    Strawberry Matcha Latte

I was on the hunt for a good matcha while visiting Toronto and was so pleased to be led to Icha Tea. Right on Queen Street, it's a small but cute little coffee shop with authentic matcha. I was thrilled that they were using Maryuku Koyamaen, a matcha brand that I trust, but is increasingly difficult to find. The iced oat strawberry matcha was divine. The strawberry puree wasn't overly sweet and perfectly balanced by the matcha. Also, I love that you have the option of customizing the drink's sweetness. Half sweet was perfect for me. Service was warm, friendly, and speedy. If you're in the area, I'd definitely check it out.

Cute tea shop near Trinity Bellwoods park. I saw so many people holding their matcha latte so I had to try it. The line was quite long in summer, and it seems that many of their drinks are hand-made to order, including the teas are brewed fresh. I liked the flavour of the matcha latte as they use good quality matcha for their drinks, though I just wish the matcha flavour is a little stronger. They also have a nice seating area at the back and it doesn't seem like they have a seating limit which is nice. There aren't really any plus by the tables so this area is more for socialization as opposed to working with a laptop.

This is the second location of the popular bubble tea chain. This location has a large area in the back for working or just hanging out. He also have the tea bar and Tea ceremony similar to the other location. They also have various tea flavored desserts like cakes and pastries. I got the ginger tea and the barista got my order correctly. Washrooms are downstairs and inaccessible.

Super friendly service. Ordered the matcha strawberry latte. The matcha is super smooth and tasty! The strawberry balances out everything! There's also lots of space to sit and chat with your friends in the back.

officially my new favourite tea and tea latte spot! they've got all the classics and then some. my only complaint would be that they only carry 1 size and the milk to tea ratio is off. it would be perfect if they made the drinks with less ice/milk in a smaller cup!

My favourite matcha in Toronto. The quality is great, a favourite of mine is the strawberry Matcha. The store is really nice and so are the barista's!

ICHA TEA, located at Queen and Ossington, specializes in serving traditional Asian teas, bubble tea drinks, desserts, as well as tea cocktails (primarily served at night on Friday and the weekends). The store also sells a variety of gifts including plants and jewelry. The store also has ample seating in the back where you can pass the time chilling with friends or doing work. The uniqueness of ICHA TEA is the fact that the teas are all prepared using loose leaf tea leaves that the owners have sourced elsewhere. When the tea is extracted directly from the leaves themselves, the taste and flavours are enhanced. Unlike other bubble tea shops, you know that when you come to ICHA TEA the tea is made fresh and right in front of you. Overall, a bit pricey but the way the teas are made are of higher quality compared to other bubble tea shops.

I'm very happy to see that their strawberry matcha latte made it to their main menu! This is my fave place to get matcha! It's rich and just the right amount of sweetness. Plus they have good amount of seating for working/hanging out.

Amazing atmosphere. Very clean and with fresh air. It's quiet and lowkey - very healing. The drinks are very good and they make the tea in front of you. The matcha cake roll was very yummy, not overly sweet

If you love milk tea with pronounced tea flavours, this is hands down the best place in Toronto. Be sure to also check out their relaxed tea room in the back. Various photos and arts are on display from time to time. Great ambiance overall.

Check off Icha Tea on your must visit spots if you're looking for a place to relax, study, or to even hangout. High quality drinks are crafted here, as well as loose leaf tea, desserts and you can even experience a traditional tea ceremony Just ask the staff as they'd be more than happy to answer any questions. They have also expanded and opened a second location on Queen St. The interior is much more brighter and very spacious! Be sure to give their new location a visit if you're in the area :) IG: Ayenomz

I've been waiting for ICHA TEA to open its doors since I first saw the sign and looked up the tea house. This being its second location in Toronto, they've taken the opportunity to expand on the concept with even more space. ICHA TEA approaches tea like an art. Whether it's milk bubble tea, or just a hot cup of something fragrant, they combine love and knowledge in order to serve you something special. The staff is extremely warm and friendly, and we're happy to let me know that they've begun their soft opening. Sometimes it's hard to see a place's vision; not so here. Every detail is attended to, and the result is a gorgeous, modern, luxurious experience which adds to the pleasure of ordering from here. I got the Fresh Taro Milk Bubble Tea, and I'd say it was basically exactly as described. The taro isn't really the dominant flavour - more the milk. That's because there isn't any powder here. It's crushed taro that essentially just exists at the bottom of the cup and combines with the tapioca. This is a refined take on bubble tea that I'm thrilled to have got to try. Looking forward to my next visit!

The matcha they use is the viral Marukyu Koyamean's Isuzu, which is refreshing and light.

Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. I absolutely plan to go back for one of their seasonal matcha beverages and to get away from it all. 5/5
