Old fashion and Arnold Palmer

Conflicting. The food l, drink, and service are very good. The theme hmm... like Hooters and we were not expecting that as it is our first time here. Decided to have lunch between Oncologist appointment and movie time "Sounds of Freedom", and the blackened fish tacos in Yelp called our attention. Fish tacos hit the spot, tasty with a little kick and generous portion. My old fashion was really good, I always appreciate one golfball size clear ice that melts very slowly. It is Bikini week last day, in the words of my husband "thank Gif we did not miss it!" NOT. We feel a bit uncomfortable and I personally assume is not comfortable for the servers - the story I tell myself. BTW, our server Jubilee, was the best

Great service, great food and overall great atmosphere. I strongly advise anyone to have a drink and food there.

I do like the flavors on their wings. Last time I was there for the wings I had ordered and the waitress asked if I wanted ranch or blue cheese, I said ranch.I received a phone call that I needed to pick up my son, I let my waitress know that I needed to change my order to go. When I got home and unpacked the food, no ranch, only celery, must have been missed when the order went from in house to take out. Tonight I went in and ordered a "TAKE OUT MEAL OF WINGS", again I was asked if I would like ranch or blue cheese. Again I said ranch, when I got home and unpacked the food, the dressing was missing AGAIN! I got the celery but no ranch! I looked at the receipt, it was listed! Are they stepping on dollars to try and save pennies? I may like the flavors on their wings, but will drive past them to get what I pay for. The bag comes out of the kitchen stapled and taped "To Ensure Freshness?" Or to ensure you don't see what may be missing? At least when you go to Hooters for wings, you know you are getting charged for celery and dressing and you actually get it. Seems ridiculous that it is built into the price and you only walk away with the celery .

Holy gross. Get a load of this screen.

Solid bar food, service on point, and the "views" pair surprisingly well. No complaints.

The Southern Mac & Cheese was probably the standout for me -- creamy, with a nice kick and crispy onions on top. Portions across the board were very generous, so it's definitely worth keeping that in mind before ordering too much. We had a really nice evening here. There's plenty of space, TVs everywhere, and the whole place has that lively sports-bar energy without feeling cramped. We were there while the IU-Northwestern game was on, so it was especially fun if you enjoy watching a game while eating with friends. The overall experience felt relaxed and easy, which makes it a good option for meeting up with a group. Between the dedicated vegetarian section, big portions, lively atmosphere, and game-day setup, it's much better for vegetarians than I expected from a traditional sports bar. And definitely save room for the skillet cookie.

It was kind of chilly but we were next to a fireplace and a little later they turned on the burner stands. Our server stopped by a few times but we let him know we are waiting for a few others. When all of us were there, he took drink orders as we looked over the menu. We eventually ordered our food and the server was great with answering our questions. I ordered a combo meal with grilled wings and ribs. I requested just flats for the wings and he accommodated. I got French Fries and mashed potatoes. The wings were good and I dipped it in the habanero sauce. The ribs were tangy and had some meat on the bones. The meal only came with 4 wings and 4 ribs but it was plenty and I was full at the end. Maybe it was double the carbs. I enjoyed the food and loved catching up with the guys.

We went on Super Bowl Sunday the first time, and were seated right away. Our waitress, Ciera, explained the specials to us and gave us some time to decide on our order. She was great, the right mix of attentiveness but not hovering, super friendly too. On Sundays, apps, crocks, and salads are all half off. Such an amazing deal, especially in this economy. My husband really enjoyed their devils eggs, he ate all 12! The appetizer sampler was great, and we ordered 10 wings with the devils sauce. Ciera was concerned it may be too spicy for us, so we tried a sample with some fries. It's delicious! The devils sauce is one of the components of the wing challenge, so we understand her concern. We went back again on Valentine's Day for a late stop after a busy day. They have a $5 burger and fry special. Again, great food at a great price! Ciera waited on us again, and again, she was incredible. The bartender was very friendly when we were coming and going, and the rest of the staff we saw on Super Bowl Sunday seemed very hard working as they prepped take out orders for the game. They have a great space in the dining area to host events. I'm hoping to host something here in the near future. Overall, I think we've found our new go to hang out. I highly recommend Crosstown. Check out their menu and daily specials, the food is definitely worth the visit.

When we're in town, we hit up all the old favorites, and Miller's Ale House was on the menu on June 25th. We had dinner plans with friends later, but we squeezed in a lunch date with beer and a shared appetizer. Their wings are legendary, so we ordered 12 to go with our brews. Let's get to the review. Service was top-notch - our host greeted us with a smile, and our waiter was on point. We got our beers within five minutes, no problem. The ambiance was cozy, well-lit, and bustling with sports tv and ambient noise. But here's the kicker - we waited 30 minutes for our wings. Yeah, it was 1:30 when we arrived and the place was pretty empty, but that's no excuse. Now why did give a rating of two? Well, for the service and ambiance only. We were served our wings at 2:00. How were the wings you maybe wondering? My Husband and I eagerly grab wing flats. 'Can these bones live?' Eating those wings immediately reminded me of Ezekiel 37 in the Old testament after he saw skeletons scattered about asked, "Can these bones live?" The wings were drier than the Sahara, and the honey barbecue sauce was just a weak attempt to revive the corpse. Can these dry out wings live up to being freshly made and juicy covered up by a tasty honey barque sauce? Hell to the naw, naw naw!!! We called our waiter over explained our dissatisfaction with a request to remove the wings off our bill. We still tipped him, because hey, he's not the wing assassin. since he only served the food and it was the kitchen that prepared that saucy dressed up trash plated up real pretty. What a let down Miller's. We noticed your price increase for six wings cut in half sold as 12 pieces. If you expect customers to pay more for less than you should be serving your best, that is cooked fresh not food that is precooked sitting for hours then reheated. I did check your reviews which were not the best and gave you the benefit of a doubt despite low ratings. Would I recommend Miller's? Sure, if you enjoy eating dry wings and wondering if they'll crawl off your plate. However, to each their own, your money, your call. This economy has got me rethinking the whole 'strike three and you're out' deal. Paying more for less, subpar service, unnecessary waiting time, honey it is now, strike one, you're on out as my time and coins are valuable and restaurants are hurting so I will search for one where I can get the love I deserve.
