My friends and I came here for the first time over the weekend. Our first impressions weren't the best. It just seemed like a small bar that you would pre-game at before actually "going out." However, after exploring around, there were actually so many fun things to do! There were free darts, pool was only $1 a round, and there was even karaoke. We ended up staying for almost 4 hours! We met a few locals who come here often and one of them even bought us drinks. We really enjoyed our time here. The only complaint would be that the drinks aren't the best in terms of options, but there's more than enough to get the job done. We would definitely be back in the future to have another chill game night with friends. read more

2nd foray: $1 pool with weighted cue sticks. I made a nice break with an 18 oz. Turns out they do have Mexican food. You ring the bell and order from next door. My wife and I stopped in here on a Friday afternoon to kill some time. We walked into a large open ceilinged bar. There were a lot of pool tables and other bar games. In the middle was the bar area with a large double sided L shaped bar with an island in the base. The bar took up a lot of area and is only practical if the bar is packed. In fact they had a section of it closed off when we were there. There were a lot of TVs as the large rack of remotes on the island and the banks of receivers scarily displayed on wire shelving indicated. The place itself is in some serious need of repair and maintenance. The cash register on the island was plugged into a power strip that was run across the top of the island under some tappers. Fortunately it appeared the tappers were no longer in use so we didn't have to worry about beer dropping into the overloading sockets. The bar and the stools needed updating and repair. Cracks in the upholstery and the uneven surface of the bar were kind of uncomfortable. There was also a smell in the bar of stale beer and mold. When I asked about restrooms, I was told there were two; one on each side of the bar. I went to the one closest to me. It was tiny! One stool and urinal which appeared to need cleaning pretty badly. This also appears to be a local's only place. From the time we walked in, most of the people there kept looking at us and whispering to each other. Except for the guys that kept leering at my wife and weren't shy about it. When I returned from using the restroom my wife told me she was uncomfortable in there alone. Over all the service was okay. We didn't spend more than an hour here due to being uncomfortable, so I don't have any long term experience with the service. I'm also not sure if they serve food or not. I was never offered a menu and I didn't see anyone eating. Overall, we killed an hour and I might go back if I'm in the same neck of the woods and I needed to kill some time. read more

LOL!! I went to HotShots with some friends and one of our friends went up to the "dj" and requested a newer song. It was pretty lame hearing high school and middle school songs .."its time for the percolator" and JaRule so BORING! The girl "djing" went nuts when our friend requested a song. She went on a long rant how she was a big time dj in the city and djs all over Chicago and was super offended to hear a song request...Ok you are djing in a crappy dive suburban bar, we dont care, you arent cool. The drinks here are ok, but I dont think Id ever return. The only reason I came here was because a friend that I met up with lives nearby, but there many other bars around this area to settle for this place. Its rather divy and outdated and felt dirty. Like the person stated on another review theres 0-3 people maximum on the dance floor. read more

This place reeks of booze and bad decisions, but it's dirt cheap and has PBR draught. $5/hr for pool tables. 1 PBR and 1 Bud Light was $4.25. The place is complete with a DJ taking requests, spacious dance floor and a waitress coming to the billiard tables to take orders. You kind of get what you pay for. A hole in the wall type bar but I like it. Good place to go for drinks, talking or darts. The darts are free so that is pretty fun. They will have things like DJs and karaoke but it is not the best place for that. Beer is cheap! I buy $8 pitchers of miller light and play free darts. Cheap night with friends. I know they don't have food but you can bring food in from Mexican place or Rosati's pizza. Both places are in the same parking lot. read more

I for one HATE townie bars with a passion filled with your typical bro's, hoes, wannabe gangstas, middle aged working class trying to stay hip leaving the wife at home and proceeding to try and pick up 21 year old ladies. I don't really have a problem with personality flaws from the patrons until they.... A.) Get drunk and start a fight...which happens 1 outa 4 times I have been here. B.) Let you know that this is THEIR bar and get off their pool table. Sometimes leading into point (A). The staff is meh.... This place is a dive, and by that a real dump. The crowd is thin and only caters to locals that they call friends. Another oversized pool hall and bar. It is located in a strip mall and maybe they get packed with locals on the weekends. The time I went place was dull and dead and the server was as friendly as a warden.They have some decent shot prices and the place is roomy although there isn't much in the room to look at. Nice little sports bar. Local yocal bar there prices are reasonable it gets busy, but not overly crowded. The bar is nice because it is very spacious. they have several pool table and my favorite 'free electronic darts', they also have a dance floor and bag's and boards. The owner is killing this place, I have been going there maybe 5 times a year for the past 10 years. I would go there only because they had lots of pool tables (non coin operated). There was a pool table there that had a rip in the felt for a year before it got fixed. The place has slowly fallen apart over the years. It is always too hot in there (winter or summer), the whole place smells like a sewer. The rest rooms are usually messy and the floors are urine soaked. I went there the other night, keep in mind this is an August night, the a/c was not on, and they have brand new tiny coin operated pool tables. That's the last straw, I am out of there. read more
