Underneath the tenders are 2 heavily buttered slices of toast! Can you say heart attack?
Steven B.

OMG, it had been over twenty years since I had been to a DQ. Damn I'm old! A friend asked me to meet him here so off I went. ATMOSPHERE- It's well, Um, Er, fast foodish! This particular DQ was jumping at a weekday lunchtime and the vibe was very pleasant. Also, the place was spotless, I mean really gleaming. CUSTOMER SERVICE- Part of the vibe was due to the young lady at the register. She was bursting with joy! When she smiled at you, you couldn't help but return it. When she said thank you, she really meant it. This is one of those places where you get a number and your food is brought to your table. I grabbed my number, smiled one more time, and ambled over to our spotless table. FOOD- I was looking for something low calorie so I ordered the Chicken Tenders & Fries @ $7. A smiling guy delivered it in about three minutes. There must have been an invisible spot on my spotless table because he gave it an extra scrub before he departed. My chicken was moist and tender and my fries were hot and crispy and it was over all a delightful heart attack on a plate. I asked for honey mustard as a dipping sauce and they gave me enough to fill a swimming pool! Why do fast food joints do that anyway! So I was working through my tenders & fries and my cholesterol was building but little did I know I was about to uncover buried treasure. Under all those calories were two slices of buttered toast! Just what I needed, butter! So somebody at DQ headquarters thought this was a good idea. It must have been the guy that placed the cholesterol testing machine by the door as it cost 50 cents. They probably make a fortune! My dining partner thought his burger and fries were excellent. Despite me having a little fun with them in this review, we had a very nice time and will return.

Great place to stop for a quick sweet treat! We went through the drive thru and the cashier was very nice and the service was quick.

$ 5 Buck Lunches are awesome even a sundae is included.

We ordered 2 $5 buck lunches they were brought out to our table nice & hot. The onion rings & fries were crispy. Don't forget to order potato skins they also were great.

This DQ was among the cleanest I have seen. The staff was friendly and service was fast. The ice cream was good as always and the hot dog, super dog was delicious. It was loaded with cheese and chili, all the unhealthy things that make a hot dog perfect.

Do not get the new Red Velvet Blizzard. Cake very dry and tastes like freezer. Shakes are better

Fabulous atmosphere. The outside patio area and the beach area are absolutely beautiful. Because I…read morehad eaten breakfast outside many times I chose to eat inside. The inside dining room is wonderful! A true old-fashioned tropical feel. Our waiter was a little odd, but competent. I wasn't real hungry, so I just had a shrimp cocktail. My friend had the duck. The shrimp cocktail was delicious, the cocktail sauce, a bit spicy. Had too much pepper for me. When I mentioned that to the waiter, he told me it was not spicy. He said it only had pepper in it. I said well after I mixed it was a little better. I don't think a waiter should contradict what a customer says if there is a problem; he should help to alleviate the issue. Obviously, somebody didn't stir the cocktail sauce well, still the pepper was a bit heavy. What's troubling is I specifically asked the waiter if the sauce would be hot , as in spicy. My friend said the duck was very nice. As I recall, they served some complementary bread and it was good. I hope to go back to Palm Heights, where this restaurant is located, and I am sure to go back to Tillies.

Hands down the best meal we were able to enjoy on our most recent visit to Grand Cayman…read more Unbelievable ambience and lighting with food to match. We were a larger party of 11 and got a prime spot on the beach literally 10 feet from the softly lapping sea water. Our server had the sense to get the kids orders in and served to ensure a delightful experience for the adults. Make sure to peruse the specialty drink menu that can be crafted with our without alcohol. Our food choices roamed the entire menu and everyone loved their meals so feel free to take a suggestion or go your own route. I had a perfectly cooked burger that left me stuffed and satisfied. Expect resort pricing but trust me that the memorable meal you eat will substantiate the price. Truly a one-of-a-kind meal that you'll remember for years to come.

The decor is classic 50s roadside diner with old license plates on the wall, an old pickup truck outside and a TV on ESPN by my table. The menu is classic Americana / diner fare with a southern touch. I'd been on an empty stomach through my 3 hour drive and meetings, so by the time I sat down to eat, I almost would have even eaten the paper the menu was written on :) Since it was a little bit on the chilly side, I started with their hearty cup of baked potato soup, deliciously loaded with cheese & bacon bits in a stew. Their warm, buttery and fluffy rolls topped with cinnamon butter were worth every single gram of carbs and almost functioned as a dessert themselves. Then came my yummy main dish, a roasted half chicken with just the right amount of skin and garnished with a smoky barbecue sauce. It was a sizable bird, taking up a nice bit of plate real estate, though leaving just enough room for a warm and topped with butter sweet potato. Needless to say, I still had room for dessert, and enjoyed their Keylime pie. Mal, my waitress, was very pleasant and I didn't have to wait for soda refills. Plating was also on time. I noticed they also had a Valentine's Day local special. It seems like this is a happening place in Sebring and I'd stop by next time I'm in the area.

You are now reading a review by the nationally renowned 5G Guru! Yup, that's me! Why me? In 1986 I…read morewas chowing down almost weekly at the very first 5G in Northern VA! I knew the father and his four sons by their first names, and they knew mine. Moving on, I have eaten at 5Gs in way over twenty states for a total of dozens and dozens if not hundreds of meals. This review is all about the often-ignored hotdog. So, what do you need to know about this bad boy? 1. It's all beef and made by Hebrew National. The dog is Kosher, but the meal is not because it is grilled on the same grill as bacon and other stuff. Bottom line, they start with a great dog. 2. The dog is split lengthwise before it is grilled. Because of this it needs a slighter bigger bun. More about this later. 3. All the burger toppings are available for the dog. Pro Tip #1- If you are insane, you can order cheese on your dog here. If you do, they will use a Kraft Single! Crazy right! I would rather have a root canal with no pain meds than do that! Pricing- 5Gs is infamous for being spendy! I call it the "Gasp!" factor. I ordered a dog, small Cajun Fries and a small drink and it set me back $14.49. This is much better than a burger meal so the gasping is much less. Presentation- You know the deal. The dog is wrapped in foil and at the bottom of a brown paper bag. On top are about a bazillion delicious fries. Pro Tip #2- Many folks think the fries should be crisper. Just ask and they will be happy to accommodate you and make them extra crispy! Unwrap the foil and you'll immediately see what I mean about the slighter bigger bun. I don't normally cut my dog in half but I did for this review so you can see a cross-section of the split dog. Taste- This is one seriously good dog! You get a nice snap when you bite into it. You can really taste the beef and it is very nicely grilled and caramelized. Among the big chains, most reviews place this dog in the top 3 and sometimes #1 in the country! I would agree. To me, a dog, fries and a drink here is a five star meal!
