this restaurant, and we were impressed. The second we stepped inside, two waitresses warmly greeted us and directed us to sit wherever we liked. The restaurant's interior is very clean and well organized, and the decor screams "fun." Seven big-screen TVs showed numerous sports events at once. Latin music was playing overhead, which felt festive; however, it was a tad too loud, and I could feel the bass from each song throughout my body, but it was all good. This restaurant is very popular, as the stream of customers never slowed down. Our waitress, Yanetza, was AMAZING!!! She was super friendly, hard-working, attentive, and engaging. Thank you for the GREAT service! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! My chicken quesadilla was well prepared, hot, and filling. First of all I walked in and they have high top table seating which I love! The waitress greeted me and said I can choose where to sit she brought over the meñus alongside chips and salsa. Here's a run down of my experience: Campechana and Mixed Ceviche: My party couldn't pick between the two so we ordered both. The shrimp cocktail and ceviche was super fresh and came with a generous portion size. Probably one of the best ceviches I've ever had. Garlic Shrimp: My dad wasn't too crazy about it. I think he was hoping the shrimps would be bigger. Unsure if he will be ordering in the future. Overall, great place for ceviche and happy hour beers. Very disappointing experience when it came to accessibility. We brought my mom to this restaurant on 09/12/26 at approximately 6:00 pm and specifically requested a handicap-accessible table so she could comfortably and safely enjoy the evening with our family. We were told by a waitress/server that the accessible seating area was unavailable and the restaurant could not accommodate us because that space/table by the door entry was reserved for karaoke. More concerning, we were then told that the restaurant did not have another area that could accommodate her needs. That was extremely disappointing. A restaurant should not make a guest with mobility limitations feel as though her needs are secondary to entertainment or other reservations. We completely understand that restaurants have scheduled events and seating arrangements. However, accessibility should not be treated as an inconvenience or something that can simply be unavailable because a particular area has been reserved for karaoke. For our family, this wasn't about getting a preferred table. It was about being able to sit with our mom in a safe and appropriate place where she could participate in the experience like everyone else. We left feeling disappointed and, frankly, excluded. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and reviews how it handles accessibility requests. Friday evening, we tried Mexican Food in Monrovia. This is my first time but few times for others. It's not big restaurant and I like the seating. They also have a lady turned on music and she also sang. Menu looks interesting with pictures to help me decide the dish. I picked Mojarra (Al Mojo De Ajo). It came with orange rice, mashed baked beans, salsa, slice of avocado, and one fried fish with a bowl of garlic butter and tortillas. I think the fish is tilapia. It was delicious. A lot of chopped garlic. Good for sharing because it was a large dish. Kid ordered Cheese Burger and Fried. I ordered can of coke and it came with an ice cold glass. The place itself is a small divey bar/cantina, a super hole in the wall place with parking in the back and street parking in the front. It is easy to access though if you enter from the back you have to go down a sort of creepy open air hallway of different businesses to get to them. The price was very reasonable for Mariscos and my husband the Aguachile connoisseur actually liked them. I tasted them and the shrimp felt fresh not tough or chewy. Bam La secy Michelada.at first I didnt know what to make of this place but once we sat down everything looks legit!!! She loved it and said she never had something that was so authentic and delicious. We ordered La Guerrerense michelada and my husband ordered La Sexy michelada both delicious Husband and I both ordered an asada taco. So good!!! Crispy charred meat and tortilla was also crisp. Perfection. He also ordered quesabirria tacos con consomé and the meat was so tender to perfection. He was in love with it he said "you must have some" and I tried and it did not disappoint. It was $22 for 3 tacos but so worth it because it was so full of delicious shrimp!! My sister ordered the coctel de camaron and it was full of nice crunchy shrimp and absolutely delicious and worth ordering! Our waitress was the sweetest, but I forgot to ask for her name. Everything came out nice and cold and the michelada with a modelo negra, was a great day to wind down after a long day of meetings. We tried the Molcajete--definable shareable and it was delicious! The pork belly tacos were good too.
