If I'm looking at your nose out, then I probably don't want your sandwich. My wife and I were out for a walk and decided that sandwiches sounded good for dinner. The only sub shop in town is subway and we went there. I can't give a current review of the sandwiches because we walked in, saw the one fellow making sandwiches with his nose out, and decided to turn right around and find something else. Oregon is under a 100% indoor mask mandate due to Covid. Current caseloads in the county have just spiked. Sadly, many people still won't mask where they are supposed to, or like this employee, do it in such a fashion as to be a sad charade of anything that might help someone else not get sick. It's kind of a shame as it smelled really good in there and we were hungry. But frankly, I'm just sick of all the people not doing what they can to protect each other. read more

We were in the area and stopped in for a reliable sandwich to eat when we were driving. Service was quick, friendly and helpful. Our spicy Italian was yummy, and the extras we added, pepper jack cheese and chipotle sauce made it extra yummy spicy. We would return and recommend. read more

Worst customer service of any Subway on the Coast. Seven people in line in front of me and two employees leave the premises, leaving a young kid and an older gentleman behind to deal with customers, neither of whom could multi-task. The line took 17 minutes. Plus another 12 to make the sandwich. I won't be back. read more

This is super close to the house I stay at when I am in Waldport so when I am too lazy to make food and want something simple and fast, I stop here. I personally am a huge fan of Subway sandwiches so I mean, I am pretty easy to please. I go here often around 12/lunchtime and it's still never *too* busy to be irritating or make it not worth it. Since I am only in Waldport a couple times each year, I think I have never had the same workers there twice, but I have never had a bad experience during any of my visits. There's also always been enough room for me to sit and eat if that's what I decide to do, I've never actually seen it packed. read more

Went to subway here in waldport this afternoon about 3:15. We walked in there was 1 couple sitting and eating another paying for his sandwich and my husband and I. The middle age man behind the counter looked at us and with a definite additude said to the young lady in the back " I've got a line again" she came out to help us she was definitely not too happy to be there either. . Neither of them ever smiled or spoke in a friendly way as you would expect to get. The man was certainly unfriendlt... more like put out because we were there. Almost but not quite rude. We got our sandwiches and told them thank you and have a good day and the only reply was a gruff yea. Well I like Subway for a quick inexpensive sammie that taste pretty good but come on if you hate your job so much go somewhere else you like in this area the businesses are definitely looking for employees. A felt sorry for the dear sweet old man that made my online order. The salad had NO lettuce. The dressing had been applied. The salad had been shaken inside the container. When we went in here. The service is horrible. The lady helping us, acted like she didnt want to. They were out of a lot of their food products. Like what food place dont prep ahead for the day?? I did an internet order using the subway app, the app told us they were in the process of making it, then said the order was done. I showed up at the subway to pick up my order and they hadn't started it yet because they forgot. They also made the sandwiches wrong. Ive been told by co-worker how management gets upset if they put too much condiments on sandwiches. I go again and must be true! I ordered a chicken bacon ranch. Ok, maybe I'm an idiot, but I always believe in giving second chances but this place doesn't deserve another. I ate at this place again tonight. I ordered a tuna sub. I watched as the young fellow behind the counter was only able to get 2 tiny scoops of tuna out of the container. He was waiting for a moment like he was pondering getting some more from wherever they keep it stored. Instead he spread the little bit of what he had so thinly on my footlong you couldn't even see it on the sandwich. Then he covered it with green tomatoes. it's the only time I've ever taken a picture of my meal because it was so bad. Wish there was a way to post it here.
