Great Italian spot that wasn't on my radar! Came here for lunch with coworker friends and was blown away. The menu is straightforward with something for everyone, with a decent variety of salads, pastas, entrees, and Neapolitan style pizzas. I always appreciate a one-page menu, knowing that what they do, they do very well. They also had specials which sounded great. Prices are not bad at all for a nice sit-down lunch in 2026. The decor is simple, but still warm and inviting, with a view into the kitchen area. I ordered the Campagnelle Alfredo (with no mushrooms). It was excellent! Friends ordered the risotto special and the pizza and both were very happy also. The staff members were attentive and friendly from the moment we walked in. The host even asked us the name of our friend who was running late so that he could seat her when she arrived. These little things really are nice and added to our experience of feeling welcomed. I can't wait to come back for a glass of wine!

Sugo's is owned by one of St Louis most well known restaurant families, the Del Peitro's. Michael created this restaurant. It's good quality Italian food in a quaint area of Frontenac. I had the bolognese. It has a burrata in the middle which mixes really well with the sauce. I ate every bite. My wife got the lasagna. No way could she eat this massive slice towering five inches off her plate and over six inches long. It's a meal for two or three! The restaurant was pretty full but the service was fast and friendly. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to get to Sugo's but it's close to my house and a regular favorite spot.

Went back to Sugo's to meet a friend for lunch Friday and the risotto of the day was chicken, tomato and asparagus.... I remembered being there months ago and rushed to order risotto. It was equally amazing! The creaminess was off the charts and the Parmesan, the cheesiness... wow. I may never be able to order pasta or pizza there again!

Large parking lot outside. Clean and modern inside. Lots of space. Plenty of outside seating, which was full on a nice Saturday evening. Service was excellent. Food was delicious, did not need to wait too long. The bread was tasty. Had olive oil, cheese, and pepper flakes to supplement. The pizza was amazing. It's thin crust, cooked perfectly. The crust was not burnt and it held up with all the toppings of the Sugo. I would get this again. The rigatoni alla vodka was delish. The right amount of sauce, the flavor was good and was not too salty. Pasta cooked well. Chicken spiedini was well cooked. Not dry at all. Tender. Tasty. All the food was tasty, service was good. I recommend!

My first time here. I really enjoyed it. There's a neighborhood vibe to it. Good menu with variety but nicely limited. Service was great and food and drink very good. Perfect Manhattan was delish and my wife loved her Cosmo. I really enjoyed the Pork Chop Parmigiana- will be back

Sugo's is a really neat looking place with patio seating as well. The patio is not that great as it overlooks the parking lot. But they have done their best to make it cute. The bread and olive oil with parm was great. My meal was pretty good, but i expected it to possibly blow my socks off. Unfortunately it did not. It was chicken pounded down rolled and then cooked. It was very dry unfortunately/over cooked. The sauce was a tomato vodka sauce. Good but did not impress that much! I will be back as I feel they have much better. Thanks

Sugo's is so efficient. I have gone on a lunch hour on multiple occasions. I usually ask for the check with the food and they bring it, but I think that they'd have served me and closed me out in plenty of time even if I didn't. Plenty of space inside for seating. At least two big rooms, I think. And some seating on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. It's a perfect place to eat on a pretty day. The best thing is the food, though. I generally get the spaghetti with tomato sauce. It's delicious! It comes with meat, but they hold the meat AND they discount the dish. Most places won't discount a dish. Thanks, Sugo's, for letting me save a few dollars.

You know when you plan for a dinner location and it does not take reservations. Yes the wait list. We planned to try Circle 7 Ranch but since there was a wait list we decided to have a cocktail before going to the restaurant. It turned out that there was a 90 minute wait at Circle 7. This brought us back to Sugo's a restaurant we had picked several months ago to try with my wife's college friend and husband. Sugo's has a wait list too, but we called to see how long was the wait. The wait was 15 minutes!. Perfect we finished our cocktails and grabbed our coats Sugo's being a Del Pietro's restaurant we were in for a treat and was not disappointed. Italian restaurants are a challenge for my wife and her garlic allergy, but most will work with her and some can't. Our server was helpful and attentive to my wife's issue. Camille, came back and suggested the grilled salmon and vegetables and everything else had garlic in it. That works. Her grilled salmon was flaky and flavorful and the veggies were crisp. My tagliatelle bolognese was delicious the pasta was tender not soggy and the sauce was rich and flavorful. Our dinner partners both had the hidden menu item off the menu- Chicken Spiedini. They said it was very tasty since it was gone before I could take a picture of it. You cannot go wrong with Sugo's even the bar recommended a great cabernet Sauvignon wine for the meal we were thinking of choosing. Great service from Camille, courteous and professional. Excellent food and a very open atmosphere to dine in. a good place to people watch. The only thing I miss was a canolli at the door when Mary Rose (Mama Del Pietro) would offer as you leave. That was a long standing tradition at the long gone Del Pietro's on Hampton, the now Salt and Smoke. Sugo's Spaghetteria experience it. Enjoy dining out.

I returned here for lunch in December 3023. I wanted to share the menu with you all. I got the Salmon Salad. The spinach was perfectly dressed and the Salmon filet was nice and hot from the oven. I recommend it highly.

It was a quiet Tuesday night. The fridge was a wasteland of half-used condiments and expired milk…read more We decided to place our fate in the hands of Olive & Oak. We ordered takeout. Upon arrival, we were met by a staff so friendly and they were such a cheerful bunch!! Greeted by a hostess with a sweet smile who handed over our brown paper bags like they were carrying precious antiquities. Got home eager to see our yummy treasures!! Then, we opened the takeout boxes!! The Burger was utterly superb. The star of the evening! A towering masterpiece of beefy yumminess, that made every backyard patty we've ever constructed look like a cry for help. The Lamb French Dip was a tender, and savory, and plunging into its au jus which didn't just satisfy hunger; it demanded our full emotional respect. The Wings were...Exquisite. Crispy, saucy little works of art that left us questioning every wing decision we've made in our prior decades on this earth. The Brussels Sprouts were magnificent. Let's be honest, getting excited about a cruciferous vegetable feels like a symptom of aging, but these charred, sweet spheres were nothing short of a spiritual awakening. We wept a little. (Or maybe that was just the spice.) And then, it was over. The boxes were empty. The kitchen lights were off. We sat in the quiet aftermath of a meal too good for a random weeknight, realizing that takeout will never be the same again. Olive & Oak ruined us for all other dinners for now...

I found them both just a little too over-spiced and not to my liking. I'm used to octopus being "the star of the show" and this one was pretty much over-powered by the potatoes and smoked paprika aioli. Not sure I'd call what I got "charred", either. The goat was fine; just didn't "wow" me. While my entree was hot, my dinner guest's was "tepid" at best. Given the long amount of time it took for the entrees to arrive led me to believe theirs was ready way before mine and just sat there too long. Atmosphere very nice yet casual.

The dining room only seats maybe 18-20 people. Despite the small size, it still felt cozy and welcoming. We had just eaten dinner a few hours ago, so we were just looking for small plates. After picking our server's brain on a few options, we decided on the Beef Tartare & the Charred Octopus. The chips & tartare were solid, but not the best I've ever had. The charred octopus, though, was a huge surprise. I went into this not having eaten octopus is YEARS, so I wasn't sure that I would even like it. But the tasteful sauce, the crunchy yet soft potato, & the chili just went so incredibly well together. We were both very surprised with how good it was. As for the wine, the selection is quite small but still very good. I wasn't sure what wine to order and our server was super helpful in making a choice that I was not disappointed with. If you don't drink wine or aren't open to drier wines, you may not find one you like. We didn't try any of the cocktails, but I heard a few people talking about how good they were. All that being said, Aperi really feels like one of those special little places with amazing food, incredible service, and a cozy, unique vibe. I would definitely recommend anyone who is on the fence to give Aperi a shot, you won't be disappointed!

The lady that took care of us was so nice and went out of her way to accommodate na requests. The music playlist was also so good. Every single thing that i tried was amazing. The papas bravas were probably my favorite because of the ingredients in the sauce. Ive never had anything like it. The ricotta bread was also delicious and had a kick. My only non perfect rating would have to be the chorizo. The apple sauce with the chorizo felt like an odd pairing. Wish there was a third item in that dish that brought it together. The drinks were also amazing.
