Under any other circumstances I would have probably given 4 starts....but..... I'm from out of town so cannot come back anytime soon. To all locals - please support this business. The restaurant is nicely designed (though I wish they would dim the lighting a tad), immaculately clean and the staff could not be friendlier - and the food was excellent. The location is a bit odd to find because of local construction - but you basically have to park in a strip mall lot and then walk by some construction fencing to find them. They are open till midnight making it an even better find. I had the seafood ramen - a bit on the spicy side - but for $26 it's a huge bargain considering you get a full lobster tail. The Japanese love a good whiskey sour - and their take on one is superb. I'd be so happy if I came back to Denver and find them thriving - they deserve it!

Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen and Chicken Ramen with Chicken Karaage

Wowwwww this place found us at the perfect time, everything else was packed and busy and this place was open late , not too busy which is surprising with how delicious and accessible this restaurant is , ample parking , clean dining area , excellent service and the ramen is so complex and flavorful with such good portions at an amazing price point. This place is wonderful come eat !!!!!!

Gyoza Jasmine Green Tea Tonkotsu Ramen

On the outside, Toki Ramen and Sushi is unassuming... right off of Colorado boulevard by a fast food drive through in a strip mall? But the moment you walk in, it's is obviously a diamond in the rough. Greeted with fabulous service at every interval, a server nearby if needed (but not hovering), and an ambiance of calm, clean minimalism, and full of intentionally touches. If you're curious, I am sitting in the restaurant right now writing this, because I HAD TOOO - get your butts over here! I went for lunch and got the special - a fabulous deal in my opinion! A plate of six gyoza and a full sized tonkotsu ramen for $20! A cup of steaming jasmine green tea on the side - I couldn't resist! The gyoza and ramen came out in great timing, allowing me to polish off my delicious gyoza while the ramen cooled down a bit. The gyoza struck the chord on all components of a great gyoza (the crunch at the base, the soft thing wrapper, a delicious and simple inside that excites your pallet like a good appetizer but not filling you up)! The ramen was delicious (I'm still eating it as I write this review) - all components had the perfect levels of flavor to enhance one another, nothing took over in the dish, instead a perfect balances medley sat in my bowl. I already texted my roommate about Toki and will be taking her here ASAP! Ambiance, yes! Taste, yes! Texture, yes! Presentation, yes! Service, yes! Over all, Toki is a major YES, PLEASE!

The food was good. I got the Tonkatsu Shoyu ramen and the noodles had a great texture and had a rich broth. It was a little salty for me but it would be great for others. The restaurant was nice and comfortable and the service was also good and attentive. Everything here was good.

Buddha beer and the Frostiest mug you've ever seen

Great new and cute spot. Staff were friendly and food came fast. Was feeling seafood and the seafood ramen hit the spot. Also had the Buddha beer - served in a frosty mug - and a rainbow roll. Honestly the seafood ramen was the star and such a great value for what you get. It was full of scallops, clams, shrimp, an entire lobster tail, and a marinated egg. Hot, filling and oh so flavorful! We'll be back to try some of their interesting cocktails.

Love this place! Very tasty. Nice staff! The california roll is my favorite! Nice desserts too.

The vibe is fast and loud, but the servers are super efficient and communicative. I really liked the tokidoki roll and hamachikama. Hard to go wrong with those! The hamachi kama was HUGE. They give you the entier collar! I also liked the yaki ika which was very tasty, not rubbery at all. They have a lot of ramen on the menu which was a crowd pleaser for our group. Their edamame is also very spicy and quite good -- not your typical simply salted edamame. One thing I wouldn't order - the kimchi fried rice. One person in our party ordered it but it wasn't really fried rice, just kimchi and meat mixed with steamed white rice.

You can try to park at the free parking, off the street or on the street. It was Sunday 3 pm and parking was no problem. Ambiance. Very Japanese like feeling with knick knacks every where with banners, akachõchin. Sushi bar takes one side and also a small bar to the back. Drink menu featured several imported Japanese bottled beers on top of the common ones at reasonable price. Ended up getting the house salad, chicken yakitori, spicy tonkatsu ramen and yaki ika. All tasted good, no complaints. Spicy tonkatsu ramen had rich broth, chatsu was grilled and plenty. Repeat

Uncle makes me want to move to Denver! To start the ambiance is really chill and inviting with warm lighting and offers countertop as well as table seating. Our server was amazing and explained the menu well and made some recommendations that did not disappoint. We ordered way to much food but I do not regret that because I got to try so many amazing dishes. Despite ordering so many options they even brought us a chilled tofu dish complimentary (no clue why but not complaining) and it was lovely! We shared the uncle salad (amazing!), thai shrimp, eggplant buns, several different nigiri/aburi nigiri and sashimi and the toro toro and spicy tuna roll. All of the sushi was fresh and had excellent pairing of accompaniments. The only dish that I remember being a miss was the soft shell crab buns. The proportion of bun to interior was off and there was way too much mayo. Everyone got their own ramen which they seemed to love. I ordered the Veggie Khao Soi per our servers recommendation and I am still thinking about it weeks later. It was a curry/ramen mix and had big chunks of trumpet mushrooms in it and the perfect amount of spice that I love. Denverites I am jealous you have Uncle and anyone visiting make sure to add it to your list!

Would definitely go back again. We want to try some of the other flavors of Ramen.

I didn't know what to expect, but it was incredible - one of my favorite ramens I've ever had in Denver. It felt very comforting and delicious.

What a cute little place!!…read more It was late in the evening and I was getting hangry. I was craving ramen and Neko came up during my Yelp research. They were open late, so we decided to go. The restaurant was popping at 22:00 on a Friday. We were greeted warmly by staff. It was intriguing to us that we ordered via an iPad kiosk as if we were at a boba place, but we didn't mind. However, usually only to go orders are placed on a kiosk. In my hangry state of mind, I had not realized that Neko only serves their ramen with chicken broth, so for those of you who prefer tonkotsu broth, this isn't the place for you. For that reason, my husband had to order a chashu rice bowl instead. Personally, I enjoy both paitan and tonkotsu. I went with the black garlic ramen. It didn't take very long for our food to arrive. While we waited, we dispensed water for ourselves from the soda fountain. I was a little confused upon receiving my black garlic ramen, as I thought the black garlic oil would be more prominent. I was assured that I had the right bowl. My husband enjoyed his chashu rice bowl. I had a small bite and the pork was tender and well-seasoned. The paitan broth was very umami indeed. I would have liked to have more of a black garlic flavor, but it was still good. Next time I would just pay the extra $2 for more black garlic oil. The noodles were bouncy, and the chashu was tender. The egg was deliciously jammy (alas no photo because I devoured it). I saw they had soy sauce and hot sauce, but wish they had the classic chili powder so I could have added some to my ramen. Neko Ramen & Rice hit for late night noms, and the cat-themed decor all around (since Neko means cat in Japanese) was such a vibe. They also serve curry, poke, and various small bites if you want some apps to enjoy before your entrees. If you don't mind chicken broth for your ramen or will be ordering rice bowls instead, Neko is a fun little place to come dine at, especially since they open late.

We also really enjoyed the chili wontons, pork belly skewers, and Kobe beef buns - all were super high quality and packed with flavor. When I walked in, it felt more like a club than a traditional restaurant. The music was loud, the energy was high, and the crowd was definitely on the younger side. Honestly, I've never really experienced anything quite like it--part restaurant, part nightlife vibe--but it was kind of cool in its own way. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered sushi along with a seaweed salad and an Old Fashioned. The food was actually really good--fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot after the show. That said, if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing dinner, this probably isn't your place. But if you're open to a lively atmosphere and something a little different, it's a fun experience. I enjoyed my food, soaked in the vibe, and left glad I gave it a try.

5 stars across the board…read more We were literally at Stella next door the night before and I heard there was gonna be cold rain the next day. So we decided to get a hot bowl of ramen to clear ourselves right up. I have to admit while we have had pretty good ramen in Colorado nothing has blown us away. This place did just that. If you are looking for the most authentic bowl of ramen anywhere within a 20-30 Radius of Denver this is your spot. I got the sesame pork belly ramen bowl and my wife the chicken dashi and both were spectacular. I know this sounds like a lot of exaggerating but no notes. Seriously ZERO! This small ramen shop is a hidden little gem in Denver. The service was great, even if our waiter was on his first day and stumbled a bit. He was attentive, eager, and happy to help with a smile on his face. The food was excellent as well, ranging from crispy gyoza and chicken karaage to various ramen dishes. The only downside was the karaage, which was slightly different than what I was used to, but it was still delicious. We left with our stomachs full, smiles on our faces, and a warm goodbye that has turned into a "see you later," as I will definitely be back.

To eat, I got my favorite aburi tuna, which I always make sure to try if a place has them. It was so good, I love the seared flavor and the fish was so fresh, the texture was perfect. We also got the fried rice, it is served with the staff, mixing the yolk of an egg into the dish at the table in front of you. This made it so rich and delicious, and felt like a show. I was really impressed by the rice itself too, nothing simple about it. The flavors were so dynamic, and everything was cooked to perfection. We also had the black miso cod, this might have been the highlight dish. It was so tender and supple, melting at the touch of a fork and even better in your mouth. The flavors were unbelievable, and it leaves you wanting more. The area is pretty central to wash park, a quick five or 10 minute walk over to Broadway after dinner is easy and accessible too. Totally will be back
