The smell of the food they were cooking smelled so delicious. It was hard to not want to try the food. Sean had explained the menu to me since it was my first time going there. Joey (owner cooking on the grill) recommended sweet heat croissantwich they have that's not on the menu. A customer in line had chimed in how they had done a collab with Gooey Center cinnamon rolls and they put a maple sausage in the middle. I had ordered a few sandwiches but was only able to try the sweet heat croissantwich. This was amazing it was a crunchy yummy goodness that I can't explain. It wasn't spicy and you can taste a slight sweetness. It was the perfect bite each time. I had also ordered a hashbrown on the side. It was so crispy and it didn't need ketchup or anything else. I can't wait to come back soon to try the breakfast burger which they're known for and the S.P.E.C sandwich. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich sounded pretty popular as well. The run ended up being super fun and memorable. You have the crowd that's camped out for the rose parade cheering you on and the regular club goers and bar hoppers just out and about. I would recommend getting down to the area before 9 pm, as they close the streets off after that time and you may not get access to the parking structure and have to park far. We got there right after they closed the street to turn into the parking structure but one of the crowd control volunteers graciously let us through. As for the run, the temperature dropped but we were still warm from running, They give you an hour to complete the run and we were able to finish in under an hour. We were required to wear a wrist band that we picked up 2 days earlier in order to get wine after we completed the run. They never checked for wristbands and you could easily walk up and grab a small plastic cup with this but they gave you literally a sip of wine and nothing more. By the time we got to our car and home it was almost 3 a.m. but I had all this energy and couldn't fall asleep right away. Great way to run into the new year and get your first workout in. One last thing, we got there early enough to catch 3 floats going down the street which was cool to see up close.
