They have recently updated their app and bay scheduling process, and it's horrible. I am not able to book a bay on the app for less than 90 minutes - this function was confirmed over the phone with a topgolf staff member. Since the app didn't provide what I was looking for, the staff member said to come in as a walk-in - that there's plenty of bays available. NOPE, not the case. Fun Night at Top Golf, Food was on point. We ordered Combo Wings (Parmasean Garlic, Asian Sesame, and BBQ), Chicken Nachos, Pizza, Fries, and Steak Tacos. The new Chicken nachos were tasty and went well with our drinks. We also loved the variety of flavored wings. We ended the night with delicious doughnuts with injection of flavor of Raspberry and cream. Everything came out perfect. Bottom Line: Decent experience overall for a fun couple of hours. If you haven't been here it's worth a visit for a group or family fun time. If you're not a golfer, no worries, the games are designed for all players. If you are and aren't interested in the games it's an opp to work on your swing. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers in that I'm not sure someone is paying attention to moving drink and food orders in an organized and efficient way. We waited for a very long time and I finally had to go ask about my beverage at the bar and it turns out many drinks had been sitting there for some time--server...? Nowhere to be found. The food, straightforward bar-style American fare with some attention to presentation. Servings are ample but so are the prices so at least there's a match there. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The only drawback is that sometimes not all the clubs are available, so a few things can feel missing. This was my first time at a topgolf location so I wasn't really sure what to expect. We took a chance & didn't make a reservation, as it was 8pm on a week night. We got right into a bay, so that was nice. If you're looking to go at a busier time, I highly recommend making a reservation. I wish the person working the check-in counter would have asked if we had been there before, but they just got us checked in, told us what bay & sent us off. Our server came to our bay within 5 minutes and explained how everything works & took our drink/food order. The food was....just ok. Honestly I wouldn't recommend unless you're super hungry. The drinks were decent, but we stuck to beer. As far as pricing goes, this place is relatively expensive unless you have a group of 6. For the quality of some of the clubs, I wish this would have felt a little more... upscale. Right now, they're offering half price golfing which is honestly the only way I'd ever go. Also, there's a weird $6 'new member' fee... which is honestly the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. Imagine if a bowling place did this? While the bay is mostly outside, they did have heaters, so that's nice when it's a little colder. When it's still 40-50 out, you do feel a bit like a rotisserie chicken cooking, but it is better than freezing. read more

Service by the wait staff is 5 stars Golf is 3.5 stars price is a little on the high plus while golfing and picking a game it really eats at the time you're paying by the minute. Now Food I give them 2 stars. It hit or miss The Fried Chix. Sandwich was very good. The tator tots came out in this December weather in an open basket and were barely warm and cold within seconds...serve them in a cup or paper cone would have keep them somewhat warmer. Chips with cheese sauce & salsa for around $12 rather high price for smashed chips and cheese sauce like the tator tots got somewhat hard and cold pretty fast. It's very disappointing when an establishment doesn't care about handicapped individuals. I am very sick and having surgery September 3, my grandchildren are driving me an hour and a half to this location to play golf maybe for the last time. I want to make it memorable so I asked them if we could have a top-tier. 'NO, you can't'.....was their answer, on Sunday August 24th. the experience was very fun and really enjoyable for my group. it was very clean and had beautiful views. my issues were with the quality and taste of the food and service. the food is borderline disgusting, barely any flavor and definitely not worth the cost. the waitress was terrible, not introducing herself, walking away without notice, and our food being placed anywhere on the table without clarification of who ordered what. the assistant at the bay was amazing and very attentive. read more

We ordered the 39.00 plater. The chicken sliders had a chicken nugget on each one of the five sliders. I couldn't believe it. On the menu board were chicken sliders with crispy chicken bigger than the bun. When we lifted the bin there it was a chicken nugget, peeking at me. What a waste for that price. read more

Had to wait 30 mins then eventually asked them to serve us. My review got a reply from someone at topgolf saying they wanted to make it right but never reached out to me. My experience at Topgolf Naperville was strange and not exactly how I envisioned my Monday night. I would say my reasoning for this review would be that the food and ambience was a 4/5, while the service was definitely a 1/5. I had received gift cards from family prior to this visit, and I decided to invite my friends as a fun way to relax and unwind after a busy week at school. I highly believe our group was profiled in a way, and it was embarrassing. After ordering our appetizers, we were told to pay the tab right away for some reason, which definitely confused me, but I went ahead and did so because I thought it was a company policy. As I golfed, I noticed how our server acted toward one party versus ours, and I began to feel uncomfortable at how she treated us. We had been there for about 15 out of the 90 minutes we had paid for, and she closed out our tab after we ordered 2 appetizers (we were a group of 4). I have had a similar experience at a different establishment and it hurts to see teenagers like ourselves be profiled simply because others have behaved disrespectfully. After our tab was closed, our group still wanted to order dessert and more drinks, but our server made it seem like we were inconveniencing her. My friend had handed her a $20 and it took almost half an hour to get his change back even though she would be checking in regularly at the bays next to us. From this experience, I don't believe I will be returning to Topgolf Naperville anytime soon. I had told others about my experience, and even they said that it was very strange and even disrespectful. Just because one group does something unruly doesn't mean others will do the same. read more

Topgolf is always a nice place to catch up with friends and family. It's fun and you really don't need to know how to play golf to participate. My latest trip was around 4 PM on a Sunday. We had joined the waitlist around 15 minutes before we arrived and were taken to a bay right away. There were some technical difficulties where they told us to go to one bay and that bay was not clean or ready at all so they sent us to another bay which didn't have any of our info and finally sent us back to the first bay again. However, after that, the game play was much more smooth. The system can be a little glitchy sometimes, but thankfully if they don't count your points correctly you can edit the score and click exactly where you hit so it can update your score more accurately. We also grabbed some snacks to enjoy with our games. -NACHO AVERAGE NACHOS: Flavor of the nachos and queso was great. It also had a bit of a kick to them. However, they tried to give a deconstructed nacho appearance and elevate the experience or something which is really not needed at a top golf. Please just give a tower of nachos with everything on top instead. -BONELESS TOPGOLF WINGS: We had asked if we could have half garlic parm and half bbq but they couldn't do that unfortunately so we just got the garlic parmesan. The flavor was nice and it had a good amount of fresh cut veggies along with it. We had asked for both ranch and bleu cheese dipping sauce and they only gave us the ranch but brought out two more cups of bleu cheese dressing when we asked for it. -MEATALIAN FLATBRERAD: Yum! This was actually really good and had such good flavor. The pizza was well baked as well. Ok so we love this place and the waitress was very nice and attentive to us. Now the downside my fries had sauce on them, some not all. No one had sauce at the table. So this led me to believe they re-fried the fries. My basket also the least amount of fries in it. Not sure if anyone else has had the experience here and I know every time was and always had been amazing. This time I'm disappointed. More so because I used to run a kitchen. I expected more. My friends and I cane here for the first time today. We had never been golfing but the staff were knowledgeable and taught us a few things. It was super cold today, so take weather into account because the golfing bays are all partially outside. There were heaters, but definitely glad we wore multiple layers. The food here was actually surprisingly very good. The fries came super crispy and seasoned. The wings and veggies were so flavorful and fresh too. As for drinks, there aren't a ton of options, but it's enough. We will definitely be back here to hangout and golf on a warmer day! P.S. There are upper and lower level golf bays. If you want a certain one, make sure to ask about it (and make reservations ahead of time lol). read more

Came here with some friends for top golf on a weekday! They were very strict on number of people in each booth but overall it was a fun experience. Prefect place to practice your golf skills. I really enjoyed the open area and it really limit you to the amount of people per bay. We had a company event here and our server was very efficient and fast with our drinks orders. We had various options for food choices. However the dessert options are phenomenal especially the donuts where you inject your own filling. The raspberry one was my favorite. read more

Topgolf is great for groups or gatherings that want to do something fun and different. Golf skills are helpful but completely not necessary. They have different games depending on your group. Never did I think I would enjoy golfing so much. It's a lot of fun and very competitive. The food is delicious. Especially the chicken Caesar salad wrap oh lord I can't stop thinking about it. The service is really great as well as the ambience was amazing. You are outside basically, but there is heaters so when you sit down on the couches or your chairs, it's so nice and warm it feels phenomenal. Ended up going two days in a row after my first time I definitely recommend. You can do a cute little dinner date idea make it romantic or a family event. We waited about 35 minutes before we got sat in our section, but they have a cool thing where you can reserve your spot in line on the app which we did as well. Must try read more

Booked 2 bays on 07/17/25 for our party, our group was carded before ordering drinks from Giselle the waitress with pink hair & I didn't order one to start so I could ensure the rest of my party found our bays and could begin playing. The waitress Giselle with bright pink hair had another manager check my ID even though I hadn't ordered a drink yet and I was told my REAL ID was fake and they wouldn't serve me. I am 25 and spoke to the manager Brad Calandria to verify my ID and request a different server. For the whole 2 hours of play time Brad Calandria did not handle the situation in anyway or follow up. I went down at the end to receive compensation for the poor service and denial of a real ID. Giselle did not have any urgency for our party and the party went 1 hour without drinks. I wasn't even offered water!! The front staff was understanding because BRAD CALANDRIA is known for being an incompetent manager. Sorry to the poor staff that has to deal with that. Giselle with the pink hair also needs to be retrained, horrible attitude & very poor service. Try out a different location for sure, it's too expensive to have such a bad experience!! read more

The golf ball system does glitch from time to time and you're standing there waiving your club over the sensor and waiting for your ball to come out which is annoying. Things seems to have changed a bit. I went here recently with family and things seem to be a bit different. The menu seems much more limited especially for someone that doesn't eat meat. The menu usually offers some sort of alternative but for some reason on this visit we were told to access the menu from a QR code and the menu was a so limited all I could order was a pretzel. I was a bit annoyed by this because I was looking forward to eating here. As I walked to the bathroom, I noticed some of the other tables had actual menu's. They appeared to be the menu's I'm use to seeing. I was a bit confused as to why some had menus and some didn't but I definitely felt cheated by how limited our menu was. I didn't feel everything was as great this visit as it usually is, things just felt off. Some of the employees weren't as patient or nice as usual, it just felt off for some reason. Overall this visit was just ok, a good thing about this visit was we didn't have to wait. We went on a Thursday and there was no wait. DANG, HOOKED IT...... Even lousy games are played with the best of intentions. I visited the Naperville Topgolf with friends on 1/2/21. They take walk-ins, but a reservation is strongly recommended (in which case you'll have to put down a deposit before securing your timeslot). It was a cloudy Saturday afternoon and the place was buzzing with people seeking something to cure the post-holiday blues. For those unfamiliar, Topgolf is a driving range that incorporates a scoring system like darts; the targets are radial, the closer to the center, the higher the point values. Aside from regular game modes, they're currently running an Angry Birds tie-in that displays your shot on a monitor. On easier difficulty settings, accuracy is prioritized over distance. Rates for golfing bays start from $27/hr (weekdays until noon) to $47/hr (evenings & weekends). Tuesdays are half price. Each bay is heated and stocked with an assortment of clubs, and all three tiers of driving range are surrounded by protective netting. They've got a full bar, with food and drink menus on QR codes. If this is your first time here, they'll charge you $5 for a 'lifetime membership'. This doesn't include any perks (unless you count email spam to be a 'perk'), it merely lets you play. Since I'd been to the Topgolf in Wood Dale several times, I was able to dodge this fee....but I had to insist. This is a money-making ploy if there ever was one. Total racket. We ordered a pitcher of Stella Artois ($23) and when it came out, I was surprised to see a large aluminum cylinder taking up space in the middle. I recognized this as a chilling core to keep beer cold, and then it dawned on me that it occupied nearly an entire pints' worth of volume! If I'm paying for a 60oz pitcher, give me all 60 fluid ounces. Don't cheat me out of beer. The food was tasty. Steak nachos ($12) had pico de gallo, guacamole, and bore a close resemblance to loaded tostadas. The mac bites ($9) were roughly a dozen deep fried morsels of cheesy mac, served with ranch and creamy tomato sauce for dipping. Our friends ordered the pretzel bites ($8) and the tater tots ($4), which were great. Bread = 4 Circuses = 1.5 Here's where things take a sharp nosedive. At the beginning of our round, an employee walked us through sign-in and I assumed our 1hr would begin after they were done with their intro spiel. I was wrong. The timer started either at front desk check-in or shortly after. If our group wasn't setup yet, why were we being charged?? Does the clock start on a football game when referees are doing the coin toss? NO! Do you begin a boxing match when they're announcing the contenders? Of COURSE not--you wait for the goddamn bell! By the time the staffer was finished describing the different "modes", we only had 50 minutes left on the clock. Nearly 1/6th of our time was wasted for no reason, and they never told us this. Talk about getting wool pulled over our eyes. Yo, Topgolf management--it's REALLY not cool to start a group's time while you're still explaining the ropes to them. It's a bogus way to force our hand by making us either pay more $$$, or simply accept the lost time. Vexed by this, we paid our tab after just a single round and found more affordable entertainment. * TL;DR * Topgolf can be a good time with a group, but they cut some pretty shady corners on our visit and we felt cheated. Better employee training and up-front transparency will help customers feel like they're not getting the short end of the stick (I mean what's up with the girl explaining the nuances of Angry Birds while our clock was ticking? That was absolutely maddening!) I had much more positive experiences at the now-defunct Wood Dale location. If I come back, it'll be on a day when games are half price. I'd much rather see my dollar stretch further, elsewhere. read more

Overpriced for what you get. Vibe is mostly frat boys with lots of body spray. The food is good but the portions are way too small. I'm talking 8 chips total for nachos. Like, common, throw some more chips on there. It will cost you 10 cents. Really loved their tater tots though. They have the perfect amount of crunch. Beer selection was lacking, not a lot of local brews. And this place definitely needs more indoor games! They could milk it even more with more pool tables and some dart boards. My GF had a 50th birthday and the entire restaurant staff could not have been nicer. She does not play golf AT ALL but she does love a good time and this place ABSOLUTELY showed her a great time. Pretty cool concept to make a driving range a group activity. But kinda pricy. Expect to pay $50-100 a person for 3-4 people for an hour if you eat. read more
