It was a Sunday and this place was hopping! We were greeted and sat immediately. When you walk in, you see a little gift shop and a bakery display. The decor is wooden, cute, whimsical, and slightly boho. Our server was super sweet and soft spoken - she took our order and our food was ready fairly quickly. The food is delicious!! We started with their soup of the day - a spiced carrot ginger. Yummy - it felt like a warm hug! We got a veggie burger and the turkey pesto. Both were super tasty and made with love. The BEST part... they make their own breads and they offer a GLUTEN FREE rice loaf!!! It is so yummy that we bought a frozen loaf to take home. Thankfully we had a cooler with us and were able to do so. We loved our lunch so much that we decided to stop again on our way home four days later! The middle of the week in Arcadia is a lot more quiet, and our second visit was just as delicious as the first. This time, we had the veggie soup and the same two sandwiches (because they were that good!). We had the veggie burger on GF bread this time so we could share half of each sandwich. They have an interesting story of origin (see their story on the menu paper), and the folks are super sweet and warm people.
