As a first timer, as soon as I walked in I loved the calm and professional vibe of the office. The quality of the service was amazing and Treasure was both gentle & thorough. Overall this was a good experience and I'll definitely be back. read more

tanequa was so professional and amazing! she made my experience so easy and nice! front staff was also very sweet

This was my first time sugaring. So I started small with my underarms to test it out. My waxer was Hodalis. She explained everything to me and was gentle. There were a few hairs left but nothing crazy. My underarms honestly looked lighter immediately. Will be getting a Brazilian soon. The picture is after 2 weeks, minimal growth. read more

Sugaring NYC - 2 weeks after being sugared. Minimum growth. Usually hair grows back within 3 days if I shave. - Sugaring Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

My FIRST TIME experiencing getting waxed and I loved it. I appreciate the aesthetician for how comfortable and professional she was. I look forward to coming back to this clean environment! However, I did not appreciate the certain employees approach. I was approached with monotone voice and mundane energy from certain employees which was not very hospitable. Being that I created an account and proceeded to get serviced. I got that text conforming my appointment so I was unaware that the card was on hold and I was bot charged for my service. But the unwelcoming employee felt the need to say it was in the fine print. Hun be for real. While waiting to pay. Another employee by the desk instantly locks the door. As a person of integrity that rubbed me weird and her voice was already monotone. But I definitely will be coming back if based on availability. Thanks Diamond! read more

This review is for Tanequa: Today was my 2nd time being serviced by her and this experience was just as pleasant as the last. She helps to distract me from the pain by making casual conversation (even though i'm not one to small talk), i enjoy talking to her as she always makes me comfortable. plus NO HAIRS LEFT BEHIND! I just wished she offered the vajacial service so that i wouldn't have to book with anyone else for it :(. Tanequa...I appreciate you girl! read more

TREASURE go see her. she is truly a treasure, chat is so good , she is incredibly sanitary and skilled. 10/10

I visited this location and I fully regret it. I've done sugaring so its nothing new to me. I got serviced maybe two weeks ago with a Brazilian and I've been irritated and itching ever since. Totally uncomfortable. I regret trying this place. read more

Rhea's amazing. Quick, easy, and fun to be with. She made me feel comfortable even though sugaring can be so vulnerable. Highly recommend

Rhea was very kind, personable, and efficient! The entire staff was sweet and professional. Highly recommend!

I have to let it be known that Alexis at the park slope sugaring location is the best esthetician I've ever had! She's always polite and very professional! Her consistency is what makes me continue to book with her! I'm proud to be a "sugarista"! read more

Love Alexis. She does it right every single time. Great energy, service and fun conversation.

I'm so grateful to have found Diamond at this location! I've been sugaring for about 7 years, and I had an amazing technician I loved in Seattle. Moving to a new city meant... finding a new technician! I tried a few at this location and in particular, Diamond is amazing. She's *quick,* which is impressive because I'm a redhead (which takes longer from what I've been told). She's *thorough.* She's kind and sweet and detail oriented. She's more naturally introverted, so if you want someone who's gonna gab during your appointment, she might not be the fit for you. That said, *I'm* a gabber and she always expresses how much she enjoys me coming in and chatting while she works. If you want a quiet, soothing appointment, she's also perfect for that. I'm sold, she'll be my technician as long as I live in NYC! Diamond, THANK YOU. (Maybe TMI, but I'm also kinky and sometimes have marks in private areas, and she's always been so respectful and kind about that! In case you're worried about... idk. It being weird. She makes it normal!) read more

Vey clean. Rhea is the best. Always warm and welcoming. She does amazing job. Always reminds you what you should do and what you shouldn't do. read more

Loooooots of hair left behind - not just stubble, long hairs also. I'm shaving as soon as I can because this state is embarrassing. This was my first time getting sugared, though, so maybe it's normal and improves over time. Otherwise, less painful than I expected, extremely fast, and no wait time for my appointment. Also, there was no small talk, which I appreciated (I'd rather not talk). Not sure if all of the hair leftover was a technique issue or just because it was my first time; I'll be giving it another shot to find out. read more

This was my fist time getting a wax at sugaringNYC and I had a really nice experience. The service was excellent and the place was very clean. The sugarista, Alexis was very profesional and well experience. My skin felt so soft and didn't have any redness or bumps. I will definitely recommend this place. The location I attended was in Brooklyn, park slope. read more

Idk vibes were off and my wax tech chose the most bizarre pattern for my bikini area. My fault for not giving clear directions but it was very weird. I'm unaccustomed to that. However, no ingrown and it lasted over a month! read more

Always great quality service and professional! Thank you TiAhna for being an amazing sugarista

If you're looking for an amazing waxer my girl Hodalis is besttt. I've been going to her for a while now. Love her

Go to Treasure!! She is so patient and absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable and kind. It was my first time getting sugaring / a Brazilian / waxing and she was very informative, let me take time when I needed it and was thorough with care recommendation. I can't recommend her enough. read more

Ti'ahna was amazing and very quick. Little pain but she gives a great service and very time efficient. She is my go too & she should be yours too! read more

Came in for my second lash lift and tint done by Cortina and she did SUCH a great job. She's professional and sweet and I can't recommend this place or her services enough. read more

Sugaring was something I decided to give a try due to ingrowns and hyperpigmentation left behind after shaving. The first few appointments were rough. Do not believe anyone that tells you this is a painless, or 'easier' than hard wax. It still hurts, but the results are much better with sugaring. I've had three different girls do my waxes at this location, but Alexis is by far the best and highly recommended. Her technique is amazing! Because of her technique, my Brazilian wasn't as painful as my precious appointments and there were no stray hairs left behind. She takes her time and does her job well. read more

this is my first time getting sugaring in an extremeLu long time. I normally wax, BUT I think it's time to convert!! it was such a pleasant experience. Rhea was amazing and so kind!! read more

I love this location for Sugaring in NYC - it's been my go to since I moved here. I recently switched estheticians (my other one left) and now I go to Diamond and she's perfect! I've noticed that my hair is growing back slower and I attribute that to her meticulous work. She also makes the process less painful and reminds you to breath which always works. You won't be disappointed - make an appointment with Diamond read more

I had a Brazilian wax at this location and I loved the experience. This place is clean and I felt ver comfortable here. I will definitely be going back read more

Staff was friendly, the atmosphere was clean, It hurt like hell but it did the job lol. It's good when you feel comfortable with your tech and I was very happy. read more

If I could give this business a negative star review, I would. So, every once in a while....an exceptional esthetician / sugaring expert decides to treat herself to services...and every once in a while, it is a HUGE mistake! I decided to patronize this business as I had been curious about for some time now. It was, by far, the most absolutely, positively, hands down, worst sugaring experience I have ever had in my 31 years of having sugaring services! I am actually injured! Without getting too graphic...I am missing skin and bruised up in places one should not be missing skin or bruised up. In all of the 31 years I have been getting sugared...this has NEVER happened. In all of the 31 years I have been performing sugaring services on others....this has NEVER happened. To add insult to my non-metaphorical injury....the people at this location have been belligerent, uncaring and have basically called me a liar to my face (on the phone actually). This is a franchise/chain situation. I have tried to find corporate office contact info to no avail. I did manage to find out who the founder/ceo of this company is through LinkedIn. Unfortunately, I was not able to message her on that platform. I did private message her on Facebook...but, not surprising...I have not yet gotten a response. I also tried to leave a review on the specific location's Facebook page, but lo and behold...one can not leave any post of any kind on their page. Oh, and as if we couldn't guess...there is no messaging option either. (update : I was finally able to figure out how to leave a review on their Facebook page) Now I always try my best to give people and businesses the "benefit of the doubt"....but this company does not warrant this kindness on any level. I feel it is my duty to warn and protect others. This business has multiple locations. I am only speaking of my personal experience @ the Park Slope location. I can not speak to the services and professionalism of any of the other locations. read more

Sugaring with Treasure is a must!!!! I've been getting sugared for years and she makes it worthwhile! If you are looking for someone to cater to your body, she is the one. Great conversationalist, authentic, down to earth and very understanding. Some days it takes me two hours to get to her but she is beyond worth it, I love her!! read more

This is my 3rd time visiting this location and I think it will become my permanent waxing place. It's clean, fast, and efficient. Each Waxer is friendly and makes sure you are comfortable. Thank you Sugaring NYC! read more

It was probably the best waxing experience I've ever had. The room is very obviously clean and sanitary. Rhea C is absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier. I am a bigger girl but that was literally not problem for her and she was quick and sweet. Very happy with how this went and I will definitely be back read more

Cortina did my first lash lift for me and I am sooo happy with the results! She made me feel super comfortable and relaxed, and walked me thru the whole process. Thanks so much for a great first experience! read more

This location shows a lack of management, a simple talking to wont fix the front desk banter, across the hall screaming, and gossiping being done. Employees show a lack of professionalism, and respect for clients time. I came in as a model for lash lift, but my time is valuable as much as any other client. I waited exactly one hour , my apt was for 2 pm, I was taken in at 3:15. In regards to the lash lift, I've had better please find photo attached. Don't feel this was necessarily the employee in trainings fault more so the instructor. Overall, a really unfortunate experience. I will not being a returning customer. I wish I could have tipped the girl in training, but waiting for more than an hour is absolutely absurd and should be taken into consideration while running a business. read more

Cotina was very sweet! She did an excellent job, recommend doing your waxes with her for sure.

it was nice and quick! sugaring nyc has really great prices. would recommend for cheap and fast.

I had a couple of brazilians before but this places has never left a "bad taste in my mouth" afterwards. My last visit was with Cortina, she is great!! Super nice, is very attentive and you will also have a great conversation with her. Definitely will book my next appointment with her, y'all should too. No skin burns, hair grows back like baby hair (takes me like a month and a half for all hair to grow back) and skinn is smooooth. Sugaring is life, that's it. read more

This review can't even be considered a review. I walked to the Front Door. The receptionist is sitting at the front desk. The front door is locked, I proceeded to knock and the receptionist gets up from the desk. She's wearing scrubs and has black and green braids in her hair. She proceeds to not acknowledge my presence and walk to the back. I remained outside for 15 minutes with no one returning to the front. I called the main # twice with Saeda assisting the second time. She called multiple times with no one answering her. At that point I cancelled my appointment. Very disappointed. I really wanted to give this place a chance. read more

First time at this location and I was impressed. I usually go to Union Square. Cortina did an excellent job. She took her time, made it less painless than any other sugarista I've had and really left it alllll clean. Nothing is worse than getting a wax and still having hair. That's happened to me with some individuals but moving forward, I will book with her!! read more

They were very nice, but I paid for waxing to be done professionally and learned the girl was still in training. I left with bumps all over my legs and still with hairs because she hadn't learned how to use the different types of wax. Maybe I wouldn't complain if it was free, actually that wouldn't be ok either. I didn't say anything at the store because she tried her best. But I won't be back because when you pay for a professional service, it should be done by a professional. They should also be teaching every employee before they put someone who's training to wax on skin. This can cause long-term damage to hair follicles when done incorrectly. I had to go to the dermo and pay $600 to correct the bumps caused by this wax, which is the only reason I'm posting this review. I wasn't going to say anything because the girl who waxed was nice and learning, but the damage from this caused me an unnecessary skincare bill. read more

ALWAYS ON POINT!!! I love going to Sugaring NYC because it's really better than hard wax for so many reasons. Less ingrown hairs, less pain, and the hair grows back slowly and finely. My girl Tanequa is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! She is so personal and very amazing to making sure alll the hair EVERYWHERE (if you book the Brazilian) is gone. If you go, please book her read more
