Spanish latte, white chocolate latte. Mango matcha. Strawberry matcha.

Insane mango matcha. This place is not over or under hyped. It's just that good. Spanish latte was good too although it was in the fridge overnight and I tried it the next day marinated.

Tried the matcha strawberry and it was really good and creamy. I really enjoyed my drink. It was also very refreshing. I would prefer my matcha to be a little stronger though. Overall really great. Service is quick too! I also really wanted to try the pastries but they are a little pricey. Maybe next time!

Heard a lot of hype about this place for their matcha so had to try! They have a huge selection of very epic looking pastries and wide selection of matcha and coffees. Their matcha menu was very extensive and they had a few flavours I've never seen at other matcha places. I got the Matcha Earl Grey which grew on me. The earl grey flavour came across strongly initially but after mixing, the drink was more balanced. Not the strongest matcha flavour in this drink but tasty. Desserts were all very pretty and the 2 I got were delicious (pistachio raspberry and chestnut croissants). They definitely didn't skim out on the filling. Service was quick despite the long line. They had one person taking pastry orders, one cashing people out and 2-3 making drinks in the back. This place is located in a Chinese food court so no fancy seating or designated cafe space. Despite that, it's quite popular and you could see most people were here for the matcha. I get the hype.

Finally a good matcha place in Mississauga. Didn't have high hopes before because all the places in Toronto blew other options out of the water. Thankfully barburu opened. It was unexpected to see it in a grocery store i've frequented but a pleasant surprise. Quality and strong matcha at reasonable prices. I get the matcha latte at 50% sweet and it works well for me. The matcha mochi flan is absolutely delicious. Rich flavour and properly flakey with just the right amount of mochi in it. I usually order on fantuan so service is quick for the pick up. Quick tip: you can pre order on fantuan app for a discount!

This place is super hyped on social media so I had to go check it out. It's located inside the Yuan Ming supermarket's food court. Tried their regular matcha and the strawberry cream matcha and both were decent but I personally liked the cream version more tha the regular coz of the texture and richness. Wouldn't go all the way to get the matcha though lol it wasn't that extraordinary.

After hearing all the hype on social media about Barburu, I had to check it out! I originally thought it's located inside a supermarket, but actually it's located just outside the supermarket, in the food court area of the plaza. Upon arriving around 1PM, there were 3 people in front of me lining up to place their orders already. Line moved quickly, there was a variety of matcha flavoured drinks to choose from. Pastries looked good but I didn't get any to try myself. Got their strawberry matcha and I thought it was good and creamy! I prefer a stronger, richer matcha taste which this lacked a bit of. However, still a great drink and I'd come back again to try some more flavours!

Matcha jasmine latte & matcha mango latte It's like a hidden gem. I love how they have various matcha latte flavours: blueberry, strawberry... The thick matcha foam is delicious!!!

Such a delicious matcha spot with the most rich matcha. It's located in a convenient store which is certainly unique but the flavour is definitely worth the venture! I had the peach matcha latte and my sister got the earl grey matcha and I personally found the peach matcha latte much thicker and more flavourful! There is also a lot of delicious looking pastries that we will need to try the next time we come visit.

We were in this small food court grabbing some lunch when I noticed Barburu. I wasn't necessarily in the mood for a coffee but I figured I'd check out their offerings. I noticed something called a Dalgona Latte, and after a little googling, I learned that Dalgona is a Korean candy. How could I not try something that unique? I'm so glad I did because this is one delicious concoction. Dalgona turns out to be a honeycomb type candy and it's really good. There are big chunks in the drink, and they're a really fantastic treat after you've finished gulping it down. I really enjoyed this coffee. I'll totally be getting it again if I'm in the area.

Barburu is located in Yuan Ming food court centre. It's not too difficult to find as it is just in the food court of the grocery store. This was my first time visiting here with my sister as she saw a TikTok video of Barburu stating that it had one of the best matcha drinks in town and when we tried it we can confirm that they have some really good matcha! They also have multiple matcha options for you to choose from as seen in the pictures. I tried the guava matcha latte and it was soooo good. I've never had a guava matcha latte so that was interesting tasting both of them combined. They have a variety of unique matcha flavours for you to choose from which I don't see any other place doing. Overall, the only bad thing is that you're going to have to wait in line

I find myself always coming back to this matcha spot when I'm in the area, as they have some pretty good matcha drinks. This spot is located right outside the supermarket and there's usually a line depending on what time you go. I've tried their mango matcha, matcha coconut and new flavour white chocolate matcha latte. All were good and will be back to try more flavours!

Located in a food court beside an Asian grocery store, this store has delicious baked goods and drinks. We tried the milk tea mochi flan - the outer crust was light and crispy with the flan inside being soft and creamy. The milk tea flavor was subtle but present. The mochi had a good chew though slides quite a bit depending on your bite. Price: Expensive but has some delicious and pretty treats

Delicious Iced Strawberry Matcha ! The matcha was so smooth and blended so well with the sweet yey slight tanginess of the strawberry jam. I could drink this every day! Loved it!

My student and I witnessed a minivan plow into a concrete barrier as we were walking over to Kenzo Ramen, steps away from Chatime. We both heard a crunch and knew that it wasn't good. The minivan, a minute later, drove towards us. We saw a huge crack going down the front bumper. I parked at the back of this plaza, where there is a store that sell diapers and adult incontinence pads. There used to be a Goodwill store, but a few new businesses have taken over. Anyway, after my student, a colleague, and I had finished eating a late lunch at Kenzo Ramen last Friday, we headed over to Chatime. I had a free birthday drink waiting for me. I decided to use it towards a regular QQ lychee juice, which comes with tapioca and coconut jelly. I didn't know where to line up after placing my order. I finally figured it out when I saw the small ledge through the huge lineup. I like that you can purchase reusable straws that come with a cleaner. I want to get the purple one. Each kit goes for $5. My drink was ready. I got it, and drove my student and I back to the office. The lychee juice was great. I managed to suck a tapioca ball the wrong way and went into a coughing fit in my car. Luckily, my student knows CPR and didn't have to administer it on me. I now realize that tapioca can be hazardous to your health. Anyway, the tapioca and coconut jelly were delightful when eaten safely and properly! I don't normally visit Chatime, but will definitely go back. I finally found a drink here that I love, minus choking on the tapioca. (209)

Unfortunately, it was also very hot inside, no air conditioning to make it comfortable enough to stay to enjoy your order. The interior is starting to look a little tired, and the boxes on the floor and outdated posters don't help. Nonetheless, the staff was pretty cheery and explained some of the unfamiliar options. We went with the crispy tiramisu tea. The drink was very tasty, but there seemed to be a lot, a lot of boba taking up the container. We had to go outside of the store to get to a washroom, and a cool place to sit and enjoy our drinks. It's too bad because the aesthetic of this chain is usually much nicer and a better place to sit and finish your drinks.

I got 3 drinks: one Jasmine green tea, one classic milk Boba tea and one pineapple tea with Boba. I was not that big of a fan of the pineapple but loved the other ones. I don't like the Boba used as I find it a little too chewy and the taste isn't as good as other Boba pearls I've had. I find this one to have a bit of stronger taste. It's a small shop, but cute. There are board games available and it gives off a cozy/chill vibe. When waiting for your drink, there's a seating area near the door and even a game you can try. The timer/game gives you the chance to win a free drink on the house if you manage to get a perfect 10:00 score (I mean you manage to stop the timer on that time). Product was well packaged. Drink was not too sweet despite not having adjusted the sweetness level, which I liked. The only thing for me was the waiting time which took forever, as in more than 20 minutes to be served. It was busy and there was only 1 person working. 1 person for the entire place, to make drinks and take the orders. I can imagine how much slower it would be during peak hours. I went during non-peak hours and there was only 2 people in store sitting down, yet it took me over 20 minutes to get my drinks.
