Chili lime mango marg
Nichole S.

Great! Great food! Had the mango chili lime margarita-so good! Wonderful service highly recommend

Jessica L.

First time for me and my friend Britt, we were swimming at the Hyatt and wanted something ASAP. We ordered over the phone - both getting the jambalaya, which was delicious! Britt got their cheese cake and had no complaints, I got a brownie and ice cream and besides the ice cream - we'll probably be coming back again.

Pastrami burger! It's a lot of food

This place is really cool. It looks like it's in an industrial area and quite unsuspecting. It's near a golf course and is very golf themed: they even have golf simulators in the restaurant. I came here for the two brothers beer which is brewed locally. I had the pastrami beef burger that has stack of pastrami on top of the beef patty. Let me tell you this was a lot of food. They also have a selection of fries that you could pick from. The fries were a bit salty but overall pretty good. This place is very spacious and has a lot of room with big screen TVs. I would definitely come back.

This is a nice convenient place for us to go to. They have a decent beer selection, and if you're on cheaper side, you can get a selection of 4 old style beers (Beers of Yesteryear - Old Style, Hamm's, Olympia, and Old Milwaukee) for $2.50 per can. I had flattish and disappointing Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA and tried some of wife's Old Style which was both refreshing and nostalgic for me. The 5 cheese pizza with chicken ($11) we had was very salty, and I would only give them 2 stars for the food, but a 3 overall. Server kindly offered a remake or another item, but we did not bother. They have a golf theme based on having golf simulators upstairs. I'll probably be back for the reasonably priced beer selection and convenient location.

Cute, golf themed carvery and pub...

Tap In has great ambience, and some good food, but their menu is really limited, especially for someone who doesn't eat beef or pork - but then again, it is a carvery. Because my choices are limited, I've only been exposed to certain things here - their fried pickles are awesome in taste, although I prefer mine to be in slices versus spear form. Their Mac and Cheese is AWESOME, but so very heavy! Their wings are good, but not the best. Their salads have all been mildly disappointing!!! Their Pepper Patty Burger is to die for (from days when I did consume beef) Now, their bread pudding, however, was singularly the BEST thing I'd tasted there, except it's no longer on the menu! Super disappointing!!!

Turkey Sliders!

I come here with my dad when he is in town, it's an incredibly modern and clean establishment! I usually order the turkey sliders (absolutely delicious). Bartenders are very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend!

Nothing special. I think people go here for the golf simulator and beer. Besides the beer the other alcohol and food is nothing special. Asked about wine and the waitress said they had two "one is a moscato and one is a dry red." I ordered the moscato and it tasted nothing like moscato or sweet wine. She claimed it was "like moscato." Per our receipt it was nothing of the sort! I think part of the problem with both of our drinks and delayed service is they had the waitress running 6 tables and the bar. I had the margarita pizza which tasted fine just nothing special.

Cute little pickle jar! And the thanksgiving sliders and cottage fries.

Had just an app. Service was a little slow, but we were not there long. If you're a golfer, the simulator set up looked pretty solid

For drinks, I tried the lychee mojito -- it was strong but had really good flavor and was enjoyable. For an appetizer, we got the pretzels. They had a nice garlic seasoning on them and were pretty filling. These were good. For mains, we ordered the Hangover Burger, tenders, and the Bulleit Bourbon Burger. Everything was really delicious. My fries just needed a tad bit of salt, but the burger itself was cooked well (I asked for medium). The flavors were good, and the honey running down actually worked well with everything. Our waiter was also really good and provided solid service. Overall, a great experience -- will be back.

We went on Super Bowl Sunday the first time, and were seated right away. Our waitress, Ciera, explained the specials to us and gave us some time to decide on our order. She was great, the right mix of attentiveness but not hovering, super friendly too. On Sundays, apps, crocks, and salads are all half off. Such an amazing deal, especially in this economy. My husband really enjoyed their devils eggs, he ate all 12! The appetizer sampler was great, and we ordered 10 wings with the devils sauce. Ciera was concerned it may be too spicy for us, so we tried a sample with some fries. It's delicious! The devils sauce is one of the components of the wing challenge, so we understand her concern. We went back again on Valentine's Day for a late stop after a busy day. They have a $5 burger and fry special. Again, great food at a great price! Ciera waited on us again, and again, she was incredible. The bartender was very friendly when we were coming and going, and the rest of the staff we saw on Super Bowl Sunday seemed very hard working as they prepped take out orders for the game. They have a great space in the dining area to host events. I'm hoping to host something here in the near future. Overall, I think we've found our new go to hang out. I highly recommend Crosstown. Check out their menu and daily specials, the food is definitely worth the visit.

We went for a date night and it was honestly such an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts. It is lively and has a great energy, but it is not overwhelming or too crazy, which makes it perfect for a date night. You can actually talk, relax, and enjoy your time together, which is exactly what we were looking for. We ordered a mix of things and everything was so good. The BBQ platter with ribs, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, fries, and toast was packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. The chicken dish with mashed potatoes and greens was also amazing and really well done. We also got dessert and it was the perfect sweet ending to the night. The service was great the entire time. Our server was especially attentive and funny, which made the experience even better and added such a fun, personal touch to the night. Overall this is such a great spot and definitely one we will keep coming back to. If you are looking for a place that has a fun atmosphere but still feels comfortable for a date night, I would absolutely recommend checking this place out.

Service throughout was good and timed out well. Within 2 minutes of placing a drink order, they were brought over to our table. Food took about 10-15 mins to be prepared and brought over. Our group was in and out within an hour and 30 mins. I tried the Nashville chicken wrap which comes with a side. I went with the side salad with citrus vinaigrette. The salad was light and refreshing. Great way to get some veggies in! The wrap was delicious, crispy and toasted perfectly. All the ingredients paired well together and I enjoyed all the textures of it. I had ZERO left overs.

I shall start off with the average meat-eating omnivore. Options galore!!! Burgers, fries and appetizers for everybody! Vegetarians are delighted here as well Moving on to vegans such as myself... they offer a delicious and I mean SCRUMPTIOUS veggie burger that I would carry out or eat at a patio table anytime! One star off for the stink of cooking animal flesh which killed my appetite and the meaty appearance of everyone's burgers did as well. The star off is also due to their inability to provide any information at all about their French fries and the cooking oil used Vegetarians and those on diets did great with their salads and appetizers Celiacs only fair a very weak okay for the gluten-free options We came here as a large work group, and the service was EXCELLENT Atmosphere was not suitable - we would not return as a group. With all of the customers we could not hear one another speak. Add to that their overly loud music. The place was just TOO LOUD Look I offer the fairest Yelp reviews in all of the Yelp Universe 5-star food, 5-star service and 1-star atmosphere/ambience Sad to not return and I enjoy dining out and would not go through the Empire ordeal again. I ordered the "Jane," which is a pretty standard burger with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. It was good overall and cooked well, but it wasn't anything especially memorable or the best burger I've had. Overall, Empire is worth visiting for the atmosphere and rooftop experience, but the food itself was solid rather than outstanding.

We wanted to like this place - but disorganization and average food let us down. We saw online…read morethey were offering Lisle Restaurant week so we thought a perfect time to try a new place. We made a reservation, too. Kindred is a unique place in that it's in a strip mall and you enter part of the mall to get to the front entrance of Kindred. We walked in and there was nobody at the front desk but a sign that said Seat Yourself. We walk into the bar (b/c that was all we saw) and the bartender gives us the option of a table in the corner or a table right next to the bathroom. We noticed tables right by the window that were open, but those apparently weren't available. We took the corner. We sat and a waitress brought us menus. I asked about the Restaurant Week. She said she knew it was going on, but didn't know what the options were. She was very nice about it, but I had to prod her to find a menu for it. She came back a few minutes later for our drink order and I asked again for the Restaurant Week menu and she again alluded to not knowing what it was. I dropped it but if your restaurant is offering it - your staff should know what is on it and should promote it. Drinks...I ordered a martini - my husband said "diet coke or coke zero." She said - we don't have that. He then said "diet pepsi". She said - they have RC Cola Zero. My husband and I look at each other and we're like "ugh.". Only having RC as your pop of choice is an indicator to us of cheapness/not great food. Skip ahead - another couple comes into the bar at that point and the bartender offers the couple the table by the bathroom. The couple pointed to the tables by the window and I think the bartender said they were reserved. The couple said they had a reservation tonight. I couldn't catch the rest, but they ending up sitting at the table by the restroom. Very confusing. Then - it all made sense - a family of 5 came into the bar...(b/c still no person at the front desk and the seat yourself sign) - said they had a reservation and all of a sudden, someone appears and seats them in a completely different room. Apparently - there is a dining room that we all should have been sitting in. But - having no person at the front desk, a sign that says seat yourself, having an entrance in a strip mall side, and the bartender not explaining anything - was a problem. Skip ahead. Food - we got fried pickles (which were extremely salty) , STK Wrap (just okay), and Garlic Chicken bowl (little garlic). Nothing outstanding and nothing that would warrant us coming back.
