Carne asada fries

Stopped here because it's right next to the park. The Lengua taco was good, but seemed a bit small for 3$. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised by the carne asada fries, the fries were crispy and hot. Freshly fried. It was loaded with nacho cheese, jalapeños and carne asada! Service was good, and it's at a great location. We ate our tacos in the trunk of our car then walked the park.

Solid taco truck in arcadia. Tortillas are soft and fluffy but holds the meat well. Cabeza is soft tender flavorful. Asada is solid as you'd expect. The al pastor comes with a slice of pineapple which gives a great sweet and savory combo. Quesadilla is overwhelmingly cheesy which tastes great but can be a bit much. Want to try the mulitas and asada fries. They give you a bunch of pickled veges and cucumbers which help cut the heaviness of the meal which I appreciate.

El Pastorcito Taco II is a food truck that I find is often by the Arcadia park. I was there on a late Saturday night, and they were serving many customers. You can park at the parking lot in which the truck is near, order, and take it to-go. I got to try the al pastor and carne asada tacos. It came in a to-go bag along with a side of radish & lime, sauces, and utensils. The portions are great, and the food was delicious all around. I have no complaints. Those were the best tacos I have had in Arcadia. Overall, this food truck is an excellent place to grab an affordable, decision meal. I'll be back for more tacos in the future.

With so many options in L.A., this taco truck stood out. We found it sort of by chance - because my wife's grandparents live about 10 minutes away - and I must say, this place was excellent. You can judge a food truck by its tacos, and these delivered: quick, fresh, and worth it. The service was great, friendly workers, and got our food fast (but still hot and fresh!). The truck sits near Santa Anita Park with plenty of parking and space, you cant miss it. I highly recommend this spot. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

My favorite is the asada tacos! The pastor is a bit stiff imo and the asada fries were too salty and cheesy for my liking. I appreciate that the truck is clean and quick! The meat isn't rubbery or too chewy, just how I like it. I look forward to visit again for my next craving! $1 charge for card, so bring cash if you want to avoid:)

Pastorcito corazon! My husband and I came by tonight to have a quick dinner from El Pastorcito Taco 2 on the way home and it was delicious. This taco truck is located on Santa Anita on the backside of the golf course, you can park in the golf course parking lot or even street parking very conveniently. I ordered 4 Al Pastor tacos (huge tacos: practically two in one for about $2.50ea) and my husband got the Alambre plate which came with 4 flour tortillas(also a huge plate for $15) we both had enough to save for later. The cashier was very friendly and offered great suggestions and said that we would love it, and he was so right! Both the red and green salsas are excellent, both with a little kick. The truck itself looks brand new with a clear view of the trompo spinning in the side window. They do charge a $1 fee for card transactions FYI. Overall it's a great spot to get tacos and we are excited to come back again a try more menu items.

Love love love this place! It's a taco truck that sits on Santa Anita, right next to the parking lot for the Santa Anita park/golf course. It's very easy to get to, and there's always plenty of parking due to the large parking lot for the park and facility center (tennis, golf, etc.). The folks that run this truck are always very friendly and patient when you are deciding what to order - but I recommend getting the Al Pastor tacos!! Generous servings, and there are grilled pineapples in the tacos -- DELICIOUS! The pricing is very affordable, especially for what you get. I saw some reviews say that the prices change, but the cost is literally written on the truck - just do the math and you'll see that they charge exactly what they say, but they DO add a surcharge if you pay with card so cash is king. I always order to go and eat when I get home in 15-20 minutes with no problem - the food is piping hot and just as fresh as if I ate it right at a restaurant. I haven't had it myself, but heard from other customers that their horchata is also great.

Came here after a night of drinking at Mt Lowes. We actually did not plan on coming here but we saw it on the way home so stopped by and I am so glad we did. Their tripe tacos are probably the best ones I have had in ages. And don't sleep on the lengua too it was amazing!

Visiting home from Seattle and happy to find a solid taco truck close by in Arcadia! It always makes me excited when taco joints serve options such as tripa and buche in addition to your typical al pastor and carne asada. As an added bonus, they even had champurrado which hit the spot on this cold fall evening (highly recommend!). Needless to say I will definitely be back again (this was our second time!). Also shout out to the guys working in the truck who were super friendly!

This is my go to taco truck located right by Arcadia Park. The service is really nice, fast, delicious, decent price and portions. My most favorite thing is grabbing food from the truck and enjoying it in the park. Would definitely recommend to try it out when you're in the area.

Delicious and fast commenting on fish tacos. Salsas were good as well. Easy to find and tons of parking, loved the hangout vibe.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. We did run into a minor snag--the kitchen printer actually ran out of paper right as our order went through, which led to a bit of a delay. However, this is where the service truly shined. Rather than leaving us wondering, the staff was incredibly transparent and apologetic. They went above and beyond to make it right, surprising us with a round of drinks and a big bowl of fresh guacamole on the house while we waited. It's rare to find a place that handles a mistake with such grace and generosity. The tacos themselves were high-quality, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. It feels great to support a small business that clearly values its customers. If you're looking for great food and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, look no further!

For tacos, I ordered 2 x Chicken ($2 each) , 2 x Asada ($2 each) , 1 x Fish Taco ($3 each) and it all tasted AMAZING! They also have a regular $16.99 special for 5 Tacos and a beer, which is a pretty awesome deal. Everything on their menu is very inexpensive and most importantly, it tastes good. I love their decor! Restaurant is also very clean. Definitely will be my weekly go to! Tacos and Papas is a 10/10!

One time I ordered 4 tacos, 1 burrito, a drink and churros and it took them longer than 25 minutes to be ready. The people who dined in that were behind me in line were served first. This defeats the purpose of takeout... also they burnt the heck out of my churros and still have them to me like that. Their employees are rude especially the girl with the fake red hair. She' s vulgar talking to coworkers instead of customers and a rude attitude. She was rude with an attitude when asked her about drink prices (not on the menu) and a question about the salsa bar . She made me feel like I was a bothering her after spending over $50 in their establishment. The way she behaves makes you think she owns the business. Another thing is that they don't listen or pay attention to your order. Both in person and for delivery they end up messing up your order. It was simple no onions on 3 tacos and they always mess up my son's food. Now I have an angry and hungry little kid on top of the experience. I keep going back because their food is good and kind of hope to have a better experience. I don't I'll go back, it's a shame but it's not worth it anymore. Gave this place many chances to support a small business but they don't reciprocate the love back. This place could be a 5 star but their employees hinder the restaurant back from being that.

Got to try all four and my fav was Asada followed by, surprisingly, pollo. Asada was just solid grilled meat, tender and chewy (which I liked), while pollo was a stewed chicken with great flavor. Usually I'm iffy on chicken since it tends to be dry, but not here. 3% transaction fee for cards. Would highly rec to check them out also on Tuesdays, where the fish taco also has a 2 for 1 deal.

The red salsa is great, the green not so much (and I usually like them the other way around). The only knock on the place is the shrine at the counter honoring Jesus Malverde, the narco-saint. Sure, you can say he was a Robin Hood of his time, and he may very well have been. But lets face facts, he has evolved as the patron saint of narcotics traffickers/dealers/and sellers. The renderings of marijuana on this particular shrine attest to his current meaning in society. So, I assume this restaurant somehow supports drugs and thus I can never return. You can decide on your own where you want to spend your money.
