Went in to check it out. Small but nice. Drinks are slightly overpriced for the area but they are so good. Great service great conversation with the servers. Will be back for sure

Has the look of a speakeasy but people in here sure aren't speaking easy. It's actually always kind of loud to be honest. 933 Speakeasy is located on the upper floor of Embers in Lockport. A lot of noise is coming from there as well, which kind of affects the atmosphere. That's the only negative about it though as it has terrific retro drinks and the prices aren't crazy bad for these. Came by on a weekend because it's only open at the end of the week of course. It's not that hard to find, because there's signs pointing the way up the stairs. The upper floor looks a lot like a speakeasy as getting in involves taking some twists and turns. Has a menu of classics and house concoctions. It's about $13 for most cocktails, but these are high quality. We got a couple and liked these. I got the Zelda Sayre, which is a Painkiller. This is a classic one with a tropical theme. Strong but easy. This has coconut, dark rum, orange juice, and pineapple juice. Also has a big whiskey list. There's tons to choose from if you're okay shelling out for the best stuff. Even though the music and noise can be too loud, it still resembles a speakeasy in cocktails and looks. It's open Thursdays to Saturdays. There's also small bites but unfortunately nothing good for vegetarians.

Located on the third floor above Embers A smallish but trendy cocktail bar There is the bar area and two side rooms Good service as there were three bartenders working the bar during visit The side rooms can accommodate groups And booked for private events. There is an elevator in the building making easy access There is a public parking lot behind the building just across the rail road tracks

A bar interior decorated for the holidays, featuring drinks on the counter, a TV displaying a man, and a person dressed as Santa in the background.

Friendly, cozy, and a fantastic drink menu. Great atmosphere with live entertainment on select days. Nick and Sue always take good care of you.

Louis Armstrong... an elegant old fashioned! - A cocktail glass with a lemon wedge is placed on a dark, polished bar counter in a low-light bar setting.

It's a very intimate place. Drinks and food were delicious. Get there a little earlier in case you have to wait to sit.

The restaurant itself feels very intimate and exclusive because of its size. The drinks menu has something for everyone where the food menu focuses on specialty items you can't find at most other restaurants in the area. For cocktails, I highly recommend their martini service. I got both the French Martini and Espresso Martini and thoroughly enjoyed them both! My SIL also got the Vesper Martini which was surprisingly amazing. All had a unique flavor profile, spirit forward, but also balanced well. My husband also got the TG Bees Knees which was delicious. For food, we started with the Baked Feta. This came with four warm pieces of bread to pair with the warm feta and sauce. For entrees, our waitress said the most popular dishes were the Duck and Seasonal Catch. My husband ordered the Pan Roasted Duck and enjoyed the tenderness and flavor. I ordered the Ravioli Au Dauphine which was served as a sheet. I enjoyed the filling flavor mixed with the sauce and cheese topping. It was the perfect winter pasta. My brother and SIL shared the Pork Belly Confit and Pan Seared Scallops. All dishes came out with a beautiful presentation. Across the board the portions seemed a bit small but you could taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients they used. Gabby waited on our table and was such a joy. She was smiling always, made some great recommendations, gave us a good laugh at times, and was kind to take our photo to savor the night. I definitely enjoyed my experience at Tallgrass and it truly was the perfect dinner spot to splurge with.

Once seated, our waiter took our drink orders and they made good cocktails. Then, we ordered an appetizer and dinner at the same time for ease. Then...we waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, we asked about our appetizer and they said it would be coming out soon. People who were seated after us got served but our food hadn't come. And we waited. The food was delicious when we got it, but it took a really long time. I ordered the most expensive item on the menu and I'd give it a 10 out of 10 for flavors- Torro carne asada! The queso fundido and the tacos were also delicious! When they brought the bill, it was clear they knew the experience overall wasn't great because they put two cards for $10 off two meals but didn't say anything about the experience. I would have appreciated a gesture during the time we were there - an appetizer, a drink, another thing to try, just to say, sorry about the wait and we value you and your experience, but that didn't happen. We were so excited to have a new place, but I don't think we'll go back.

Morgan's is on the main road on the north side of Lockport. Has a run down kind of look from the outside but that's a trick apparently. The inside is larger than you think it would be, and there's plenty of room for parties and gatherings. Better menu than expected from such a bar, as it's not just some junk food. It has fries and stuff yes but some actual meals. There's also some drink specials. It's about $5 for most beers on tap, and the specials are even cheaper. We shared a basket of fries. It's about $3 for appetizers. The entrees are kind of meaty, with items such as tenderloin. If you like that kind of stuff, for sure it looked pretty good. That being said, it has a few healthier items like salads. Got to say this beats the expectations for a bar out in the middle of nowhere most people would choose to be in. It has a pretty clean atmosphere and the staff is attentive and friendly to most. There's lots of daily specials on things like buckets of domestics, and the food is okay enough and not just fried things.

Beautiful bar and comfortable dining room. It's divided up so it doesn't feel packed even when it's full. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. They have a nice selection of craft beers and house cocktails. The food was amazing. I went with a group of five and got to try a couple of things. Salad was amazing (that's strange to write but true) Tenderloin was great, chicken tenders are homemade not premise. I was very impressed. This is one of the best lunch spots in town. I'm sure dinner is just as good. I highly recommend and ask for Margot if you want a fun night waitress.
