While walking to another store in North Phoenix I saw Gen Tech. I had just bought a new laptop and needed programs and apps installed. I tried this myself in the past but as a senior citizen it was a nightmare. Not only did Gen Tech have it up and running in less than an hour they also checked my older lap top for any malware. These are tech professionals who know what they are doing and very pleasant to deal with. The price was very fair and they saved me an awful lot of grief. Very much recommend them. What made it even better there was no upselling or trying to tie me into one of those "service contracts." This place is a real hidden gem. read more

We have used GenTech several times for updating our computer, a thorough computer cleaning and great assistance for other issues. Our service tech took the time to check everything and explain issues. Answers all questions. Assistance can be done in home or device taken into the office. To tell the truth--This joint is IMPRESSIVE! It's a computer assistance business model you will love. I am celebrating how smart I was for finding this resource for computer help of all types. Well, actually, I found it by a Google search when I got fed up with a computer function that had frustrated me for over a year. I knew that I didn't want to wait in line or wait days for the help I needed, and I knew I didn't want anyone to come to my home. I knew I didn't want to leave my computer anywhere--I have work to do! Night before last I found GenTech on Google. I was able to make an online appointment for the next day at a convenient time. My assigned technician (Title?) was ready when I arrived at the clean, modern, and easy-to-find location. The problem I had was, as I already knew, very complicated. Thirty (30) minutes later my problem, plus several I didn't even know I had, was solved! My only regret was that I had spent hours upon hours trying to fix the problem by myself. Wonderful group of young folks who are very knowledgeable about computers, ipads and iphones. When I tried to upgrade to the latest ios release of 18 and got 26 instead I was lost. They untangled my user experience and also helped me with a way to avoid ads on youtube until my adblocker caught up! Highly recommen. read more

This place is a life saver!! My computer bag fell out of the trunk when I arrived at a resort on vacation and I had no idea that the screen got damaged. When I returned, I took it in immediately and they had it replaced in a week. In the meantime, I had an old laptop that they were able to replicate the one that was out of commission so I could still work that week until it was repaired. A year later I'm back with another issue. They set me up with a loaner monitor and keyboard so I can still work while they are waiting on the part to come in. The owner has a great staff. She really cares for her employees and it shows. Michael is wonderful. He goes out of his way to make sure you are taken care of as quickly and efficiently as possible. This place is a hidden gem. So far I've only used them for laptop repairs, but I think my next move will be help in setting up my home office with multiple screens (something I've been wanting to do but don't feel like I know enough to do on my own). read more

This review is in regards to their professional development services at the school level. First, let me start by saying Eric C. is a GREAT facilitator. Engaging and very knowledgeable. You wouldn't know it though. CEO Debbie Kovesdy would not let him talk. She interrupted him non-stop. To the point where our entire staff started speaking up asking to let him continue with his sentence. She was rude and began the professional development by making fun of our teachers and campus then on the bit.ly link spelled our school name wrong and couldn't get her technology to work. It gets better. At one point she went behind a teacher, put her hands on the teachers shoulders (startling the teacher) then Debbie SHOOK THE TEACHER. The teacher recoiled and was visibly upset by the aggressive nature of the CEO. She went around the room making side comments to almost everyone in the room that collectively felt attacked by her. I do NOT recommend this person to facilitate professional development. She was brash, rude, BORING, and argumentative (argued with our Principal over educational hours in a school year). Made all of us VERY upset and uncomfortable. It got so bad, the entire staff stopped answering or engaging with her. Once Eric took the stage we all participated and were engaged. Back to Eric C. Smart, engaging, relevant, and funny. He would have made the PD tons of fun and we would have learned a lot. Instead we sat there physically and verbally assaulted and ridiculed. The CEO needs to sit at her desk where she belongs and let the people she hired (who are experts in their field) do the job that they were hired to do. read more

Love, love this place!. Been using them for 4 or 5 years now.They are always saving me time and money. When my old computer wasn't working they put in a solid state drive for such a great price. Another visit, they soldered a connection on a computer and cleaned up the hard drive. Now I have a back up laptop. They updated drivers, cleaned out a few files and made my main laptop work so much faster AND they explain things to me so that I can work more efficiently. They get to my repair quickly and are more reasonable than the 2 large computer repair companies I would give them 100's of stars if I could!!!!! read more

After going to two different Best Buys I remembered GenTech found there new location Best Buys could not solve my issue two diffetent locations. At The GebTech I was greeted by the manager Dalton I explained my issue and immediately gave me peace of mind telling me he could correct the issue.He went out of his way correcting the problem.
