After 15 years of owning a pool water solar system the leaks were getting to be a nuisance. It's easy to fix leaks but the worry of going on vacation and having to shut down the system or risk the pool emptying out was too much worry. I went on yelp and found Sun Chasers to be highly rate. I called 1 of the owners Brandon who promptly gave me a reasonable cost to replace with new improved panels and scheduled a day about a week away. Right on time the installer Jesse showed up and he did a fantastic job. Jesse even replaced and rerouted the main plumbing on the roof that was not done right 15 years ago. I would recommend Sun Chasers to everyone wanting a good system and done right read more

Updating my review four years later and removing a couple stars for disappointing service. In July 2014, about 2 years after the panels were installed, they sprung a leak at one of the connections. Brandon came out and fixed it but he didn't cover it under warranty and charged quite a bit for the repair. I thought they should have covered it under the 3 year installation warranty. Later in 2014, I discovered that they had severed an irrigation pipe to make room for one of the footings during the initial installation back in 2012. Since the panels are in the back of my property where no one ever goes, this pipe had been gushing water for years without anyone noticing. The pipe was sawed off on either side of the footing but they never told me that they had done that during the installation. After fixing that problem myself, our total water usage went down about 30%. This cost me a lot of money. The panels remain very effective at heating the pool though. No complaints there. read more

I've been very happy with the guys at Sunchaser. They're very knowledgeable and they do work that they stand behind. When running water up to your roof you want to make sure you're working with a licensed and trained professional company to ensure that the install is done properly. And that is these guys! I've worked with Sunchaser and they know their stuff. I wouldn't trust my pool solar to anyone else! read more

Sunchaser Solar is by far THE BEST company to help me with my solar and pool needs. I have called upon their professional expertise for the past 9 years. When my pool company went bankrupt in the early stages of construction, I found and trusted Brandon to help me finish the project. I researched many contractors for the project and Brandon was by far the most competent business owner and professional I found. He installed the most challenging part of the pool: all the pool equipment and the solar panels. I have called upon Brandon and his brother Greg to work on my solar panels and pool equipment for the past nine years. I have discovered that these two men are extremely well versed in pool equipment technology, installation and repair as well as the finest with solar panel installation and repair. Do yourself a favor and call Sunchaser Solar for your pool needs. You will receive quality work at a competitive price with the best products available. If I could give one company a sixth star on YELP, I would give it to Sunchaser Solar! read more

When I bought a foreclosure recently, I inherited a solar pool system. My pool service tried to start the solar system but said there was a problem, probably a blockage in the return line. My pool service recommended Greg & Brandon at Sunchaser as honest experts that could fix my clogged solar system. Having no prior knowledge of solar systems, I felt I was prime for being taken advantage of by the solar industry and I fully expected that I would be told to replace my whole system at a major cost. I called Greg and he came out a week later. I was dreading the experience. He explained that it was unlikely that there was a blockage because items that would cause a blockage could not run through the solar panels. He was extremely nice and professional and he inspected my solar system thoroughly. He initially could not find the problem, but agreed that water was not getting from the solar panels back to the pool. He said that I might have to take the plumbing apart piece by piece to find out what the problem was. I was devastated, as I could see the cost piling up. All of a sudden he said, "Guess what I found?" "There is a valve turned fully off on the return line." He opened it up and I turned on the pump and the system started to work. I went from devastated to overjoyed instantly. He continued to review the system and changed out a couple of couplings and fixed a small leak, and the bill was minimal. He showed me why he made the changes and made sure I understood how the system worked. He showed me how to set up an automatic program and agreed to come out at my request to check the solar system every 6 months for a nominal cost. I was so incredibly happy with Greg's manner and professionalism and I will recommend Sunchaser Solar to everyone who needs a solar expert. Greg could have charged a mint and fixed things that didn't need fixing and I would not have known the difference, but he treated me like a member of the family, and I am so appreciative. read more

Sunchaser installed 12 panels - ground mount on pressure treated lumber mid June 2016. Within 2 days my pool temp went up to 90+ degree temps which made my kids and wife very happy and use the pool much more than before. It's only been about a few weeks since install, but so far I couldn't be happier. Greg has been super responsive to any questions, the installation was very clean and the system just works. Many of my neighbors already have or are getting Sunchaser solar pool heating installations as well. There are many other solar pool installers out there and I got quotes from most of them. Very happy that I went with Sunchaser as they did it right. read more

This company is fabulous!!! Very professional and thorough. I had them install our system in 2010. Then they came out in 2014 when we redid our roof to install electric solar panels. They were so careful of our new tile roof and did a great job. Recently they came out because we had a pinhole leak in one of our panels. Fixed it - no problem. It's a pleasure to recommend this great company. read more

I have got to say, Brandon at Sunchaser does a great job his crew is very professional. I will recommend them to everyone. I thank you for being so efficient and being able to squeeze us in on the same day! read more

Very responsive to our request for a quote. Price was great and timeline for installation was quick. During installation, the team was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The team provided a professional installation and we are very happy with the product and service. Would definitely recommend Sunchaser for pool solar! read more

We've been in the market for solar heating for our pool for a few years and we finally decided to move forward after a recommendation for Sunchaser by our pool caretakers. What a great recommendation! Brandon and Greg were fantastic. They did an incredible job, had great service, and our pool is getting warm! I would use them again in a second! read more

Having a pool for one year we knew we needed pool solar to prolong our swimming time. We got three quotes from 3 companies, including Sunchaser ( which was recommended by our pool guy). We are so glad we did! Greg and Brandon are the best! Greg came to my house and walked me through the entire process. He brought all the materials with him including the panels and the fastening brackets to show me how everything would work how they would be installed. He even brought a panel from a different vendor to show me the difference! Also, he was the only one that actually went on my roof! Their quote was very fair and reasonable and I really liked the communication from the owner, Brandon so we signed expecting to wait a few weeks for the install. To my delight, in just a few days I got a call from Brandon that they were ready to install AND we we're getting an additional panel for free as a promotion!!!! Next, Greg and his crew came and had our solar up and ready to go in 2 days. Here's the best part though- we were expecting to be in the pool in May but here we are in April! Swimming in 80 degree water!!!!!!!!! We are so thrilled, Sunchaser absolutely exceeded our expectations! We'll be swimming hopefully through October. Thank you so much Sunchaser!!!! read more

I had solar panels installed in 2004 and Sunchaser did a good job with installation. I'm rating low now because I have a leak in one of the panels and I've left multiple messages so that I can contact the manufacturer to warranty (Panels have a 12 year warranty). Brandon, would you please return my calls. read more

I shopped around and got quotes from 5 local pool solar companies. These guys weren't the cheapest of the 5, they were actually the 2nd cheapest, but their professionalism, knowledge and customer focused approach was what sold me on their company. They weren't pushy like some of the other companies that came out for a quote. They didn't speak to me in such a technical way that turned me off. They were respectful and patient in explaining any questions I had. The installation was pretty quick, as well as clean and efficient. I've had to follow up with them a few times because I had questions about adjusting the equipment settings after a family member fiddled with the settings and another time when the circuit breaker had to be turned off to tend to a separate household repair, but they took my call with a welcoming attitude and walked me through the adjustments. Greg even said, "call anytime. It's reassuring to know that they're available to their customers if we need advice or technical help. You won't be disappointed if you go with Sunchaser, read more

They returned my call for urgent repairs quickly and worked on my system installed by another out-of-business company on a 104 degree day. The service and professionalism was beyond comparison. I recommend this company for their expertise, dedication to outstanding service and willingness to help. Very knowledgeable. read more

We had this company come out to repair a leak in our solar system. They came out quickly and the price was on par with the other quotes I got. They "fixed" the leak, I paid and they left. When I turned the system on it was still leaking. I called the cell phone of the guy that had done the repair and told him it was still leaking. He apologized and said he would get in touch with his scheduling guy to get it fixed. This was on Friday afternoon. No call that day. I called him again on Monday and he told me they hadn't forgotten about me and that his scheduling guy would call me. I also called the main phone and left a message. No call on Monday. Tuesday I again called the main line and got no answer. It's been a week and I've yet to hear from anybody from the company. I don't mind it not being repaired the first time. Those things happen. But if you take somebody's money for work not complete and then just ignore them, that's fraud. Hopefully the owner responds on here since it doesn't look like I'll get any other kind of response. read more

What a great company to work with. My pool installer (Sundancer) recommended Sunchaser for our solar and I couldn't be happier. They were honest, down to earth, very reasonable and responsive. The solar works great. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

I would highly recommend Sunchaser Solar. We had just purchased this house, and the warranty associated with the solar system (that was installed by another company) was non-transferable. When it became apparent that we had a problem with the solar system, our pool service consultant recommended Sunchaser Solar. They quickly and efficiently diagnosed and fixed a problem we were having with our solar pool heating system. Not only did they fix the problem but Brandon and Greg were a pleasure to deal with. When you have choices on who to work with it's nice to work with people that communicate well, do what they say they'll do, and treat you fairly. read more

I was referred to Greg at Sunchaser by the contractor who installed my Pentair variable speed pool pump. I was having a few issues with the pool's solar system that I was unable to resolve by myself. I reached Greg on his mobile phone and he had me go out to the panel box, run through various settings, read him the displays, and then text him pictures of my valve settings. He probably spent at least 30 minutes with me on the phone and was able to direct me on how to resolve the issues. It was obvious to me he is extremely knowledgable about every aspect of pool solar systems. He did not charge me for a service call, even though I asked to pay him for his time. What a great guy, what a great company, and what outstanding customer service! read more

I contacted Brandon to see if he could replace my pool solar panels, as they were almost 20 years old and shedding black particles into the pool. He gave me a quote right away, and was able to schedule the repair the next day. The new panels look great! read more

I called Sunchaser Inc out to repair a couple of leaks that had sprung from my solar pool heating system that they had installed in 2005. The repair team, while evaluating my complaints, offered that the configuration of the system done that long ago was not doing an efficient job and could be improved. Jesse called the office supervisor and explained the issue and was allowed to do a renovation to make it perform at its best. They not only took care of that, they mended several roof tiles that they found, while doing the work, with spare tiles I provided. The roof has always been notoriously brittle. I would not hesitate to recommend Sunchaser Inc and their excellent service technicians Jesse and Aaron to anyone needing repairs to an existing system or a new system installed. read more

After contacting a few companies about pool solar, we chose to go with SunChasers. We were referred to them by multiple people who all said what great work they do. Initially in contact with Brandon, they were very quick at getting back to us. Greg was able to come out that weekend and answer all of our questions. After we received their bid the following Monday, we were ready to move forward with them as their price was very reasonable, and their system fit our needs perfectly. Brandon quickly responded to every email I had that week, and we had our installation set up for that Thursday. I received a phone call that morning that they were on their way, and I had them go ahead and get started without me being home. When I did arrive home about an hour later, they all stopped what they were doing to personally come introduce themselves to me. All 3 workers were possibly the most friendly workers I have ever encountered. They were all very responsive to every question I had. They walked me through exactly what they were doing for the install so I knew exactly what was going on. And they all did so with a smile on their faces. We needed some additional assistance with the other new pool equipment we had installed, and they were very willing to help us set up and figure out this equipment that wasn't even theirs. The system is up and running, and while its currently too cold outside to be of much use, I'm confident it will be perfect come next swim season! read more

I called this company on 7-14-2016 after reading the reviews here and left a voicemail asking for an appointment to repair or replace a leaking hot water solar panel at my residence. As of 7-19-2016 there was no response, so I called again, left another voice mail and also sent an email. I got an email response back that same day indicating that the company would be in touch with me "shortly." It's now 7-24-2016 and "shortly" has turned into "not at all." No response whatsoever. I'm going to call another company, since Sunchaser apparently does not want my business read more

I am very happy with the product and the installation of Ecosun Solar. The water temp is higher than previous system and it works really well. Also, Sunchaser was the best price. But reason I am giving a low rating is because Brandon would not give me the manufacturers warranty card. After 5 weeks I finally had to go the manufacturer directly to get the warranty card which spells out what is actually covered under warranty. It should be filled out by Sunchaser. The reason the warranty card is important is because I had to use the warranty on my first installation and I had to show the warranty card before the work was covered under warranty. Brandon was not truthful about providing the warranty card, saying that the manufacturer was out of them. When I contacted the manufacturer they sent me the warranty card the same day. All I needed was Brandon to complete and sign the warranty card which is a very simple form to complete compared to the installation itself. And I paid the bill in full because I trusted Brandon. I strongly urge anyone who is getting these solar panels from Sunchaser that you do not pay for it until you receive the signed and completed warranty card which should be provided to you when the panels are installed. read more
