Alex installed 4 Smoke detectors. He arrived on time and removed his shoes before entering my house. Before installation he tested to see if there was a green light and showed me what to look for. He did the same for all four. The 4th detector did not show the green light quickly but later came up. When he went back in that room where he installed it, it started beeping, stopped and started again. I returned the defective detector and bought another, and he came back the next day to install. Also, he showed me how to stop the alarm if it triggered in the kitchen from cooking. He cleaned up after himself. He is polite and knowledgeable. I got quotes for another project that I have in mind for him. Alex is a professional and I highly recommend him. His price seemed to be reasonable. read more

Alex came out to fix some wood on the outside of our house. He was able to give me an estimate the same day I sent a request for a quote and had the job finished in two days. He showed me receipts for all materials (I didn't ask for them), and had the job done quickly. The wood pieces blend in with the rest of our house and you can't tell they're new. His costs were presented upfront and were very reasonable. He showed up exactly when he said he would and didn't go over his estimate. I've saved him number for any projects! read more

Alex did a fantastic job on our wall repair. We had some plumbing work done that left a large hole in the wall and needed a skilled handyman to handle the insulation, sheetrock, floorboard and painting. We were very happy with the result. Alex had excellent communication, was personable, honest, did a quality job and finished both on time (actually a day early) and on budget. We would definitely use him again and recommend him to others. read more

He installed 3 light fixtures, installed 4 new brackets to hold our tile mounted shower shelves, installed two cabinet knobs, changed a bunch of light bulbs in our vaulted ceiling, attached shelving units to walls, and repaired a damaged door frame and painted it! He did it all quickly and cleaned up the area afterwards! Alex was great to work with! read more
