I would rate my experience as only ok. We checked in ahead of time and it was a 2.5 hour wait. We arrived at the time the app told us, and we still waited about 20 min. As this was my first time to top golf, I wasn't sure what to expect. Our lane server had multiple larger parties so it took awhile. This was my first time at a top golf and I would say avoid this location at all costs. Over all the service was pleasant and everyone was friendly. However what disturbed me the most was what I witnessed a staff member doing (or not doing) after using the bathroom. I was in there with one other person...this said wait staff member and heard them utilize the restroom. When she came out I was washing my hands and she left the bathroom without washing hers. We had a blast at Topgolf this weekend! Food: everything we ordered was pretty good. A couple of just ok items: the hot wings and the guacamole. But the Asian wings are excellent! French Fries, Tator Tots, and the Flatbread pizzas were are really good. The drinks we ordered were all excellent as well. On to the fun! So each person has to sign in like you would in bowling. You take turns (as many as you want at a time). The balls have little trackers on them so they know exactly who hits what in order to keep score. Love coming here but wish the service in the bays was a little better!! Top golf isn't a cheap outing by any means but my family, friends and I love coming when we want to plan a fun outdoor activity! We requested a bay on the top floor which they accommodated so that was very nice. However, our server didn't come around often and when she did it really felt like we were inconveniencing her. I get they are super busy but we're also paying a lot of money for the bay, food and drinks for just 2 hours. Besides that, I love that you can choose from different games to play - fun for kids to pick what they like. And their food is decent. We ordered the buffalo chicken dip, pretzel bites and the chicken strips with fries. Everything came out fresh. The sunset marg (picture below) was really good. Top golf is an interesting concept. I have heard of it but never had any interest in going there. However, one day that changed, and I am hooked on this place. If those that are unfamiliar, Top Golf is darts with golf. However, you do not need to play golf to enjoy Top Golf. In fact, the worse you are... the more fun it probably will be. It is a very fun way to spend a few hours with your significant others, and/or family/friends since they provide decent food, and good drinks, but you are secluded slightly from other people. Therefore, you can enjoy and watch people hit golf balls. They will be either great which makes it exciting to see the ball soar into the sky. Or they will be terrible and everyone will have good laughs because it is just funny. They have a pretty big parking lot. Even during peak hours, I have never had any issues with finding a place to park. It is a nice layout so you are never too far from your car but people will still fight for those close parking spots which I will never understand. Even if you take the farthest spot, it is very close to the entrance. Once you enter, you have to check-in at the desk or you can attempt to reserve a bay on their app. You will get a text message when your bay is ready so you can leave straight for it. But, there is a nice bar while you are waiting for your bay to be cleared/cleaned. Sometimes, they will give you estimated times but those numbers were always exaggerated. The location has 3 levels so it will either be 100, 200, or 300. You enter your bay and make a free membership which is linked to your email and/or phone number. Then you pick a game if you would like. Normally, we play basic top golf which is similar to darts. Overall, the service has been decent. I am sure the servers are running around and they cover a lot of bays so I won't count it against them. The food is decent.... not mind-blowing, nor is it horrible quality... it is just decent food. The drinks, however, are always great. I will always return to this location in the future. read more

We've been here about 10 times with the family and have continually seen the service and product get worse and worse. We will not be coming back to this location and sadly, we're soured on Top Golf as a whole. I reserved a bay weeks in advance, we arrived about 10 minutes early and they still put us on the ground floor in the corner. When we asked for a different bay, they claimed that there were corporate events that day and there was no way to change bays. We were there on Father's Day. Really? Who is having a corporate event on Father's Day? But whatever. We pointed out that on our very looooong walk to our bay in the corner, we passed probably about 7 empty bays that were set up for customers. We asked if we could go to one of those bays. We spoke with a manager who was clearly trained in exactly what to day. It was like she was a robot repeating corporate blabber that she memorized to deal with disgruntled customers. So once again, no. Those bays were "reserved". Like the reservation we made, we asked? She said yes. OMG. We just gave up. Sigh. The quality of food has plummeted. Not only was it bad bar food but the portions were tiny! We ordered the nachos. Now, I'm fine with it not being a mountain of nachos but we got 5 chips. Five. Are you serious? We would have to find our waitress whenever we needed anything, which was annoying. The bussers who brought our food said Happy Father's Day which was nice. The flatscreen for golf games was really wonky. Every screen was a different layout and portions of the touch screen didn't work which was super aggravating. We probably spent about 15 minutes trying to enter the "required" information. And eventually just had to put in whatever we could because the screen didn't work. There are bays available, but we were told that we would lose our deposit and have to rebook the reservation at full price. Scoring was broke!!! Typically I love Topgolf and I have been to locations all across the country, but I visited Topgolf Naperville and the scoring did not work. This is frustrating because when the scoring system is broke at Topgolf, you are basically paying a premium to swing cheap clubs at unrealistic targets. When we asked for help, the workers blamed the snow. However, the other bays seemed to work just fine. When I visited in similar conditions in the past, this was not an issue. However, typically its one server for every 10-12 people. We only had two but we needed three servers. This place was very clean. I enjoyed myself. We went there for a close friends milestone birthday party to celebrate. Upon arrival and settling in, our waiter refused to serve our party any alcohol because our IDs were expired. Sure, in 99 percent of cases, the waiter is right but in this case, the federal government extended and Governor JB Pritzker the renewal date until June. I've personally can buy liquor from any liquor store and get served at any other restaurant. What topped it for me the most toward the end of the night was the bowling alley. Great place, my son loves it and we always have the best time. Obviously fun for adults as well, with a pretty cool bar in the center. It is a Covid safe activity so it's busy. Half off game play on Tuesday's. Food is good, love the Buffalo mac rolls (I hope those are still on the menu) drinks good, music is always nice. There is a back area for kid going and guests that could definitely be used as a party space. Perfect for date night, and all season really. Tips: create a profile, $5 for first timers, you can bring your own golf clubs/gear, great for kids, MAKE A RESERVATION, cheaper earlier during the day. If you don't make a reservation or put yourself on the list you will be waiting a very long time I would love to see them add arcade games couple machines nothing crazy. read more

I play for fun but the more I go, the better I get. It is highly recommended that you book your bay reservations online. A few ppl arrived & walked up trying to make reservations but it was told it would be a 2-3hr wait. Top Golf drinks are a bit overpriced & very basic. They serve typical bar finger food & small bites (nachos, boneless wings, pretzels bites, French fries). Ok, I get it. This place wants to be the Lucky Strike of golf. And for the most part, they pull it off. But it's the little things that hold this place back from true greatness and fun times for all. As mentioned by multiple other people, the $5 "lifetime membership" routine for first timers is a total scam. Either add it into the cost of the bay rental or drop it all together. It comes off as sketchy and shady at best. The pool tables on the bottom floor closest to the golf bays and the stairs draw way too much foot traffic. Every time some one wants to take their shot, they're constantly being interrupted and distracted by people either going in or out and going up or down the staircase. More than once, I saw someone not paying attention run into a player and resulting in confrontations of varying degrees of annoyance on both sides. The food and beverages are pretty decent, but man, are they overpriced, both in terms of quantity and quality. I get you have to pay for upkeep and maintenance of your space, but damn, how about flatbread pizza with more than an ounce of sauce or martinis that don't skimp on the booze? As it stands, if someone suggests coming here to hang out, I'm probably going to recommend Round1 instead, unless they just HAVE to hit a couple. read more

We arrived to play our simulated game at top golf. We put our credit card in and paid for an hours worth of balls. The server came by and could not explain how the screen worked (as the clock was ticking), and it was about 10 minutes until we figured out that the computer doesn't automatically rotate the golfer at the tee. After we got it going the server kept coming up and asking if we wanted to add more time, which was wasting the time we already paid for and made us feel rushed through our game. In the end I think we played one decent game of traditional play and one rushed game which we had to hurry through to beat the clock. All in all after 2 beers and a tip the bill was $100. My advice is go to a traditional range that has a bar, and just hit some balls. I won't be visiting this place again. read more

One of the tees in our bay was broken and it was on the right side which we are all right handed so this kind of ruined the experience as we are all beginners. The food is really horrible, it tastes like it was microwaved and the server hardly checked on us. She also never brought us utensils, waters, or napkins and I had to get up to find someone. One guy, possibly the manager, I noticed was doing more checks on people than the servers. I just wish she was more attentive and more eager to help. I came here on Thursday with a big group from my church. I've always drove past Topgolf and thought it was a great concept but unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to go. Well Thursday was my lucky day and I have to say my experience was so enjoyable! We had 6 people to a bay (I believe that's what they are called) and our guide to help us get set up was super helpful. After you get set up everything else is pretty straight forward, it's about $40 to play for 1 hour. I also thought the food was pretty good and the prices were reasonable, a lot cheaper than I expected! My group and I played for 2 hours and it was just a really great time. The bays are also heated really well during the winter. I actually had to take off my jacket because I was getting hot. I only deducted 1 star because our waitress wasn't the greatest. I went up to her to ask where the garbage was and she completely ignored me and walked past to talk to someone else. I also ordered cheese fries to go right as we were finishing our final hour, and when I asked her if she could add it to my tab she said something like "umm, yeah sure I guess". It made me feel like I had to apologize even though I was ultimately giving them more of my money. I didn't appreciate that. Other than that it was really fun, looking forward to coming back in the spring/summer! read more

I'm so glad Top Golf is still open. Although I was a little apprehensive of going at first due to COVID, I was pleasantly surprised by how they went above and beyond to ensure their workers and customers are safe. Mask are required but you can take them off once you get to your bay. At the bays, they have dividers between each bay and a limited number of people are allowed inside while you reserve the bay at the front desk. The workers all had mask on and sanitized everything. They even provided mask to customers who came but did not have any of their own. This was very thoughtful. Golfing was very fun. It was nice that the bays are climate controlled and the food was amazing. It was a really great time and look forward to going back again. read more

As an avid golfer, it's always a good time to shake the weekend routine up. Went on a Sunday mid morning and it was pretty crowded, but ended up short wait. The place is very clean and wait staff very friendly. Normally only would order drinks but decided to do brunch as well. Ordered French toast and the Texas brisket hash skillet (just cause it has Texas in the name doesn't apparently make it a big dish). The French toast was awesome with just the right amount of sweet. Skillet little underwhelmed by portion and my sunny side up egg was completely fried. Also did build your mimosa (3 juices & 1 bottle) for the table plus one bucket. So I've been to this location twice and playing the game itself can be fun. For both times tho, the issue lies with the customer service. We were just here last Saturday and.. the employees just seem to not care. The young women at the front desk were very nice but once you're at your section, it just goes down hill from there. As soon as we arrive, I order a appetizer and some cup of waters for the table.. my husband also asks for left handed golf clubs before they began the game. The waiter says that's fine and gets us set up with whatever else that's needed. Now our waiter's mood just doesn't give off that he wants to be there from the beginning but sometimes ppl get tired so I tried to ignore that. About 40/45 mins later, I received my food. He sits the plate there with no utensils or anything. I was told that they were washing dishes in the kitchen so that's why it took a while.. mmm ok, fair I guess. So I ask for a fork/knife and we ask again for waters because they never came. Then we find ourselves having to ask someone else for the left handed clubs b/c we never received them either.. Now we see our waiter just walking around but he doesn't seem to actually be busy because we've asked for a few things and it's taking like 25/30 mins to get anything. We finally get waters and he only gives us 3.. it's 7 of us there. My brother also ordered a drink and when the waiter brought the drink he just sits it on the table and the cup is half full...
