Food: Delicious umami ramen that is the most authentic for Denver metro area. You can pick DIY ramen as well which is awesome. Reasonable price. My tonkatsu broth is not too salty & the topping came in good portion as well. Service: I went on Saturday afternoon which is quite busy, but I get a table within 5--10 mins waited time. Good overall service. Ambiance: Japanese theme decor, clean bathroom. I like all the Japanese decor & the wooden spoon utensil made it even more umami. Overall: Will definitely be my go to spot for ramen when I visiting Denver.

What better meal on a cold winter's night than soup, and specifically a rich, hearty ramen. Our group of four each ordered a different kind and several appetizers. First, the pork buns, takoyaki, and karage were all delicious! The edamame had a nice seasoning (honestly it seemed like a Cajun blend of some sort, but that wasn't a bad thing). As for the ramen, we all enjoyed our selection, though I think mine could have had a bit more depth of flavor. The spicier broths won the evening for us.

food presentation was on point here. amazing flavors and big portions... definitely worth the money (although not too pricey at all). i wish there were just a few more vegetarian options, but overall, a great menu selection. our service was quick and accurate. the server was friendly, and the atmosphere was low-key.

Delicious. I got the hataka tontaksu. It's Smokey and salty and perfect. Parking in lot behind makes broadway easier to navigate. 10/10 recommend. Fast service too

my bestie's fave ramen place and now becoming mine. we loved both of our bowls and had leftovers that heated up great the next day too. everything was fresh and delicious. note that im not a ramen connoisseur but out of the three or four times I've had ramen, i loved it. kind of awkward entrance directly on colorado but once you see it on colorado, you will know where to go!

Great ramen spot with gluten free noodles - best I've ever had! They held their shape and didn't break apart which I have never found until now. My server was also very knowledgeable about what was gluten free and what wasn't. The extra $5 for GF noodles is a little steep but at least they were good. If I lived in Denver I'd be back all the time.

I got to D.Y.I bowl and it was absolutely delicious. The water was ice cold and fun atmosphere. The service was great.

Kimchi Ramen

The food was hearty and came out quick. The bowls are pretty big so we both left with leftovers. I wouldn't consider the kimchi ramen spicy so I'm excited to go back and try the Godzilla!

the Chicken Shoyu was SOOOOOO good and the waiter was so very kind. I recommend to anyone stopping in Denver!

the food was immaculate, the ambiance was inviting and refreshing and the waiter was so very kind and efficient. I recommend this place HIGHLY if you are stopping in Denver. (no pun intended)

We had a good experience overall. The wait staff was nice and service was super quick - though as a note, we were one of the first ones in the restaurant at 5:30pm on a Sunday evening, but by the time we were leaving after 6, the space was almost full. The chasu pork buns were yummy, and everything in the ramen was just right. Tender meat, soup not overly salty, and a good portion for the price.

I thought this was pretty bad ramen. The service and everything was fine. Nothing spectacular. This is kind of a you have to know it's there type place. I was facing the door so I didn't get a feel for the vibe. I had the hankatsu ramen. The broth lacked depth and flavor. The noodles were good but there were almost too many and my biggest problem was with the pork. It was hard, inedible, and a giant chunk that because it was so hard you couldn't not break it up into smaller pieces. Every other place I've had ramen the pork is tender and you can easily break it apart. This place really disappointed.

This restaurant was super fun! They had anime playing in the background, fun music, Christmas lights up, and lots of delicious foods to choose from. Perfect for a cold day to warm up with ramen! They serve traditional ramens from different regions in Japan- Hakata Tonkptsu, Sapporo Miso, Tokyo Shoyu and Nagasaki Seafood. The service is fast and friendly and helped answer any questions you have on different food options and how they are made. The ingredients were fresh and high quality. Parking can be a bit tricky at times on Broadway but it's worth the it!

The vibe is fast and loud, but the servers are super efficient and communicative. I really liked the tokidoki roll and hamachikama. Hard to go wrong with those! The hamachi kama was HUGE. They give you the entier collar! I also liked the yaki ika which was very tasty, not rubbery at all. They have a lot of ramen on the menu which was a crowd pleaser for our group. Their edamame is also very spicy and quite good -- not your typical simply salted edamame. One thing I wouldn't order - the kimchi fried rice. Drink menu featured several imported Japanese bottled beers on top of the common ones at reasonable price. Ended up getting the house salad, chicken yakitori, spicy tonkatsu ramen and yaki ika. All tasted good, no complaints. Spicy tonkatsu ramen had rich broth, chatsu was grilled and plenty. Repeat

Uncle makes me want to move to Denver! To start the ambiance is really chill and inviting with warm lighting and offers countertop as well as table seating. Our server was amazing and explained the menu well and made some recommendations that did not disappoint. We ordered way to much food but I do not regret that because I got to try so many amazing dishes. Despite ordering so many options they even brought us a chilled tofu dish complimentary (no clue why but not complaining) and it was lovely! We shared the uncle salad (amazing!), thai shrimp, eggplant buns, several different nigiri/aburi nigiri and sashimi and the toro toro and spicy tuna roll. All of the sushi was fresh and had excellent pairing of accompaniments. The only dish that I remember being a miss was the soft shell crab buns. The proportion of bun to interior was off and there was way too much mayo. Everyone got their own ramen which they seemed to love. I ordered the Veggie Khao Soi per our servers recommendation and I am still thinking about it weeks later. It was a curry/ramen mix and had big chunks of trumpet mushrooms in it and the perfect amount of spice that I love. Denverites I am jealous you have Uncle and anyone visiting make sure to add it to your list!

What a cute little place!!…read more It was late in the evening and I was getting hangry. I was craving ramen and Neko came up during my Yelp research. They were open late, so we decided to go. The restaurant was popping at 22:00 on a Friday. We were greeted warmly by staff. It was intriguing to us that we ordered via an iPad kiosk as if we were at a boba place, but we didn't mind. However, usually only to go orders are placed on a kiosk. In my hangry state of mind, I had not realized that Neko only serves their ramen with chicken broth, so for those of you who prefer tonkotsu broth, this isn't the place for you. For that reason, my husband had to order a chashu rice bowl instead. Personally, I enjoy both paitan and tonkotsu. I went with the black garlic ramen. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive. While we waited, we dispensed water for ourselves from the soda fountain. I was a little confused upon receiving my black garlic ramen, as I thought the black garlic oil would be more prominent. I was assured that I had the right bowl. My husband enjoyed his chashu rice bowl. I had a small bite and the pork was tender and well-seasoned. The paitan broth was very umami indeed. I would have liked to have more of a black garlic flavor, but it was still good. Next time I would just pay the extra $2 for more black garlic oil. The noodles were bouncy, and the chashu was tender. The egg was deliciously jammy (alas no photo because I devoured it). I saw they had soy sauce and hot sauce, but wish they had the classic chili powder so I could have added some to my ramen. Neko Ramen & Rice hit for late night noms, and the cat-themed decor all around (since Neko means cat in Japanese) was such a vibe. They also serve curry, poke, and various small bites if you want some apps to enjoy before your entrees. If you don't mind chicken broth for your ramen or will be ordering rice bowls instead, Neko is a fun little place to come dine at, especially since they open late.

We started with the cucumber salad and shrimp shumai. Having been here multiple times, I cannot recommend this place enough for a homey style meal. No joke, each meal here makes you feel warm inside, like a good home cooked meal. It's comparable to many meals I've had traveling through out real Japan. The flavors are simple, but each dish is well prepared while emphasizing conform over fancy preparation. You just cannot go wrong with any dish here, though I'm partial to the donburi, the green tea soba, and the hot pot. And if the meal is not enough, there is a beautiful garden to enjoy.
