Great bar! And the best part - a lot of hockey. Cozy and friendly atmosphere, many TVs with sports, music, and great food, drinks, and service!

This is a wonderful place! The staff is very nice! Music is just what the doctor ordered after a long day at work. The prices are spot on and the food is just what you want with a few drinks and some good conversations.

Green line beer and Cabernet. Match made in heaven?

For me, Chelios' is exactly what I expected. Meh food, cheap drinks, and plenty of hockey fans. It was hard for me to be as let down as other folks were, because given the area and the fact that this pub is in a strip mall, I kind of got what I expected. Could it be better? Yes. Is it a convenient local spot to catch a game? Yes. Would I go there for the food? Definitely not. I've been here twice now. The first time being last spring with my family for drinks when my husband and I were house shopping. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for drinks and what ended up being food as well because we stuck around so long. Their $5 log island special got the best of us so we just kept on sippin'! I ordered the buffalo chicken salad and while I didn't have any specific complaints, it definitely wasn't the best salad I've ever had. This last visit in, my husband and I came to catch a little of the Blackhawk's game, enjoy a drink and some dinner. We sat ourselves at a high top table near the big screen close to the bar and were greeted promptly. You could tell everyone in the place were either regulars or strictly in for the game. Chelio's of course is a hockey bar, so all of their specials are hockey themed. They even have a couple red buzzers on the ceilings by the bar that go off when the hawks score - pretty cool! Here are my highs and lows of our eventing... Highs: - Food and drink specials! I enjoyed a $4 glass of cabernet and the Chicken ZaZa daily special which included mozzarella, grilled veggies, rice pilaf, garlic bread and a cup of soup of my choice (I went with tomato). - Chicken and veggies were very good! - Our waitress was friendly and on top of her game - Plenty of TVs to enjoy the game - Total bill for a glass of wine, a beer, and two meals was $30! Lows: - Tomato soup was so-so - Garlic bread was a joke. It might as well have been cardboard because it didn't taste like much. - Rice pilaf was okay, but honestly the kind I make out of a box I think is better. - SUPER loud. Granted the hubs and I didn't go there for an intimate night, but I literally had to shout across our small table just to make a comment. High/Low: We were in and out in a little less than an hour. Take that as you will.

Took us 30 minutes to realize their lackluster menu items weren't worth it and the service never showed back up.

We went to the bar and asked if we seat ourselves... the bartender called the waitress over and she sat us right away. The menu has lots of great food options... pizza... tacos... salads... sandwiches and even desserts. We ordered 20 wings. 10 mild and 10 garlic parmesan. With a side of blue cheese for dipping. (Posted a video, not sure if it will show up on our review but you should be able to find it when searching images) The mild wings were really yummy! They were very flavorful! The garlic parmesan sauce was not my favorite... kind of blah and did not taste like there was any parmesan in the sauce... however the chicken wings were still cooked to perfect. Juicy chicken with a crispy coating.. the wings also were trimmed nicely.. no cartilage or gummy pieces. I would definitely dine here again! Our waitress kept checking in on us and gave us refills and she was very kind and loved her service with a smile!

Riverside Pizza & Pub is one of the better hangouts for those having good times. A wait is worth it mostly. The prices are okay for the big portions. Coming in here it was a few minutes before getting seats at the bar. It's often a longer wait for getting a table. There's often games people are watching. A great place to come for it. Has plenty of big TVs on the walls. It's about $8 a pint for local beers. That's kind of a lot. A lot of cocktails are cheaper at happy hour. It's about $11 for a martini. These of course go pretty great with Italian food and they're cheaper at the happy hour too. It's about $13 for the Build Your Own Pasta. You choose sauces and toppings. Of course pizza is the main thing to get. There's a lot of great specials Got stuffed eating so much from here. It's got a couple other locations which are pretty much the same things to get really. When we're in town, we hit up all the old favorites, and Miller's Ale House was on the menu on June 25th. We had dinner plans with friends later, but we squeezed in a lunch date with beer and a shared appetizer. Their wings are legendary, so we ordered 12 to go with our brews. Let's get to the review. Service was top-notch - our host greeted us with a smile, and our waiter was on point. We got our beers within five minutes, no problem. The ambiance was cozy, well-lit, and bustling with sports tv and ambient noise. But here's the kicker - we waited 30 minutes for our wings. Yeah, it was 1:30 when we arrived and the place was pretty empty, but that's no excuse. Now why did give a rating of two? Well, for the service and ambiance only. We were served our wings at 2:00. How were the wings you maybe wondering? My Husband and I eagerly grab wing flats. 'Can these bones live?' Eating those wings immediately reminded me of Ezekiel 37 in the Old testament after he saw skeletons scattered about asked, "Can these bones live?" The wings were drier than the Sahara, and the honey barbecue sauce was just a weak attempt to revive the corpse. Can these dry out wings live up to being freshly made and juicy covered up by a tasty honey barque sauce? Hell to the naw, naw naw!!! We called our waiter over explained our dissatisfaction with a request to remove the wings off our bill. We still tipped him, because hey, he's not the wing assassin. since he only served the food and it was the kitchen that prepared that saucy dressed up trash plated up real pretty. What a let down Miller's. We noticed your price increase for six wings cut in half sold as 12 pieces. If you expect customers to pay more for less than you should be serving your best, that is cooked fresh not food that is precooked sitting for hours then reheated. I did check your reviews which were not the best and gave you the benefit of a doubt despite low ratings. Would I recommend Miller's? Sure, if you enjoy eating dry wings and wondering if they'll crawl off your plate. However, to each their own, your money, your call. This economy has got me rethinking the whole 'strike three and you're out' deal. Paying more for less, subpar service, unnecessary waiting time, honey it is now, strike one, you're on out as my time and coins are valuable and restaurants are hurting so I will search for one where I can get the love I deserve.
