My husband and I came here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Once sat at our table, we were greeted by I believe the manager who had such a warm presence. Our server, Jairo was STELLAR, for our whole experience. He introduced himself, suggested some orange infused martini (which was amazing by the way), and then brought out a sparkling water. We started off with shrimp cocktail, and then got our main course: Bone in Ribeye Cowboy cut, lobster Mac and cheese, and Asparagus. Food was AMAZING. Steak was sliced and cooked perfectly . My daughter gave us a gift card for Sullivan's and we decided to use it last night. I was a $50 gift card. I knew that we would end up spending a lot more even though we don't drink alcohol so we went and we started off with the salad, which is a big chunk of lettuce that comes with the crumbles of blue cheese and the blue cheese dressing, which we got on the side because my wife uses that stuff but I don't. I asked for thousand island and they don't carry that they brought me out some other dressing. The chef made that was terrific. It kind of tasted like thousand Island and they brought me out bacon burnt to put on it, which was great and of course tomatoes we finished the salad and moved onto the brick chicken with spinach instead of mashed potatoes. We also ordered a side of their sweet potato casserole. Everything was great. I can't tell you how good everything was and then we ordered a piece of pie the Keylime and coffee and our server whose name was Charlie or Charles was terrific. He took care of everything. He even packed out to go stuff for us so this is an easy five star restaurant. Been there before and gave it five stars and it hasn't gotten any worse. Everything is terrific. The business lunch deal ($29) comes with an appetizer, entree and side, which is a great deal. Ordered the lobster bisque, Delmonico steak (8oz) and Brussels sprouts. The bisque soup was flavorful and tasty. Steak was cooked well, but a bit oily. I thought the brussel sprouts would be a healthier option, but they chop it like a salad and there's a healthy serving of bacon and dressing. Prime rib sandwich: Sandwich was tasty and fries were super crispy. I wish the horseradish was stronger though. Our server, Melyssa was fantastic and attentive, despite having to manage many tables. We had a very disappointing and embarrassing experience at this restaurant. We scanned the restaurant's QR code to pay our bill and completed the payment using Apple Pay. Despite this, we were accused of not paying our bill. Being confronted and made to feel uncomfortable, especially when we had simply used the payment method the restaurant itself provided. If a restaurant offers QR-code and Apple Pay payment options, the staff should have a reliable way to verify those transactions before accusing customers of not paying. What was an enjoyable meal ended on a very negative note. I hope the General Manager addresses this with their staff so other paying customers aren't put through the same embarrassing experience. read more

We headed over to Sullivan's on January 1st - a great way to start the year, you know? A steakhouse we'd never been to, but heard good things about. So -- first impression? They were busy. We checked in; waited 3 minutes, and were seated promptly. Ambience was absolutely in the realm of Morton's, Mastro's etc- which is to say? Pretty classic for the most part. The water and bread (delicious bread, I might add) came quickly. We ordered some pinot noir - our waiter poured with an amazing flourish - I had to ask him if it was a Sullivan's take? Or his? It was his! I was impressed. Ok- we ordered Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and each of us ordered a cup of shrimp and lobster bisque. The shrimp cocktail was delish- but the shrimp - while good- wasn't "quite" as jumbo as we'd hoped. Still - the cocktail sauce was spot on and very nice. The bisque? A bit spicy- and in a very good way. Definitely enjoyed it. I ordered a 6oz filet mignon, well done, while hubby ordered a 12 oz ribeye- medium. Both were spot on as well- I ordered mine Oscar style, which gave me a generous "splat" of lump crab on top - really enjoyable. Our side was sweet potatoes- mashed and wonderfully spiced. It seriously brought back memories- good ones. No dessert, though- we were simply too full! Final verdict - On Point. Perfect place to celebrate a birthday! We made reservations and were seated right away. We lucked out finding a parking spot up front but there is also a valet around the corner. Our server, Evan, was excellent at providing recommendations and explaining the menu. I ordered the blueberry lemon drop martini which was sweet, refreshing, and pretty (bonus: the rim was also coated)! The meal started with some complimentary bread which was so soft and fresh. We also ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls per Evan's recommendation and they did not disappoint (pro tip: dip the leftover bread in the egg roll sauce). For our meal we split the ribeye cowboy and crab fried rice. The ribeye was SO tender! It was plenty of food for two people. For the birthday boy, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert. We had a few options but he chose the strawberry cheesecake. The cheesecake was pretty dense and the homemade whip cream was something no words can describe. The steak is always cooked to perfection, the crab-stuffed shrimp is absolutely amazing, and we can't forget to mention the delicious cauliflower appetizer. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service, especially from Michael, the manager. He goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome, and he genuinely cares that everyone has a great experience. His leadership is obvious, and it's a big reason we keep coming back. Really a 3.5. we moved out of the area and were back in town so hit one of our favorites. Steaks and drinks were great. No issues there. Risotto was a bit bland but ok overall. Just needed some sort of spice. Carrot cake wa really good. Creme Brulee was not great. It was supposed to be vanilla but it was infused with St Germain. This overpowered the vanilla. Server didn't know it wasn't really vanilla. Given we ate almost none of it she probably should have taken it off the bill. It was not what she said it was. Straight off I want to say that Lana provided an amazing experience for my daughter and I. Fantastic service. The ambiance of this place was good. We were seated off the bar in a little patio kind of area. In the summer, I imagine it's pretty nice to have the windows open. The other reviews for this place are absolutely spot on in particular- when it comes to how the steak is cooked. The appetizers were our favorite part of the meal, we had the pork belly (amazing!) and the calamari had a great kick! The steaks. My daughter and I both ordered our steak medium rare. Her came out medium well and mine came out half medium well and half well done. She sent hers back and got another one, I didn't because it was still good. In retrospect I think I should have reverted to ordering it a little under what I wanted since i hadn't been there before. We both had mashed potatoes, those were good. And for dessert, she got banana foster. Probably won't return as for the price there, and all the meals I saw even around us getting sent back - a little red flaggy for my liking. The steak was very delicious, however, no sides came with the meal. I believe the food is slightly overpriced as ordering a simple side would cost an extra $8-$12. On the other hand, we were given a complimentary slice of raspberry cake, with letters that spelled out 'Happy Anniversary'. The little touch is what made the place seemingly more special. Lastly, and my favorite, the ambience. To make up for the expensive meals, the experience was incredible. The inside of the restaurant was very fancy and dimlit, with fresh rose petals sprinkled on the tables. At no cost, we were able to get our picture taken and printed, which I thought was an incredible experience for a restaurant. Overall, I would recommend dining here at least once. Everything about this steakhouse was amazing. The service was top tier. I wish we got our waiter's name so I could give him a shoutout because he was perfect! He was attentive and professional and very knowledgeable on the menu. There were literally no flaws in his service. The food was delicious. We ordered the seared ahi tuna for our appetizer- highly recommend! The sauce served with it compliments the tuna really well and has a spicy kick. All of their appetizers sounded so good! As for the steaks, they offer a great variety in different sizes. I was contemplating either an 8oz or 12oz cut. I ended up ordering the 8oz NY strip well-done (I know that irks some people haha) and it was truly cooked well-done. Some places don't cook it all the way through because I'll find it pink in the middle. Not here. It was just how I like it! My boyfriend ordered his steak medium and it was perfect. The food runner asked him to cut into it to make sure it was cooked to his liking before she walked away. The garlic mashed potatoes, french fries, and potatoes au gratin were also a big hit. Everything had so much flavor! FYI - French fries weren't on the menu so we asked if they could make them and they had no problem doing so. The atmosphere was relaxing and elegant. They have a bar area when you walk in that has a more upbeat atmosphere, which would be fun if you wanted to have a few drinks before dinner. A little tight for us to navigate around tables. Our party ordered the business lunch specials. A great deal for $26-starter (salad or soup) main and a side. I had a delicious salmon with Brussels sprouts. The salmon was pretty salty-but tasty. Two in our party had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. They said it was tasty but not spicy at all. The peanut butter pie!! Start with the end in mind and work backward - it's worth it! The service was good and prompt. The bread service included a large baguette of sourdough with whipped butter. Delicious. We had no starters and instead went directly to the main course. My sea bass was cooked to perfection. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the lobster tail appetizer which was cooked tempura style. The soy glaze and wasabi sauces paired so well with the lobster. For main course we ordered the super tender lamb chops and the flavorful scallops and a side of the lobster mash. Again all super yummy. I love how the restaurant goes above and beyond to celebrate birthdays, with a hand written birthday card and a complimentary photo. First being the blonde hostess that greeted us and seated us was less than welcoming, seemed like we were a bit of a bother. Definately not a good start. The other reason was the women's bathroom. So old and outdated but also not clean at all. Although these things had nothing to do with the service or the food, they do count. For Valentines Day this year we chose to go off the beaten path and head to Naperville to Sullivan's for a nice night out. Parking available right out front and once you enter you'll be exposed to the wall of awards and accolades they've earned in the past few years. We were seating in the dining room whose ambiance influenced our decision to choose it as our romantic dining location, and greeted and served by a long-time employee who demonstrated his love for the place by giving us great service. Custom cocktails were available but only as a complement to the elevated wine selection they've curated. Very impressive, very delicious. We followed some good advise tried the steak egg rolls and they did not disappoint. Excellent, made with remnants of the best steaks around. Now the steaks we ordered were top-notch; best ones we've had all year. Hers was the Cajun Riley FULL of flavor requiring no add-ons, mine was a strip steaks with garlic butters that was more than I could have hoped for. Juicy, great quality, terrific flavor... they've earned their awards. Between a 4 and a 5 for me. My husband and I were given a gift card for here and finally had a chance to check it out. Per their Facebook page, they are supposed to have a Tuesday night special. However, due to holiday season, the special is on hold. However, they still have a 3 item price fixe menu. I decided to go with the caeser salad, filet, and cheesecake. Salad had a lot of dressing on it. Steak came with mashed potatoes and both were delicious. I upgraded the filet which came with a $15 upcharge. Cheesecake had fresh strawberry glaze. Service from Staci was great. She was very attentive during the meal. It did feel a little strange that none of the hostesses at the front said goodbye on the way out. They also offer a happy hour Monday thru Thursdays in their bar area. I would return to check it out as well. Parking can be a little tight over here. Rating: 3.5 stars I came here with a group of four at 12 PM on a Sunday. The restaurant was fairly empty, there was only one other table in the dinning area for the whole time we were eating but that may also be because it was snowing at that time. The hostess who greeted us at the front of the restaurant was not very friendly unfortunately which left a bad first impression. They started with water for us. We asked for warm water and the teacup they gave me was pretty dirty so I asked for a new cup which they wiped clean but it left a really bad aftertaste on the cup so not sure what kind of old cloth or rag they used to wipe it with. Needless to say I did not drink any water out of that cup after. Our server was great throughout the meal. They also did switch out our plates throughout the meal which was nice; however, the guy who did it (not our usual server) left lots of oily finger prints all over the plate which was kinda gross. To start we ordered: TABLESIDE BLT SALAD: Flavor was great and was well dressed and filled with ingredients. Definitely a nice starter option. CRISPY SHANGHAI CALAMARI: Calamari was very well fried and a great flavor. The Thai sweet chili was an interesting choice of sauce but would have been better if it was on the side because it was a bit over dressed. For my main I ordered a CRAB CAKE SANDWICH and a side of FRENCH ONION SOUP. The sandwich was nice, the crab cakes were perfect. I did wish the veggies it came with were in more of a tossed slaw style though. It just seemed like they threw some raw veggies together on the sandwich. The brioche bun it came on did tie everything together well though. Soft and warm toasted bun! The Parmesan fries it came with were delicious and perfectly fried! Additionally the cup of French onion soup it came with was huge! Great flavor and not too oily. We also had some bread on the side. The bread was warm and the whipped butter it came with was delicious. All in all, though there was some cleanliness issues throughout the meal other parts of it were nice and allowed us to have a nice lunch. read more

I've heard nothing but great things about Sullivan's. My partner and I decided to make a reservation for a date night. The restaurant was very elegant and clean. A bit packed while we were there. We were a bit frustrated that we had a reservation for 8pm and did not get seated until 8:25pm. We just stood by the front door until someone came to walk us over. Once seated we were greeted and brought water/bread immediately. I ordered an espresso martini. The issue being the martini had a ton of ice chips floating around. My partner ordered crab legs and I had a steak (medium well). Our food took about 40 mins plus and when brought to the table it was lobster tails and a very well done completely brown tough steak. At this point we are already over an hour in and do not care to stay longer for a remake. The manager did correct the lobster and brought out crab legs about 15 minutes later and told us to keep a lobster tail. The crab legs were a good size and delicious. I however do not recommend the crab fried rice, it was cold and very underwhelming. I would only recommend the sushi roll and the banana foster bread pudding. Those were incredible! We spent over $300 and for the price of everything I would've expected much better quality food, drinks and overall experience. read more

Called as soon as opened and the girl that answered phone was very sweet and empathetic but when manager got on phone he was rude and defensive said hr will be contacting me, still waiting and would not give me any other number.
