arrived at the drive through at 4:56 p.m. and was asked to wait a "hot minute." I was the only one in the dive through lane when I decided to pull up to the window. This was after The 5 guests in front of me were served and I was the only car in motion in the parking lot. Guy took a look at me and asked what he could get me like he didn't totally forget I was there. I asked for the happy hour since I've been waiting. He told me no and there was nothing he could do. Furious, I asked for his name and gave him a thumbs up. I think he expected me to pay double for his mistake? This is the best Sonic I've ever been in honestly. It was clean and had indoor seating which is different. Upon walking in, there were 3 or 4 staff that were all quite busy. Despite being busy we were immediately greeted and told someone would be with us shortly. After a few minutes went by, an employee told us "let me just finish this one thing and I'll be right with you". They were so friendly, food was good and order was correct. After we had eaten, a staff member came by and was apologizing that we had to wait a little while. He said he had an employee scheduled to come in and was going to be an hour later. But seriously how nice of him to come and explain and apologize and at a fast food place no less. read more

Stopped by the other day, ordered two foot long chilli cheese dogs, one with onions. They were not bad. Sonic where we used to live had a monthly hot dog day where they were 50 cents each. The store really got into hot dogs on those days. Sonic is a Dependable place for chilli cheese dogs and tater tots. Nice to have every so often!! read more

Sebring Sonic is not a "franchise" location so evidently the advertised offer posted on the Sonic Facebook page doesn't apply to them ?? Really ??? Their Facebook page shows a Tuesday special offering "50 percent off their cheeseburger after 5 pm when ordered online or through the app". We were told the discount would come off after we submitted the order, however it didn't. When we questioned them about it they then said the offer was posted by a 3rd party and since they weren't a franchise store so they weren't part of the promotion and they couldn't refund us the difference . So basically they chose to further irritate a customer by not refunding what was due us . We were compensated 2 coupons for a cherry limeade - good deal- if that's what we liked or wanted . The icing on the cake was we ordered bacon on the burgers but they didn't come with the bacon- gee whiz guys !!! We also had to get up 3 different times to request more packages of ketchup - evidently they are limited to how many packages they can give out ??? If times are that tough maybe they should be a franchise! And you really know they are a 3rd rate company when they delete your post on Facebook and make no attempt to contact and make things right . Wow! What's going on? Poor customer service. No one is answering the red stall button and I made a phone call with no answer. I used online app to place order since no one answered my stall call button. Waited over 30 mins and no one came to my car. I had to go inside to find out what's wrong. No apologies and my food was cold and fries were to salty to eat. I guess good workers are hard to find these days. read more

Garbage!! We've been wait 20 minutes for 2 sodas. Service is terrible! We pressed the button and the lady said in a minute but it's been 20. Absolutely ridiculous! The place is falling apart, signs are all busted and none of the screens are working. Terrible. I've seen closed down Sonic's that look better than this one. I have a huge confession to make! Up until today I was a Sonic virgin! Yup, I have eaten at thousands of restaurants in all fifty states and had never experienced a Sonic. Stay tuned for the salacious story of my loss of innocence. These folks had just opened near me, so I headed over for lunch. The place was jumping with cars everywhere. Being a virgin, I was a little nervous especially in broad daylight, but I headed into the dining room. It was very busy and very clean which was a good thing. The Menu Boards were ridiculous. Even from the front of the line the font used is so small that no one can read them, and I heard lots of complaints about it. I ordered a Double Cheeseburger Combo with Tots. Being a virgin a had no choice but to order the CHERRY Limeade. The tab was a little over $9. I was given a number and ambled over to my table. My hormones were raging! A brown bag was quickly delivered to my table and I was trembling with anticipation. I pulled out my cheeseburger and there was a big sticker on the paper that said, "No Cheese!" What the $&%#! It was kind of like thinking you were going out with Tiffany and ending up with Bertha! Not good! So my CHERRY limeade was just fine. My Tots were barely warm but still tasty. But oh, my poor burger. I was anticipating HOT & JUICY but what I got was barely warm with pale slabs of meat and sad veggies. It was definitely a Bertha burger. It was edible, but I could have had better just about anywhere. So tomorrow, all my friends are going to ask me about my loss of innocence and I'm going to spin all these lies about Tiffany and never mention Bertha. I have stopped at this location many times while driving through. While I have never had a stellar experience, this last time was absolutely the worst. And it will absolutely be the last time. I placed an order on the App at the stall. I sat there for 15 minutes. I realized that I had not seen a single employee delivering food to any of the other cars either. I pressed the call button 3 times with no response. I finally decided to go in to get my food. Although, since I hadn't seen anyone's orders being delivered and no one answered the calls, I wondered if they were being held up. I saw an employee at the drive thru though, so I went on in. BTW, the drive thru line went around the building at this point. There was a handful of other extremely angry customers inside, so I was not the only one. Although, at this point, I was not extremely angry. Just upset since I wanted to get back on the road. I waited to for 10 mins to even be acknowledged, then the girl came up to the counter and said, "What is it that you need?" She sounded frustrated, yet was just floating around not actually doing anything. While standing there, I had more than enough time to observe. The staff does not wear gloves when handling food. I only saw one kid with gloves. I saw this one kid tip over a bag accidentally and he then grabbed the chicken bits that fell out, with his bare hands, and put them back in the bag. Luckily, I didn't order popcorn chicken. The health department would have a field day in there. I received my order 42 minutes after ordering. I left right away, since I had already messed up my schedule. I ordered a patty melt & onion rings. When I opened the bag, I got a chicken sandwich & tots. I had already lost my appetite anyway. Went though drive thru with no problems, had the country fried steak sandwich meal with tots. It was very moist & juicy, I thought actually it was under cooked a bit because there was pink in the middle but I never got sick so that's a thumbs up. Tots were good & I enjoy their crunchy ice. The last few times I went here it was horrible. Would always wait at least 20 mins and get handed cold food or food that seems like it was sitting and now hard as a rock. (Mainly the chicken) I was also served what seemed like nothing but the flavored syrup as my drink. Also this place was never very busy when I ordered. Definitely going down hill. read more

Crazy bad experience! I ordered my meal thru the APP at 12:15p and arrived at pickup stall 5 minutes later. At 12:36p a food worker came out to my car with the wrong meal, and apologize said she would be back with my meal. 12:45p I'm still sitting in my car no meal no service. 12:46 I called Sonic to remind them I'm still waiting- no answer. 12:47 I walked to Sonic's door- all doors are locked and it's the middle of day. 12:48 I called again- no answer. 12:50 Again I called Sonic- the manager answered - I explained I've been waiting over 30 minutes for my food. Manager apologized and said she would make my meal. Never offered any explanation why I had to wait for my meal. 1:05pm I received my meal, without sauces and the burger were made "sloppy and smashed in bag" but I took them because I'm just "done/ over it" with Sonic in Sebring Florida. I'm going to be more generous with my stars because i went in knowing it's fast food. This is only my second Sonic visit and so, I am not an expert. This Sonic offers inside dining, the Sonic in Fort Myers does not. Here, in Sebring, the waitstaff was fabulous. This is such a important aspect to the meal. If you are made to feel welcome, the experience is much much more enjoyable. So, kudos to the lovely ladies who great you and take your order. I ordered a hot dog with tater tots. Tots at tots, but a nice change from fries. The dog was snappy and not laden with salt. If you are a Midwesterner looking for a dog, this place will do you. Mind you, this is not the dog you get in Chicago, but it's the closest you'll get in Florida. Clean tables and floors add to the pluses of this place. Management and staff are top notch. read more

We pulled in and it looked like it was closed. I have never seen a sonic with no cars. We went to the drive through and found they were open so we ordered. Took a few minutes but not too long. We ordered a breakfast burrito and. BLT. Burrito was hot and eggy, good as usual. The BLT however was Texas toast, lettuce , tomato and 2, yes 2 little slices of bacon. I have NEVER had or seen a Sonic BLT that pitiful. Almost or over $5 for such a pitiful cheaply made sandwich. On top of the rip off sandwich my husband used the restroom and he said it was filthy and was covered in mold. He didn't see how the health dept could allow that. Needless to say we will never go back to that Sonic ever again. read more

Food was typical Sonic quality, but multiple items were missing from our order. We had to talk with multiple employees to get what we needed. At one point had to walk in to get their attention, and walked into an employee swearing to the others... not professional at all! The girl who ended up finally getting our missing items was friendly, but the staff inside was not reflective of this. Very poorly managed experience overall. read more

To my personal opinion, Sonic is the most overrated fast food restaurant in the nation. The burgers are whatever and their dogs are decent. The three stars goes to their slushees and shakes/ice cream. Im glad this just opened up on US 27 because I take that road from Miami to visit family in Lakeland. My wife loves their chili cheese tots so she always wants to stop for that and an ocean water. The chili here grosses me out. I actually like their Cheddar Peppers and their Shakes. Its a decent stop for something quick on a long trip. read more

Great place! Me and my girlfriend go here often and know some of the people who work there since they are all so friendly! They are normally really quick with service and everyone knows Sonic's food and blast and amazing! We normally go just for ice cream but their food is great too!Little pricy but not too bad! read more

This Sonic went above and beyond for customer service. Malachi (employee at the counter) took our order. He was very prompt and attentive. We didn't even have to wait for our whole order before they offered us complimentary ice cream cookies for the wait. Assistant manager Kathy apologized for the wait even though we hadn't even waited. The whole staff was amazing from the time we walked though the door! I've never had service this impressive before. You go Kathy and Malachi! read more
