Would have been 5 stars but the amount of ice in the drinks and the cost of each item is overpriced. The people working here were not rude or anything it's just the outcome of the service of how much ice was made in the drinks and "light hand" of the toppings. The matcha sugar cane drink is yummy. The foamy part of the drink is not needed, it's just air lol. Think of the foam from the coke soda. Neither the matcha nor sugarcane overpowers each other. $6.95 24oz The avocado drink is good. It tastes like a sweet avocado. $5.50 16oz The açaí bowl customization is a good selection to choose from. $9.95 for 12oz. lol asked for strawberry and they gave half a strawberry! I've been to another location and at least we get what we pay for. When we ask for light ice it's actually light ice. And, they have more amount of toppings. Look at the photo and you'll have a laugh.

I've tried the coconut sugarcane and lychee sugarcane from here and the coconut one was very delicious and refreshing. I loved the fresh coconut bits! I don't recommend the lychee sugarcane though as it didn't taste like lychee at all and had a strange flavour to it that wasn't nice. I would definitely come back to try other flavours and the açai bowls though as they look so good! The interior is cute and the service was efficient.

I was super stoked to find a sugar cane place without driving out to San Gabriel Valley and I've been to SuCane three times.. The juice is good, but all 3 times, I've ordered a 32oz and my cup is over half full with ice!! I think that is ridiculous and a complete rip off! Especially when my cup is over half full with big ice cubes after I finish and I tend to let mine sit in order to dilute the juice because at times sugarcane can be a bit too sweet! I don't live in Gardena so it takes me roughly 30 minutes to get home which means my cup has to be more than half way full of ice when they gave it to me.. No ice is an extra $3 which I understand but it's totally unfair to fill my 32oz with ice then give me about 10oz of juice!

I'm so sad this delicious bowl came to an end this is the 12 oz Acai Sunrise. The Acai is so good, sweet but not disgustingly sugary. Comes with bananas, kiwi, blueberries, and strawberries. SuCane is a small shop with about 4 seats, an opening and welcoming space, I just loved the atmosphere. Ordering was super easy and if you prefer you can order on a kiosk but I just ordered at the counter. I can't wait to go back. I think I'll build my own next time!

I've never had an açaí bowl so icy in my life I felt like I ordered shaved ice! The service was fine. I used the kiosk but the staff didn't call my order when it was ready. Definitely a bummer that the quality of the food was meh since there's not many fresh options in this neck of the woods!

Love that my sugarcane juice has made its way to Gardena! I grew up chewing on sugarcane and loved sugarcane juices as I got older. Absolutely loved the avocado sugarcane juice with coconut bits. It was creamy and refreshing. Customer service was excellent. Interior was beautiful and clean. Can't wait to come back and try more drinks and give their acai bowls a try!

The açaí bowls and drinks here are super healthy and delicious! The flavors are fresh, on top of that, the prices are very affordable, which makes it easy to come back often. I definitely recommend this place!

I love how many different flavors of sugarcane juice you can get here! We got the original Sucane and the tajin melon cane. Both were very tasty and fresh, and I liked the original the most. Friendly service, very neat interior. Would definitely come back!

In my opinion, the best acai place in SoCal. Such a wonderful family-owned business with quick, kind, and flexible workers. I've never seen anywhere we so many options for bases and toppings. I love that they give mochi as an option as well! Last time I was there l, I got a bowl and the Koko Matcha drink with aloe. I swear it's so delicious and not too sweet. I met the owners when I went there this week and they are so sweet! You can tell they put a lot of effort into making their space feel calming and cozy. I don't understand why there's a motorcycle in the restaurant but I'm living for it.

I absolutely love build your own option. Açaí bowls can get pretty pricey, but I feel like for the quality and presentation, what I paid is more than fair, especially when considering how many toppings and base flavor combos you can get. Inside was nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly.

I'm not sure if maybe I just ordered the wrong flavor. I ordered the pomelo flavor which I think may have overpowered the sugar cane juice? I'll probably have to try a different flavor next time. The space is nice but feels very empty. It was larger than I expected and I feel they could've done more with it, maybe some added chairs or tables.

I love sugar cane. I got the kumquat w/sugar cane 32oz with 2 scoops of aloe Vera gel. First time check in on yelp I got 20% off. Total was 7 something so I gave back the cost added 2.00 tip. The staf are very nice ladies. I forgot to take a pic of my drink. I will on my next visit. Highly recommend this place if you need a guilt free refreshment.

So I'd just got back from my trip to Tahiti a couple days before coming here. I actually wanted an açaí bowl, but when this Sugarcane drink spot popped up, I asked my bf if we could try it. In comparison to the fresh sugarcane drinks I had in Tahiti... I'd give this place one star. I hated my drink and when I tried my bf's -- I didn't like his either. He said it was alright, but when we took our drinks to the sushi restaurant nearby we both purposely left our cups there -- and they were more than half full :/ I'm giving this place four stars because it's fairly new and I want to give them a second chance. The customer service was there. The place is clean. I'd probably come back to try the açaí bowls. I'll update after I try the bowls!

"Wow, that was amazingly good," is what I exclaimed after polishing off my acai bowl. I had the acai/mango (great consistency - not runny like others I've had) with pumpkin flaxseed granola coconut chocolate nibs FRESH bananas blueberries mango kiwi strawberries and drizzled with chia pudding. Great textures, contrasts, and flavors. Can pick up to 3 base flavors and toppings are unlimited. Appetizing presentation. My wife found this place cos she was craving sugar cane juice. She got the Quat Cane and it was perfectly balanced - sweet 'n acidic. Glad we have this in our backyard, so we don't have to drive to SGV or the OC anymore for our juice fix. The superb acai bowls are bonus! Owner (my guess) and daughter (another guess) were super friendly and patiently answered our questions. read more

When you eat an acai bowl, one of the MOST important things about it is the TEXTURE, and SuCane does it perfectly! Their acai is nice and thick and doesn't melt too fast. They also have fresh fruit toppings + other toppings such as different types of granola and such. You can also layer your base toppings, which is freaking awesome. Their blood orange is *chef's kiss* Additionally, their staff is super kind and accommodating and very patient with my indecisive self. I will be back. Again and again. read more

I don't venture out to the South Bay as much as I'd like to. But when I do, SuCane has become a stop for us as they have one of the most refreshing sugarcane juices in my opinion! Compared to other sugarcane spots in SGV and OC, what sets SuCane apart is the flavors they offer. From my visits so far, I've tried strawberry, dragonfruit, and pomelo (not pictured). All flavors were vibrant, rightfully sweet, and addicting. It's one of those drinks where I have to catch myself from drinking too fast and savor each taste. They have a spacious parking lot in the back so it's easy to pop in and out for a drink or an acai bowl. I still have yet to try on of their bowls, which may be the case in one if my next visits. read more

Do not order their sugar cane water. Yes, it's sugar cane juice diluted with water. It tasted diluted before any ice could've melt. On top of that, the drink was advertised to have 32 oz but in reality our drink contained 8 oz in ice by the time we got home to measure it. And nope, they do not allow no ice -- for this particular reason! Shady! SMH. On the side note, the shop is clean and has a nice interior design though. Nice wood styling contrasting with the stainless steel kitchen. I drink a lot of sugar cane juice and I know what dilution taste like. Safe to say I won't come back again. read more

I love this place and how convenient it is to my work! I can easily stop by for lunch. It's been hot lately and this was so refreshing. Location is great, right in the heart of Gardena. They have plenty of parking in the plaza. I got the small bowl and it was a good size. You can get up to 3 flavors for the small but I settled with acai & mango. The blend itself is good, sweet and it complemented the toppings. You can choose as many toppings as you want. The fruits were fresh-- I got strawberry, banana, blueberries, mangoes. They also have 3 different types of granola and more! Such a great deal and delicious acai bowl! Next time I'll try their sucane drinks! read more

TL:DR - Great diversity of flavors and super nice staff. SuCane is a newly opened acai place in Gardena. The interior has a modern cafe vibe, complete with a vespa. The menu has an assortment of options from smoothies to acai bowls. It was hella hot out, so my girlfriend and I went with the acai bowls. You can choose 3 different bases with your acai and unlimited toppings. I went with the matcha, acai, and mango. The texture of all the bases was perfect, not too icy, but still firm so it's not runny. It really held up the whole time I was eating and the three flavors balanced each other so perfectly. The acai flavor wasn't too sour. The matcha had the right amount of sweetness. And the mango tasted exactly like mango. The toppings itself were a whole other dream. They have everything you can think of and you can get as much as you want. I love piling on the toppings and they didn't disappoint. Overall for the price and flavor, you have to come here if you want an acai bowl. read more

Parking: Ample parking in the plaza of Sucane! Food: Always love any build your own acai bowl spots. I got my usual combo of bases and toppings in their 16 oz. bowl which is their largest size. Probably the most frozen and firm bases I've ever had and I absolutely loved it! I dined in, took my time eating such a huge bow, and the bases barely melted! Ambiance: Very minimal seating inside but I got lucky having the low-set table to myself. Super peaceful inside. They play music videos on the television of 2000s music and I had a great time munching on my bowl. Definitely not the place to study but very convenient for grab and go! Service: The woman working the register was super kind to me and allowed me to sample the bases when I had questions about some of them! I have been here a handful of times for dessert after eating somewhere else in the plaza and let.me.tell.you. This place is SOOOOO good! Their coconut juice is my top tier favorite drink here. It reminds me of vacations to my grandma's in the Philippines. Their acai bowls are perfect every time and i love that toppings at unlimited. The service is great. Everyone is always so nice and you can even sample flavors if you're curious before deciding on an order. The space is decorated beautifully and it is very clean. Will be returning 10/10! read more

The sun is shining, the breeze is cool and gentle and Sucane is open. What a lovely day. This place is so amazing. The customer service is so kind and friendly that their vibes are as refreshing as the delicious drinks they create. You must come and allow your body to be blessed. My favorite is the Chrysanthemum, Lemongrass, Basil seed all in one drink. The flavors combine so well. I highly recommend this place even when the sun isn't shining and the breeze is not so gentle. First time trying this place and I'm so happy I did. This is the best bowl I've had around LA. I've tried many places and this hit every craving I had. First time I see a place have an ube flavor and it was so delicious! The three flavors I got: Ube, Matcha and coconut. All three were so flavorful and paired so well with one another. I really like this place! It's close to my home and the fruit is always fresh. The customer service is pleasant and the ambiance is lovely, but simple. I always get an Açaí bowl. Ordering is easy! You have so many items to choose from to customize the bowls to your liking. They have a sheet you can fill out, so if you have trouble with anxiety or have a hearing or speaking impairment, it's super simple to receive what you want without the hassle. I haven't tried to sugarcane juice, but I will soon. I think this place has the best Açaí bowls in the area. The next best in my opinion is on the opposite side in Woodland Hills. read more

The staff was very patient! I had a lot of confusion when ordering and the ladies working were nice about answering my questions and giving clarification. The customer behind me was borderline disrespectful, and they handled that well also. The acai bowl I ordered is perfect! The consistency of the base is straight from my dreams. I always complain about melty acai bowls, but this was thick and slushy. Plus you get unlimited toppings instead of having to choose a menu combination. Overall, I'm so happy that I stumbled across this gem and can't wait to return. read more

Great family owned shop that serves refreshing drinks and acai bowls. The prices for the bowl are more than fair considering you can choose between 3-5 fruit bases and unlimited toppings. Every time I have ever gone there, the staff are always friendly, professional and consistent with the order. I highly recommend this place if you're out in the South Bay! read more

Every time I came here with my mom, I ordered the pennywort with extra sugar. These girls always make pennywort with very good taste. But today, they said they don't have any sugar in the store because the sugarcane is sweet already. But the pennywort is not sugarcane; it can't be sweet by itself. And how can I believe that the drink store doesn't have sugar? I will never come back to this place. This place was my favorite place to have sugarcane and pennywort, but no more. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but I wanted to share my experience. I will start by saying I love the acai bowls here and I think the prices are reasonable. The staff is usually pretty friendly when you first walk in as well. I came in last Monday (1/15) to order an acai bowl. There were I think 2? or 3? people in front of me and I waited 45 minutes to receive my bowl. There were 2 customers that came in after me that also ordered acai bowls that were served first. I checked to make sure my order wasn't lost after that and the staff informed me they make orders based off time, but these customers walked in + ordered somewhere between 5-10 minutes after me. I waited so long, a customer that walked in some time after me noticed and commented on how long I had been waiting as well. When I received my order after 45 minutes, the staff was apologetic. One of the 2 women working informed me that she had to stop her lunch break to help the other staff member working as well. I can't remember the exact date, but the previous time I came in my order also took a while (about 30 minutes). This place is good, but I wouldn't recommend coming unless you have time to kill or until they are able to hire more staff. read more

SOOOOO GOOD!!!! I absolutely love that you can pick whatever you want for your toppings and that they have a wide variety of bases. The employees were super kind and efficient. I love sugarcane drinks and would usually go to Orange County to grab a large one so I was very excited to see SuCane opening in my neighborhood. My go-to would be the half coconut juice and half sugarcane juice. I'm very particular because I can taste if it's fresh or if it's from a can. Unfortunately SuCane misses the mark for me. It's not fresh and they water it down with water. I won't be returning for the drinks, but I do plan to come back to try the açaí bowl and will update my review. read more

The pork itself was super gingery without being too pungent. The shredded cabbage was super easy to pick up and eat and the side of noodle salad and miso soup were great complements to the meal. I can tell no corners were cut anywhere and that Otafuku puts a little of effort into every meal they prepare. There is great care for all of the preparations and it was a very special meal. I felt like I was in Japan for a second as the feel of the restaurant is very "homey" and the ambiance is a nice cheerful atmosphere.

The seafood also tasted really fresh and the squid was buttery soft and not chewy or tough. They also have $1 salads which had a tasty, classic Japanese dressing and fresh greens. You just can't find any food for $1 these days, so the $1 pricepoint was really surprising! I also love that they gave a huge serving of bread and butter as an appetizer. The staff was super kind and accommodating, and the restaurant is very cute and retro. They have a small parking lot in the back, as well as easy street parking. Overall, I'm already really looking forward to coming back here and trying more of their dishes. Or getting the same thing because it was just that good!
