Been here a few times and really wanted to like it, but unfortunately the service continues to disappoint. The concept is frustrating as well--you have to purchase a $25 wine card to access many of the wines, which often leaves you with an unused balance. It feels more like a hassle than a benefit. Tonight we ordered a wine flight and asked our server what wines were included. Her response was that she "thought" it was a Riesling, a white, and a red. At a wine bar, I would expect the staff to know exactly what wines are being served, especially in a curated flight. The atmosphere is great, but the service and menu execution don't match the setting. We gave it multiple chances, but unfortunately won't be returning. read more

You purchase a wine card of a dollar amount and go to the wine dispenser and pick your poison. From cheapest to highest you find the wine of your choice, stick your card in the slot and above your preference hit the oz sz which will give you an 2/4/6 oz pricing. Tip... read carefully and pour accordingly. It adds up quickly. You keep your card for future use. All monies stay on your card for future use. Live bands are on Fri. Prices are extremely high and too me everything is overpriced Quantity is not worth pricing and wine selection is not geared for sweet. Recently came with a group of 20ish people for a party. We had a reservation, however there was issues with us getting an appropriate amount of chairs. We were told that the open tables we could not use because they needed to be saved for "paying customers" yet we had about 5+ paying people in our party who had to stand. Given the portions, everything was pretty overpriced. While the bottomless is a good deal, isn't worth it when you have to wait 25+ min between each time our waitress came to check on us and each refill is a small flute. I'm sure with smaller groups the experience would be better but honestly not an experience that makes me want to try again. read more

This is a fun spot. 3rd time in. The wine cards make your self-serve convenient and a great way to start up a convo with another patron. Outdoor patio is a beautiful and quiet place to linger overlooking an intimate park area. This trip I tried a cocktail, Oh How you sparkle. Was sweet, but oh so good! (Anything bubbly is a winner for me). The chicken tomato pesto panini was delicious. Melted cheese and very tasty tomato pesto sauce. It was all cooked to perfection including the fresh toasted bread. Also munched on a charcuterie board. Good selection of meats and cheeses. Maybe a bit over priced. Not to the restaurants fault but staffing was an issue as it is everywhere so service a bit slow, but very friendly and she took things in stride given I'm sure she was exhausted. read more

Wild crush has such a beautiful patio. My mom and I tried so many of their wines using their self pour dispensers and got a wine flight! I could tell they were understaffed as we waited 20 minutes until I finally went up to the bar. She said she would send a waitress right out and she still didn't come, so I ended up ordering at the bar anyway. There were signs posted for help needed so I didn't mind ordering at the bar. I will be looking forward to trying some of their food next time! read more

Visited this wine bar for the first time last night and enjoyed our cocktails and appetizers. We skipped the wines as we got sidetracked by the cocktail menu. My favorite was the plum lemonade. It was a tasty concoction of plum vodka, lemonade and other magic elixirs, finished with a delicious cherry. The "Oh How You Sparkle" cocktail was also pretty good, with champagne, cranberry and orange flavors. We tried the spinach artichoke dip, which was delightfully warm and creamy, served with big buttery crackers and chewy breadsticks. We also tried the chicken and beef skewers. I preferred the grilled chicken satay over the beef. The decor was simple but interesting. Our waitress was great. This place shares a lovely patio with Cleaver & Cocktail, definitely a great place to spend some time during these mild months. read more

Friends invited us to join them at Wild Crush to have some drinks and listen to some live music. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, so of course we went! The place looks cool and has a nice vibe. There's also a patio that was full of- everyone wanted some sun. It looked like maybe a few umbrellas would have been nice out there. We were sitting inside. The music was nice. I don't drink wine, but they apparently have some nice options. They have cards there that one can use to go up and get pours on tap. It is not inexpensive. They have a small menu of food options. We ordered a charcuterie board and were told they were out of them. They don't open until 2:00. I'm guessing they knew they were out of it the day before and didn't go get more items in order to make them. We had an okay dip. I ordered two of the same cocktail while we were there. They looked and tasted completely different and I don't know one which was what I actually ordered. I waited way too long for each of those drinks. Apparently they were under staffed. Maybe they were. But the staff that was there was not great. The service was truly bad. My suggestion is that they actually write orders down and maybe what table the food/drinks should be delivered to. We may go back. read more

Wild Crush is a really cool concept. You purchase a card from them and then can go to their self serve wine area to pick out what you want. I liked that they had multiple sizes of pours so you could have a tasting or full glass! One issue we had was it was really difficult to get to the self served wine. Both customers and staff were blocking the path there on both sides of the bar, so you had to elbow your way through to get there. Our service was ok. We had a larger group which I know makes things more difficult. Unfortunately my food was not put in with the rest of my groups so it came out about 30 minutes after others had eaten (and after asking our server to put it in again). She was very nice and apologetic! Once the food came it was delicious. I got a flat bread and it was a good size and tasted really fresh. I think this place would be best when the weather is nice because they have a patio that was closed due to weather during our visit. I have nothing but praise to the staff here for their accommodations to our party; our guests, and everything else. The food was excellent and the drinks surely delightful. Super cute wine bar! I came here for happy hour and I really liked it. The waiter was super friendly and came by a lot. They have a self serve wine area that you can use a preloaded gift card to get different wines. They also have house wines you can buy by the glass and a large variety of wines to buy by the bottle. I didn't get food while I was there but they did say they are partnering with Katie's pasta for flatbreads and things. read more

Like mentioned in the previous review-it's a self serve wine bar or you can order bottles. They are going to start having cocktails soon according to the menu. There is beer available but it seems a little steep! $6/bud light. Some of the wines seemed fair priced while others were way over priced! The charcuterie boards were way over priced if you ask me. $20 for meat and cheese! We didn't purchase but I saw others and there was not $20 worth of food on the board. They come prepackaged from somewhere else so I understand there is a mark up but whoa-$20 is a lot for what you got. Wild Crush is such a great spot! I've been here twice, once for a night out and once for a private baby shower. The night that we went during regular business hours was so fun. We went at 5pm on a Saturday and were able to snag a seat right away! I ended up getting a wine card and loaded it with $30. The fact that you can get up and get your own wine from a large variety of selections and choose your own pour is awesome! You put your card in the machine, choose what you want and how much, it pours, and enjoy. That night we got the charcuterie boards they have in house and some flatbreads. The flatbreads were fresh and flavorful. The charcuterie was fabulous as well and freshly made by St. Louis Cheeseboards. The shower yesterday was SO nice! They had a nice selection of wines available for us to choose from. We had salad and a large variety of flatbreads to choose from. My favorite was the bbq chicken. They allowed the hosts to bring in desserts which is always a plus! The staff was kind and accommodating. Looking forward to coming back for another night out! read more

From your seat, scan the QR code and complete your order. Since this place offers a self serve wine bar with automated pour system, you can purchase a card from the site and load it with money or you can buy a full bottle. Minimum amount on the card needs to be $25. We opted for the card so we could try multiple wines. 2oz, 4oz or 6oz pours available at price ranges from $4 to $11... pretty fair prices. Great concept on the self serve pour! There a few charcuterie board options available, nothing that you will get full on so plan for this place to be your stop before or after dinner. Gets pretty loud in here and the tables are somewhat close together. We found ourselves needing to lean in a bit in order to hear each other talking. Best wine selection in St Louis! The concept for the wine taps is so fun and has allowed me to try many wines I would have never adventured to try otherwise. Atmosphere was good. Be careful when you order. We ordered a bottle of Malbec. Price was $38. The bottle they gave us was $90. When we asked the bartender (Audrey)she said "we were out of that one" and walked away. We even told her we would have never ordered that bottle. She didn't even acknowledge our comment. She should have told us before bringing the bottle! The food looked good however we didn't order anything because we were afraid they would bait and switch again!! Disappointing! Drank our $90 bottle of wine and left. The Schooner (Malbec)we received was not on the list of bottles of wine you could order. Absolutely lovely wine bar! I love the self serve wine bar. I love that they have a pet friendly patio! Great outdoor venue!

First, the place is absolutely beautiful. Get there early to get a good spot on the patio. Second, the gimmick they have is these reloadable cards where you can get exact pours of certain wines so you can make your own flight. Is it fun to try it out? Yes. Is it the best bang for your buck? Absolutely not. Just buy regular pours of the wine from your bartender/server. I wish they had more options for the food menu, because it was kind of limited. The charcuterie "board" was just a refrigerated box of fruit, crackers, and meat. It just kinda reminded me of those fruit and cheese boxes you get at Starbucks- completely underwhelming. I don't know if I'll be back but it was definitely a fun experience. read more
