Read on- Ambience- I sat at the tiny bar which has 8 comfortable high stools with backs. This is great if you're running solo and in a hurry. Customer Service- My bartender was excellent as usual and quickly gave me a menu and an ice-cold Stella draft. Food- I ordered the incredible Philly Cheesesteak Fries! Everything that's in a good cheesesteak including mushrooms & onions poured over an order of perfect fries and smothered in provolone! To make it over-the-top amazing a spent and extra buck and added chopped pepperoni for $14 total. Pictures- I wasn't the only one snapping pictures! Strangers were walking by and asking if they could grab a photo. That's happened before with this dish. Personal Experience- OMG, I moaned with every savory piping-hot bite! I live in this teeny tiny town and love to support family businesses, and I've stuck with them throughout the challenges. Let's see where they stand now- Arriving- About as easy as it gets! They are directly on US Route 27 North and if you are southbound there is a dedicated turning lane. You'll find a nice-sized parking lot with the usual handicapped spots. Ambience- It's basically one big room with tables and booths on the sides. The bar is on the back wall with a half wall partition separating it from the restaurant. It is meticulously maintained and spotless. There's Mexican kitsch of course but less than other places. See my pic. There is a beautiful lakeside, outside deck that appears to be used on weekend evenings. I've never used it, but I hear good things. Wi-Fi- Nope, not here which is unusual for a place this size. They get a small ding for that! Adult Libations- Full bar with extensive choices complete with the requisite long list of unique margaritas. Over many decades, I'm still a loyal customer! Arriving- They are in the middle of a typical pack of fast-food chains on US Route 27 North. Parking is easy. Ambience- It's clean and typical and very quiet as most folks use the drive-thru Drive Thru- They are experimenting with AI and it's getting better by the month! They have an employee always standing by to jump in and help if needed, which is much appreciated. The App- Typical and mostly decent. Getting an offer or a reward credited is tricky and needs to be improved. They are generous with their rewards! Customer Service- I generally drive thru and about 90% of the time a make it through without being told to pull over. That other 10% I usually wait 2 or 3 minutes. I've never received a incorrect order. The employees are friendly and pleasant so no problems there. Food- Today was a Double Cheeseburger and Spicy Nuggets and it set me back about $11. It was completely as expected Hot, juicy beef with the toppings I specified. The Nuggets were hot in temperature and spicy hot and crispy. A satisfying lunch! Conclusion- I've been going to this specific Wendy's for over ten years and watched them evolve especially with their breakfasts and chicken sandwiches. Of the big 3, they are a solid choice.

So how did they reinvent themselves? Up until about two years ago they were famous for selling case beer. You would pop your trunk and a guy would drop the case right in. You never had to get out of your car. For some reason they quit selling beer to focus on other things. Up until about a year ago they had great food but no fries and this was a major complaint they had to deal with. They fixed this and now they have huge portions of wonderful, glorious skin-on fries! So now you come here for fantastic breakfast sandwiches, great burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and fries. Of course, drinks. On my last visit I ordered a cheeseburger and fries @ $8.87. I'm embarrassed by the picture as there was a huge, juicy, hand-formed burger under there! There were even more fries, but I scoffed some down on the way home!
