For our entrees, I went with the fried pickle burger, while my wife ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. The burger was perfectly juicy, and honestly, it was one of the best, if not the best, burgers I've had in Naperville. The buffalo chicken wrap was very good as well, with a nice kick from the buffalo sauce. Overall, Jackson Avenue Pub has that cozy, authentic pub atmosphere that's hard to find, along with some really tasty food. Definitely a spot we'd come back to!

One thing I really appreciated was the ability to customize your burger by choosing your preferred protein and bun. My wife ordered the Cowboy Burger. It was good, but I definitely enjoyed my burger more. I went with the Diablo Burger, and it did not disappoint. The 1/2 pound beef patty was cooked perfectly juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The roasted jalapeños and sriracha sauce added just the right amount of heat, while the bacon and fried egg brought even more richness and texture. The toasted pretzel bun held everything together beautifully. Taking that first bite and watching the creamy egg yolk run down the burger made every bite even more satisfying. My wife and I left very happy with our meal. Whenever we're back in the Naperville area, we've already agreed that this place will definitely be on our list to visit again.

My husband really enjoyed their devils eggs, he ate all 12! The appetizer sampler was great, and we ordered 10 wings with the devils sauce. Ciera was concerned it may be too spicy for us, so we tried a sample with some fries. It's delicious! The devils sauce is one of the components of the wing challenge, so we understand her concern. We went back again on Valentine's Day for a late stop after a busy day. They have a $5 burger and fry special. Again, great food at a great price! Ciera waited on us again, and again, she was incredible. The bartender was very friendly when we were coming and going, and the rest of the staff we saw on Super Bowl Sunday seemed very hard working as they prepped take out orders for the game. They have a great space in the dining area to host events. I'm hoping to host something here in the near future. Overall, I think we've found our new go to hang out. I highly recommend Crosstown. It's located on Hill Avenue next to Phillips Park. The happy hour is even on weekends.

The bartender even had time to drink a White Claw, but apparently nobody had time to make sure our food was coming. Eventually, our waitress told us the pizzas were done but "weren't crispy enough," so they were put back in the oven. After already waiting so long, that excuse was hard to believe. Another 15 minutes passed with no pizzas, no updates, and no apology. We finally paid for our beers and left hungry. The most shocking part is that there are very few places like this on Aurora's west side. You would think a neighborhood bar with so little competition would value every customer who walks through the door. Instead, we were treated like an inconvenience. If this is how they handle a nearly empty bar, I'd hate to see what happens when they're actually busy. Save yourself the frustration and spend your money somewhere that acts like it wants customers.

They were seriously on top of everything!We opted to have a small wedding and reception of about 50 people due to Covid-19, and we decided to have a very short engagement of only 4 months to race before the virus got really bad. I was in a crunch to find a venue that wasn't my parents backyard, and I had looked at legitimately 300 places before I found Pearces. I reached out to inquire for more info, and Chris got back to me ASAP and had me out there to show me the grounds and talk prices with me very last minute. Their grounds are beautiful; the golf course is very well maintained and their patio/deck has a great feel. We had our ceremony on the golf grounds and had several areas and options to chose, and our sit-down dinner reception in their large tented area in the back by the ceremony area. They took covid protocols seriously as well. The tent was beautiful, clean and huge! Their communication was excellent; I had several questions/concerns as a bride who is trying to plan a short notice wedding with covid restrictions, so needless to say I was a little crazy. They took the time to respond and answer all of my questions, and made me feel very at ease. The venue situation was the least of my worries during the entire 4 months of planning! The price for the venue was OUTSTANDING and the food options and packages were amazing. We chose the chicken and salmon food package and my guests continue to tell me how good the food was! It has been a while since I saw some meaty wings and I appreciated the size of them! My daughter meal was huge. It came with a big piece of melted grilled cheese and a lot of fries. Overall, the atmosphere is like a bar but the front did felt more like a restaurant. Food was pretty good. Prices were very reasonable. The service was great and very friendly. Overall, I would see myself coming back to here in the future.
