Eddie Merlot's - Thanksgiving Surprise of the Year When I made our Thanksgiving reservations, my expectations were somewhere between "meh" and "we'll survive." I wasn't hoping for magic, just something edible and a chair to sit on. So imagine my surprise when Eddie Merlot's delivered an experience that felt like Thanksgiving had put on its fancy shoes and decided to show off. The décor was glowing, the whole place humming with warmth, and the staff made us feel like honored guests rather than strays seeking refuge from kitchen duty. Our server, Cordell, was genuinely wonderful, attentive, friendly, and blessedly unhurried. He gave us space to enjoy the meal without hovering like a helicopter on mashed-potato patrol. And the food? Oh yes. The King Crab & Corn Bisque was velvety and rich. The roasted garlic mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole tasted like someone's very proud grandmother was working behind the scenes. The turkey was moist, tender, and actually flavorful (a Thanksgiving miracle). The asparagus and green beans were vibrant, crisp, and clearly not boiled into oblivion. We ended with the triple chocolate cake, which would've reached full glory with a little warmth and a scoop of ice cream or cream, but hey, we took the leftovers home and showed it the respect it deserved. For the record, they mix an outstanding Negroni, and the wine list means business. We walked in with low expectations and walked out happily stunned. We'll absolutely be back, holiday or not.

I had a great dinner at Eddie Merlot's. I got there early for happy hour and enjoyed some lollipop chops on the happy hour menu. They were cooked well and tasted great. For dinner I had the ribeye which was also cooked to my liking and was delicious. Had a great bartender who took great care of me and the decor is modern and inviting. You won't be disappointed, give them a try. Enjoy!!!

A long time establishment, Eddie Merlot's feels like an extravagant old timey spot. The main dining room is pretty, and they have a live guitarist on Thurs/Fridays! I came with family to use up a gift card from Costco (25% off the meal) and had a great time with our server. We ordered: - 6 raw oysters (3/5): For almost $4 per piece, these were large in size but didn't seem super fresh. The meat was kinda all messy and we had to get a replacement oyster for 1 since there was a weird mass inside. The kitchen graciously gave us 2! - Calamari (4.5/5): Liked this! Fresh and had lots of peppers inside as well. - 8oz Filet Mignon (5/5): This was cooked perfectly, and was super tender and flavorful. - Ahi Tuna (4/5): Surprised by this one! The tuna was an interesting color, but flavor was good and yummy. There was free bread (not a fan, it tasted kind of plastic-y), and the total came out to about $150 total. I'd come back again with the gift card discount for the steak!! Our server was lovely, always getting us anything we asked!

Came on Valentine's Day, sat in a timely order, our server was very nice and helpful. The ambiance was nice a little dark but I don't mind. Got the pot stickers, there were good but also nothing to write home about. The filet trio and lamb chops were absolutely amazing though. Lamb melted in your mouth. And the peppercorn sauce was delicious. The sides same thing not great for 12-14 bucks each. Skip sides. And the dessert for 20 bucks wasn't good

I'm surprised this was my first visit to this location and I'll definitely be back! My wife treated me to a Prisoner (her favorite) wine dinner on my birthday and we had a great time. The pairings were excellent, and the food was quite good. I'll say the portions weren't large, which for a tasting/pairing is just fine-sometimes you're having to pack up 1 or more courses to take home. I'd recommend going to such an event in the future. The absolute best thing I ate was the Nutella Creme Brulee-wow!

Great food and service. Cordell, our server, was top notch. The place is noisy, not sure how to deal with this.

After a long week I decided to treat myself to Eddie Merlots. I was greeted and then escorted to a perfect table in the bar area. I started the evening off with a glass of red wine and a crisp garden salad. Now, I don't often order salmon at restaurants; but, I had a craving for it last night and Eddie Merlots is the place to get it. Blackened salmon cooked medium to perfection with a flavorful blackened crust, al dente haricots verts, and fingerling potatoes. Oh, and if you haven't tried their creamed spinach don't miss it. Parish and Dakota were on point for the evening as my distinguished servers. Frank, the manager made sure to make rounds, greeting customers and making sure the evening was perfect. Live music by John an amazing guitarist is a great touch. Thank you gentleman for ending my week with a perfect night of relaxation.

Creamy and delicious. You'll want to save some of the sourdough bread to dip in.

Did you know? I didn't know. I thought it was just a streak house located near a bowling alley. When I glanced at the menu I realized it wasn't A steakhouse it was The steakhouse. The NY strip steak I had was perfectly cooked and seasoned but what got me was the texture and tenderness. The hubby got the Australian Wagyu ribeye MS7/8. It had an amazing flavor but I thought mine was more tender. Of course we ordered a wedge salad. It's a steakhouse, you have to get the wedge. But what I want to point out is that even the tomatoes were seasoned. These details showed up in the other dishes as well as the service. The sweet potato casserole had a dusting of pecans on top that enhanced the flavor without adding chunks to a beautiful smooth puree. The chocolate cake had a bit of espresso frosting drizzled on top. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness of a chef who wants to see that every bite is special. Sarah was our waitress. She was so helpful and attentive. When you go in, ask if she's there and request one of her tables. She'll make sure you have a delicious and enjoyable meal. Our thanks goes to her for making our night memorable and fun. They also have live music. The gentleman playing the guitar told us he's been playing there for 12 years. He's beyond talented. He wove together a variety of pieces of songs that in between conversation and bites we'd say to each other, was that the Flintstones theme song and Come On Eileen? He was also playing some of the best flamenco music. They definitely earned all the stars and our repeat business. See you soon Sarah. We'll be back for that crème brûlée.

Came to Eddie Merlot's for NYE dinner. Our server Felipe was wonderful and the chicken I got was juicy and delicious! My favorite part was the bananas foster. Would come back again!

This place was great! We had a group meeting that ran late so we stopped here for dinner. I am very happy we did! The restaurant is beautiful! The servers were professional and helpful. The food was delicious. Some of the sides are pretty large so you can share. We all enjoyed ourselves and had no regrets. Visit this place and enjoy some very good steaks or seafood.

The green and gold combo is nice, and there seems to be some sparkle in the wall paint. Even the menus look nice. However, the first two items we ordered (chicken pot pie and chicken risotto balls) were unavailable. We ordered a pepper steak empanada, tandoori paneer pizza puff, chicken nuggets, a cappuccino, and a teddy hug latte. The food was served in nice plates with wooden forks and knives, which was a unique touch. Unfortunately, and oddly, I received a chicken pot pie empanada instead of pepper steak, but it was tasty, as was the included sauce. My wife found the pizza puffs to be bland, but I thought it was okay, although marinara sauce didn't really complement it. The chicken nuggets were few and didn't contain much chicken, but the fries were decent. The cappuccino wasn't great; it had a burnt flavor to it. Maybe the beans were over-roasted, or the water used was too hot. My wife found the teddy hug latte to lack graham cracker flavor; she said it just tasted like coffee and creamer. Service was excellent and pricing was reasonable, but the food and drinks were disappointing.

We were actually running a bit behind, so my wife called and informed the front desk, and they made accommodations for us. We ordered the Over The Border Egg Rolls as a starter. They were nice and crispy, full of flavor and tasty. They were however, right on the cusp of being salty. We all felt that way, which kind of sucked, but mind you, we all don't really eat a lot of salt, so how palates are a bit different from others. They were still good though. For dinner, I had the Tim's Favorite Chicken Giardiniera and my wife had Gnocchi Butternut Squash and my mother in-law had the Pistachio Crusted Grouper. My wish was pretty freakin good. I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. The chicken was pretty thin and crisp but not dry at all! The giardiniera add the right amount of heat, spice and brightness to the dish. The cheese played well in the background and the mash potatoes were nice and smooth. I wish they had a bit more wasabi flavor though. My wife and mother-in's food was also pretty good. I think we all took home left-overs! A- -Gone.......

They offer their main menu as well as some lunch specific options that are smaller in portion for a better price. My group started with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts which were absolutely delicious. The brussel sprouts were crispy and paired with a fresh mint sauce and light space sauce; neither were overwhelming. For entrees, most got the Gnocchi with Roasted Butternut Squash while I got the Gnocchi Alla Vodka. I loved mine for being a classic dish with creamy sauce, crumbled sausage, and pillowy gnocchi. The other dish was perfect for a spring day as it was lighter in flavor, vegetable forward, and less heavy. I was a little bummed that our table never got the complimentary pretzel bun that seemed like every other table got. Our server was very sweet and kept on top of refilling our waters. She made some food suggestions but most items were off the regular menu and not the lunch menu. Pricing overall was a bit expensive even for lunch but portions were large. Overall, this was a great spot to enjoy the company of my coworkers and enjoy some good bites.

The interior was smartly outfitted - the lighting, the ceilings, the walls, were all classy and nicely done. Service was outstanding - water and soft drink glasses were refilled regularly, and the table checked for food quality on multiple occasions. I was intrigued by their Prime Rib Sandwich, which is served with onion crisps. I went for the $4 upgrade to Truffle Fries. The sandwich was LARGE, very tasty, and just plain wonderful to eat. The Truffle Fries added a bit of spice to the meal. My wife had their Fish & Chips. Ambience was fine, not overly impressive, we could hear the expediter and the kitchen. Service seemed average, waitress was friendly but not overly attentive, especially with how few tables they had at the time. Had a mocktail that was so nondescript as to be completely unmemorable. Coffee was good, just hard to get enough refills. Potato-leek soup with chili oil drops resembled thin baby food, and was so tasteless, we had to request salt and pepper. They didn't even have salt and pepper shakers; it came in small tumblers. The Beef Wellington from the prix fixe menu was smaller than expected for the price. The beef was fine but was more like a filet than a beef tenderloin. The mushroom coating was far too earthy and tasted a little bit like dirt. The pastry was kind of raw on the inside. The sides that came with the Beef Wellington were a schmeer of mashed potatoes - which were okay - and a tiny pile of steamed carrots and leeks. The chocolate tart was good, but not incredible. Did not live up to the hype or the "Ramsey Reputation;" will probably not return. Overall experience - kind of "meh."
