Absolutely exceptional food and excellent service. We went back again for lunch before we left town. A hidden gem in Moab.

I've eaten a lot of mediterranean food over the years and I have to say, this place was at the top. We had Gyro sandwiches with a side of rice along with chicken kabobs. The Gyro meat & chicken was very tender and flavorful. The pita bread they came with was probably the best I've had, very soft. I also felt like the food was not overpriced like many of the places in this town. I would highly recommend this place. We had just finished a great hike at Corona Arch and were hungry, but knew we had dinner reservations in just a few hours so were looking for something light, but delicious, to eat. My friend recommended Sultan for some appetizers, and I'm so happy she did. They have a very extensive list of both cold & hot appetizers, all of which sounded delicious and made it hard to choose. We settled on the Spicy Hummus, Babaganoush, Falafel, and Angry Cali (friend cauliflower) - a bit more than we needed for a "light snack" but absolutely no regrets here. I thought everything tasted amazingly fresh and yummy, though my two favorites were the baba and the Angry Cali. The hummus/baba also came with an ample amount of pita bread - two full baskets. Our server was so friendly and accommodating. The space is nothing fancy, but feels homey and welcoming. This was by far one of the best places we've eaten at in Moab, and I will definitely make it back here during our next visit! read more

The food was so DELICIOUS! The entree came with large portions, sides and a salad. The food had such distinct and rich flavors. We ordered the Baklava, which is homemade, and has pistachios which I love. It wasn't gooey or mushy like Greek baklava tends to be. It's hard to find good restaurants near National Parks, but this is a decent place, especially if you want food that's not American. The ambiance felt pretty busy, but the service was really quick. We tried the gyro platter ($18), which had good flavor overall, but the beef was a bit dry. I got the stuffed eggplant ($17), which was soaked in a pool of oil and had a bit too much Parmesan on top. Best meal we had in Moab, no better meal after a day of hiking in Arches - this is a sentiment shared by many other reviewers apparently! We arrived around 7-7:30, right before a huge rush. Plenty of parking in the front and out back. Surprisingly large space. Spicy hummus and babaghanoush were great, with what seems like unlimited pita (within reason). Skip the calamari, comes with a thick breading that all came apart with each bite. That was my only complaint. Chicken and lamb kebabs were amazing. We got a side of chicken shawarma, meat only. Trust me, it will be the best $4 you've ever spent. All meats were tender, smoky and perfectly cooked, nothing overdone. Food served surprisingly quickly despite being very busy. We felt slightly rushed at the end bc of people waiting, but still plenty of service, water refills throughout. Ask for hot sauce if you're a spice lover, it won't disappoint.. and isn't given automatically. read more

Amazing food and great service. The restaurant is busy but very cozy. Everything we had was extremely good.

The service was fast and friendly! We started with a side of spicy hummus with fresh mini naan. I've never had homemade hummus and it tastes very similar to store bought. Between the falafel pita and gyro pita they were both delicious but the gyro pita is a bigger portion size! They load it up with gyro compared to the three pieces of falafels. Equally delicious and we were both full after. Gyro was very melt in your mouth and falafel didn't leave a greasy taste. read more

The food is very good. We had the chicken kabob platter. Chicken was tender and flavorful and the sauce that came with it was very good too. Salad was light and went well with the chicken. Their fries are seasoned well. grilled veggies were also good. The best thing we ordered was the Tuscan shrimp. The sauce on that was really good. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is the service could be better. Took a long time for us to give our order - we had to flag someone down. Then when the food came, no one asked us if we needed anything or if everything was ok. Could be improved definitely. read more

We had 4 adults and 2 children and the food fit all our tastes! Service was great and friendly and quick. The atmosphere was very nice - clean - and a Mediterranean environment. We felt welcomed. Food was good and we got to try a variety of Mediterranean food with both appetizers and main meal. Ate here on our first night in Moab and boy are we glad we did! Everyone we encountered had great smiles and service was wonderful- super fast and efficient! The food was so delicious and fresh! We ordered the chicken shawarma plate and the eggplant Parmesan and both were so good! Portions were great too. Ordered the baklava and it came out hot and yummy! Fantastic food!! Wowza! My partner, our friends and I spent the day at Arches National Park and had built up a large appetite when it came time for dinner. Half of our group is vegetarian, so we were happy to find this place as they had many vegetarian options. We all shared the spicy hummus, falafel and za'atar pita bread - ALL of which were delicious!! I ordered the Oregano Greek Salad which was similar to a traditional Greek salad and was very tasty. My partner ordered the falafel sandwich with truffle fries as the side - he added some garlic Mayo to dip the fries into and I ate most of them Those fries with that Mayo were a deliciously unstoppable combo!! After a long day of driving, we stopped by Sultan on our way to our AirBnB. We're SO glad we did. This might be the best meal we ate in our short trip to Moab. The appetizer plate we ordered included hummus, grape leaves, and babaganoush with a side of pita. Absolutely incredible. Personally, the babaganoush was my favorite, with the smoky flavoring of the eggplant really shining. Since I was in desperate need to stuff my face further, I ordered the Sultan kabab plate. OMG. The flavoring of the beef and lamb skewers was incredible, and combined with the basmati race, grilled tomato and pepper (the pepper isn't spicy fyi) and salad made it the perfect Mediterranean meal. I didn't eat here the last time I was in Moab, and I definitely regret it! The food here is fantastic! The owners are from Jordan, and as a fellow half-Jordanian, I have to give them lots of credit for their flavors. The service was also fast and friendly - our waiter gave us amazing hiking tips for the next day! I ended up ordering the Beef Shish, which was very tender and perfectly cooked. I love Mediterranean food So we went after a tired day of hiking, and were a little disappointed that they don't have liquor, but figured if we felt deprived after dinner we could always stop somewhere on the way back. Ambience? You can see they've tried, but the attempts are a bit cheesy. Don't go for the ambience. Food? I was very happy with my chicken swish-kebab. It was grilled perfectly and very nicely spiced, and came with a salad and fries. My husband ordered the stuffed eggplant but did not like it. I tasted it, and found it fine. So that was subjective. Service was excellent. My conclusion is that if you like swish kebab, this is your place. It's really very economical, considering all that you get for under $20. read more

The female server was very nice but when it came time to pay (by credit card), a male employee (manager?) came over with the credit card machine and it just showed the total. Chicken shawarma was perfect combo of crisp and tender. Served with tahini, a fresh salad, and seasoned shoestring fries. The sultan kebab was def the star of the show. It was a mix of beef and lamb - super super tender with just the right blend of spices. Served with a side of salad, a grilled green pepper, and a mount of rice. Food was ok. But not a kid friendly restaurant - they gave my hungry nine year old, a super hot meat skewer with his kabob and told him not to touch it. He tried to eat the kabob and burnt his finger and is still recovering a day later. My other kid is allergic to nuts - despite telling them ahead of time, he still had an allergic reaction from a sauce in the food. To top it off, they tried to double charge us on tips - They put a service fee of 18% in the bill and tried to charge an additional tip of 18% to 30% on top of it .. I found out only because I went through the bill line by line because something did not make sense . Overall, we had a very bad experience. Nice, small dining place and unfortunately, no outdoor seating. Started with their calamari. No tentacles at all and we felt it had too much batter, but that's where the flavor was stored. Still would have preferred less batter and more tentacles. Luckily, the main course carried the weight as the Mediterranean steak was so flavorful, well marinated and very well seasoned. The creamy spinach was really enjoyable. Wifey had the roasted artichoke salad. Never had artichoke before and it was also very flavorful. Very filling. Super fast service! The place was decorated very well for the theme/culture. The purple and blue window treatments were cute! Even the dishes matched! I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the food. I ordered the chicken schwarma sandwich (pita) and a side Greek salad.
