This place at the mall somewhere. As luck would have it, the entrance we choose is where this restaurant! It's a really small place. When we came in there's only 2 workers! One as waiter, hostess and clean table. The other is cooking. Luckily we don't wait all that long for the food considering only 2 of them. The broth is very flavorful. We shared the tonkatsu black. It has very good garlic flavor. Very rich. It also has standard chasu which is tasty only it was very thin and only 2 slices. The eggs cooked very good, also has the fungus and green onions. I would come back again. It has very limited menu.

It gets me to Conspiracy Comics, Torrid, and Tanghulu. Between the two sets of doors is Sansotei Ramen. For a while, I have flagged dropping by this ramen joint. I decided to have an early dinner after work a couple of Wednesdays ago. Parking is much better on a weekday. I got a spot between Walmart and entrance 9, and walked over. I walked through the door after reading the helpful sign to push it. Push it real good, according to Salt-N-Pepa... haha I was immediately greeted by a woman who would be my server. She led me to a table and I got a menu to peruse. A male staffer was chowing down and a woman behind me was almost done eating when I sat down. It was quiet and nice. A group of three women came in towards the end of my stay. I am normally a miso or shoyu broth person. I looked at how creamy the tonkotsu looked and wanted it. I got it with thick noodles and corn. I also got a Diet Pepsi and gyoza. The former came first. It came in a cup. The carbonation was nice. It tasted crisp. It was cold. I loved it. My ramen and gyoza came together. It was different, but I was fine with it. The gyoza was excellent. The filling was delicious. Each wrapper held everything together. It was pan-fried perfectly. The dipping sauce made each gyoza yummy. I loved the tonkotsu ramen. I normally don't like the smell of tonkotsu. It was different here. The pork smell was down to a minimum. The broth was creamy and full of body. I loved it so much that I drank the whole thing. I have never done that with tonkotsu broth ever. I got thick noodles. They were chewy and bouncy. So good! The chachu was excellent. I got two decent slices. They were so yummy with the egg, black fungus, and green onion. The corn elevated this bowl of ramen. I have been thinking about this ramen ever since. It was excellent. I paid for my meal at the counter. I used a credit card to pay. I tipped and tapped. Done! I used the washroom before I headed into the mall. It was was a single stall for everyone. It was clean and inviting. I particularly liked the complimentary sanitary products for women. This ramen place was excellent. I can't wait to return. (144)

There was the correct flavour profile for both but it was not strong enough. Nasi Lemak: the rice had a super light coconut scent & no taste (it tasted like normal white rice). The sambal was super spicy & had some coconut in it. Spiciness aside it was pretty good. The chicken itself seemed was pretty tasty (it was probably ayam bakar, though the flavour didn't penetrate far below the surface) but it was covered with sambal which basically obliterated the underlying taste. The peanuts were good - not too big & some were slightly sweet with some flavoured crust. The anchovies were very deep fried & rather dry. The egg was a ramen egg - pretty good as ramen eggs go, but it didn't go with the dish. The dish was served with Vietnamese fish sauce dip, which didn't go.

We walked in at around ~7 pm on a Saturday and it was looking busy - however, we were seated pretty quickly given there was only 2 of us. Lots of seating inside for different groups, and I appreciate how there was some bar seating that accommodated single patrons. We ordered takoyaki and 2 ramen - I had the regular Tori Paitan while my partner had the God Fire (level 2). You had the option to customize your bowl from beginning to end - from softness of the noodles, saltiness of the broth, extra toppings - this place really reminded me of the local ramen spots we went to when we were in Japan. Despite how busy the restaurant was, the food came out quick!! Takoyaki was delicious and piping hot. The broth for both ramen came out very flavourful and I will say - while my partner loves spicy food and I do not... I cannot imagine what level 4 would taste like, level 2 definitely had a kick! The staff were amazing and navigated a small space so well. We really enjoyed our dinner - we were in and out within an hour. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend!

Only downside of the location is the parking situation which is more complex since it occupies one of the ground units of a condo. The current Summer deal is great value, at $15 for a sparkling drink, fries, and a basic ramen. You can also add gyoza for free as part of the presto deal, and makes for a great value meal! The ramen broth is flavourful and comes out hot, and makes for a delicious ramen. Have also tried other options like the Beef Mazemen, which again tasted authentic and fresh.
