OK, here's the deal. Dropped my Samsung Galaxy S4 in the pool. Phone would not charge. Replaced the charging port. It did not fix the charging issue and I ended up messing up the antennae. Took it to Dan. Five minutes later, he had the antennae secured properly and working. Asked him how much. He said no charge. Dude is legit. I shall go nowhere else for my phone-fixin' needs. My phone broke the screen cracked entirely and the LED light wouldnt work. I have been in this store several times over the past year. I had a screen replaced on my Samsung Galaxy 3. It was done quickly and correctly. I went in to have the inside of the glass cleaned on another phone which involved opening the entire phone up. They did that in about 20 minutes and for no charge. I stopped in another time to get advice on whether an old phone was worth repairing or not. They are happy to look at anything you bring in while you wait and they will give you an honest opinion or estimate of the repair. I broke my screen on my cell phone and took it the Sun Cellular. They fixed it with in 30 min. I was told that they wouldn't be able to put down the glue that goes between the glass and the touch screen before they did the work. They told me it would then make the sensitivity a little touchy. I didn't do my research before hand to find some place that would put down the glue. Needles to say, the screen is driving me crazy!!! Like most fellow reviewers I had a great experience recently at this place. I had the screen of my iPhone 5 bulging out. The gentleman was very friendly, explained clearly to me what the problem is and himself suggested that he would replace the battery, fix the screen back and see if it resolves the problem (unlike all the other places I have been to - who said i need to replace both my battery and screen). 15 mins later my phone was almost as good as new. They are cheaper than all other nearby stores, accepts credit card (unlike some places), provides warranty for their work and are very customer friendly. I hope I do not have to go to a repair shop soon; but if I do have an accident with my phones, laptops or tabs - Sun Cellular is the first place I will visit. read more

Sun Cellular was recommended to me by the Verizon store to fix my broken glass screen. +Big mistake+. I called on a Saturday to ask if they had my screen in stock. They didn't, I need to talk to Dan who is out until NEXT week, but he takes the orders. I first found it odd that I would need to call back, I'm the customer, they should just take my order give it to Dan themselves. Anyhow, I called on Monday , gave my order, was told it would probably be there on Tuesday. I said I wouldn't be able to actually come in until the upcoming Saturday. She said ok, and also told me they would call if there was to be a problem with getting the screen. On Friday morning, I called to check to see if the screen came in, was told no, and to check back on Saturday, after 12. (The screen was ordered on Monday (supposedly) they know I am coming on Saturday to have it fixed, so I think the screen should already be there). I never received any phone call during the week telling me the order had not come in. Ok, I call on Saturday, only to have the same person tell me I now need to call back after 1:30 to see if the screen arrives. Then he tells me that I should really talk to Dan who won't be in until NEXT week and that these screens have been backordered. That's new! Why wasn't this mentioned when I placed the order 6 days ago? And how come I keep being told that this Dan person is "unfortunately out this week, but call back next week", and why is he the only one who can take orders? He seems to be "out until NEXT week" an awful lot. No thanks, Sun Cellular! read more

I went into the store figuring I broke the glass in my galaxy S5 cell phone. He took a look at my phone, took apart my otterbox and found out that the protective plastic covering was cracked. Three strikes, you're out 1. I have lost two thirds of all my notes after a hard reset, and it had nothing to do with issue that I was having. 2. I wasted two days because I had to come back three times 3. Third time someone hit my car. I ended up going to a professional who gave me back a third of my files, the rest were gibberish. I saw the reviews and couldn't believe it, but really this is a great place to go! I wish I got the guy's name but there was only one guy there so you'll probably be alright. I had cracked my HTC Thunderbolt screen, he had it replaced in less than 30mins. On top of that he knew everything about the phone and for you techies he gave me tips on how to root it and debloat it. I want to go back just to talk more about it but he has a job to do. I can also trust them not to hook up my phone to a PC and d'load all my pictures/videos/settings/contacts, etc.. Something you guys probably don't think about but I'm sure it happens at less reputable places. Another quick story, his mailman came in to drop off a packacge and asked about a problem with his Samsung phone, one of the directional arrows wasn't working. Rather than instantly say he had to replace it he suggested he may only have to clean it, you know other places would pick the most expensive repair they could rather than the right repair. read more

I went in to have my charging port repaired. After explaining the problem, he took a look at it and saw it was a simple solder fix. He did it, charged me half of what the competitors quoted me and was done in 20 minutes. Reasonable and good customer service. My sun cracked the screen to his iPod Touch. When my son called he was quoted a price and said it would take 30-40 minutes. I called to confirm and was quoted the same. Dropped my iPhone5 while out walking the dog this morning, unfortunately it went glass down on some gravel and that was that. I googled phone glass repair places in Phoenix and was referred to Sun Cellular. Called them up and Alex answered, yep we can do that ~ do you want just the glass replaced or the whole front, replacing the whole front costs a little more but the labor is less and so it ends up being the cheaper option. I said great let's do that, I drive down and was in and out in around 15 mins. Alex was great, he was knowledgeable on many phones and answered all my questions and had great customer service and told me to keep an eye on it and if anything should look strange hold onto my receipt so that he could warranty the work. These guys use OEM replacement parts too so less of there being issues. Great job Alex I was only without the phone for 15 mins, you rock! read more
