Just had Jon out the second time in 9 months. Worth every penny! This second time, I arrived home early to find him having started the front exterior windows of our house. (I appreciate those who value their own time and if they see opportunity, go for it!) In any case, this guy knows windows! Once he's completed the job, the windows look like there's no glass there and the window screens are clean to boot. I used to consider having our house windows cleaned a luxury. It's not anymore - it's a necessity and part of our normal upkeep on the house. A word about Jon. I'm so glad I found these guys! Looking out the windows early this morning was like seeing the outdoors through a brownish-gray lens. Six hours later (after a pleasant visit from Jon), that view is very different. So different in fact, that my dog hasn't stopped staring out the window since Jon left (I'm going to have a series of wet nose prints on my newly cleaned windows before the day is through). The lower level of my house usually gets pretty dark by mid-afternoon but the amount of light that's coming through right now makes it feel more like late-morning. I wish I'd thought to take a "before" shot because the contrast in the before and after is incredible. Similar to other clients' experiences, the job took longer than either of us had anticipated but Jon stuck by his original quote (which was beyond reasonable considering the amount of work that went into this job). And talk about prompt! I heard the front gate open at exactly 9:30 this morning, which was when Jon said he'd be at the house. I couldn't be happier with the results and the entire experience. First time using them for a an architectural property I manage with LOTS OF GLASS....they were pretty great, awesome vibe, good people did their best...I had major workers there and everyone was working over each other and yet everyone was great sports and got everything finished on time. i haven't had a chance to hire sudbud for window cleaning yet but they also do gutter cleaning. i have an absentee landlord who hadn't done any maintenance in 3+ years and my roof is leaking like crazy. we figured out that the gutters weren't draining. we couldn't find a listing on yelp specifically for gutter cleaning so we used servicemagic to look for some help. we posted the order on sunday afternoon and john called us that night. he came out on tuesday in the middle of all these downpours with a bigger storm on the way. he shoveled TONS of wet leaves (mulch basically) off our roof. he was cool, and cheerful and we're thrilled. looking forward to hiring him again for windows in the spring. his rates are great and we're very happy. read more
