It's honestly impressive to provide service this bad in a bar that was practically empty. When we walked in, there were maybe two people sitting at the bar and another couple playing the gambling machines. We seated ourselves and even let the bartender know we were there, then waited about 10 minutes before anyone bothered to come over. We ordered two beers and two pizzas. We had enough time to finish both beers while watching our waitress and the bartender stand around talking at the bar. The bartender even had time to drink a White Claw, but apparently nobody had time to make sure our food was coming. Eventually, our waitress told us the pizzas were done but "weren't crispy enough," so they were put back in the oven. After already waiting so long, that excuse was hard to believe. Another 15 minutes passed with no pizzas, no updates, and no apology. We finally paid for our beers and left hungry. The most shocking part is that there are very few places like this on Aurora's west side. You would think a neighborhood bar with so little competition would value every customer who walks through the door. Instead, we were treated like an inconvenience. If this is how they handle a nearly empty bar, I'd hate to see what happens when they're actually busy. Save yourself the frustration and spend your money somewhere that acts like it wants customers. read more

Called to order 2 pizzas at 3:40 for pick up at 4:45. The woman who answered the phone said pick up at 5:45? I responded " no" - 4:45...in one hour. Bad service with decent food. We arrived Tuesday around 615pm to find only 2 other tables were occupied (group of 4 and 2) when we asked the server Rayvn about their Tuesday 1/2 price apps special she said that was only till 6pm (not mentioned on Instagram) we said ok ordered a soft drink and water... when we ordered our or food asked if there were and drink specials and were told no with no attempt to suggest a drink... The food was decent to good except for stale chips... The Nachos were plentiful and a good deal for the price however every single chip was stale and really a let down. read more

Its a nice little local spot - with potential. Location is hidden, so great food is necessary to draw the crowds. The Chopped salad had great taste but it was not worth the price ($18) Huge chunks of lettuce and very little protein or toppings. The salad bowl was small and awkward.. making things messy. First thing I want to tell you that I ate here on Friday for the fish. It wasn't too bad. The coleslaw was terrible. The kicker is that they are charging a ridiculous amount if you use a credit card. Not cool especially for a not cheap restaurant. The main reason for the bad rating was the pizza that they serve. It was absolutely the worst pizza I have ever had. We went there last night Sunday 5/25 sat at the bar ordered 2 drinks looked over menu than ordered cauliflower appetizer my husband finished his drink still no cauliflower. There were 3 or 4 others at bar not busy so than we asked to cancel our cauliflower cause we wanted to leave bartender ran back to kitchen brought it out in a to go but yet it was for there . He never took it off our bill my husband had two twenty dollar bills out with the bill being $28. And bartender never offered change and should have never needed to pay for something we ordered and never GOT !!! Terrible. read more

I ordered a burger and my wife pizza. Both were good. However I finished my burger before my wife's pizza arrived. She ended up eating it at home. During this time our server, Tara was great. She kept checking with us and with the manager to try to get things speeded up. You couldn't ask for a better server or a nicer person. read more

We came here for a car meet and figured we try a new spot. Place was fairly empty with literally 3 tables and a few people at the bar. Quick to greet us and bring us our water. That was the end of them being prompt. We waited for our orders to be taken while the server was taking selfies up front. It wasn't until my partner and I stared at her that she noticed and came to take our order. Food took a bit and it wasn't anything to write about. It was ok at best. It also took long to get our check. When we got the check and was waiting for the server to take it, I went to the bathroom where our server was dancing with another worker in the middle of the back hall while I was trying to go around them to get to the bathroom. I don't care if they want to do a TikTok or whatever but there's a time and place and not when you have customers waiting on their servers. Unfortunately, all this happened after the manager/owner was passing by asking how everything was. Ate the burgers for their deal here a few months back. There is a few options to choose from. I attached the photos from our experience. It was Meh... The burgers were cooked to order. I typically get mine medium. The choices for burgers were so so. The sriracha patty melt was a bit weird for my taste. The best thing I thought were the churros we had for desert. There was whipped cream and caramel sauce to dip them in. It would be a bit nice for some chocolate sauce and maybe a cup of caramel for the price? Sad news. Now that the original owners sold AC's Pub, the place has really slipped. We LOVED this place but now it is a sad disappointment. We visited tonight - a Friday night at peak dinner time. The place was only about 1/4 full. I ordered a cocktail which used to be delicious and is now so sugary-sweet you can't even drink it. I ordered my favorite dinner off the menu: Honey Jack Glazed Salmon. First, I am not even certain it WAS salmon. It didn't taste like salmon. Second, it was so overdone it was dry and almost tasteless except for the excessive amount of black pepper they showered on it. OK, new owner, new cook, I get it, it is different. But the disappointment continued with the server who was too busy socializing to take care of us. We finally had to go try to hunt her down to get our bill. Another waitress told her we needed our bill. She never came and another waitress finally brought our bill. We will truly miss the OLD AC's Pub. We will not return to it under the new ownership. :( read more

Food (with the exception of their pizza) has progressively gotten worse with the new owners. Been there many times thinking things will get better, however that just hasn't happened. Thought I'd written a review of AC's before as I've been here several times. We made our most recent stop last week. Anyways..we came to AC's a few years ago with some friends at their suggestion. Seems they had some kind of margarita deal where you got to keep the glass. I still have the glass..maybe that reminded me to finally write the review. AC's has a large menu with Americana choices. Basically something for everyone. I generally get the Club or BLT, but other dishes I've seen have looked equally appetizing. AC's always has great, speedy service and what they do better than most is serve a larger plate portion. I can't stand the restaurants that bring out a child's size portion while changing an adult price. It's very casual and laid back here..always with customers. They have a bar area with games and darts, with the rest being general table seating. I believe they offer outside seating in warm weather but oddly, we've only been here in the winter. My wife and I stopped in this past Saturday after a late day of work to grab a quick bite and some drinks to relax. The food is the traditional bar food style, but it was done better than the usual chain restaurants. The wings were jumbo and the sauce was really good. The seating in the bar area is smaller, the setup is comfortable, the TVs were nice and the service was super fast and friendly. We will definitely be stopping back in again.
