We were just here a few weeks ago and I am so bummed to see they permanently closed!! We came during lunch and took advantage of their weekday lunch combo (Tues-Fri, 11am-2pm), which includes soup and a half grilled cheese. You can choose from the OG, Kick in the Cheese, or Fancy grilled cheese, plus either tomato basil bisque or the soup of the day. Honestly? A dream setup. I ordered the tomato basil bisque with a half OG grilled cheese, and wow... just wow. The soup was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the grilled cheese delivered that classic, beautiful cheese pull moment you hope for (and rarely actually get). The cheese had the perfect amount of sharpness and subtle bitterness, balancing everything out so well without being overwhelming.. I seriously could go for one right now! Every bite was comforting and delicious, and I immediately wished I had ordered a full OG sandwich because it was that good. The combo was mouth‑watering, satisfying, and wildly exceeded expectations for a quick lunch stop.

We ordered Grilled Cheese of the Month Quesabirria and it was fantastic I would say it just needed more Consomé. We also ordered their Cuban sandwich and it was really good! You can order ahead on the app which is great for efficiency when on the road. That all being said, we were driving north to the Twin Cities and around lunch time decided to stop at Jimmy Johns along the way. We used their app to find this location, placed an order and routed ourselves their way. The worst thing about this Jimmy John's location is how hard it is to find, park, and get inside. It's in a shopping center, but the way you are routed there via maps is a bit ridiculous. It took us a good while to just find the place so I hope they work on wayfinding for folks that aren't familiar with the shopping center its located in. Aside from that it's a fairly standard Jimmy John's. Our order was not freaky fast, which was also a bit disappointing since we'd ordered ahead, but we got our sandwiches and got on our way. Overall, I'd probably return if passing through, but if I saw something more appealing I wouldn't choose this location for efficiency.

My first was going through the drive through where I…read morecompletely screwed up my order because I wasn't familiar with the sandwich sizes or the ordering process. This was through no fault on the store's part. Today I ordered Potbelly through Foodsby. I ordered the "A Wreck" and loaded it up. The basics are salami, Angus roast beef, oven roasted turkey, hickory smoked ham with melted Swiss cheese. I made it big, doubled the meat, and added mayo, mustard, hot peppers, lettuce, onion, tomato, and Italian seasoning. I can only assume my sandwich originated at the Jordan Creek location (6305 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines, IA 50266). Because I used a delivery service I can't speak on any experience in-store. The sandwich... Might as well just call it like I see it. It was a mess. Once again this is through no fault of the store. It's just what happens when you load something up with a bunch of crap and then get it delivered...or to go. This didn't impact the taste at all though. I just grabbed some extra paper towels from the break area and waded in. The bread was fresh and the sandwich was still warm from being toasted. I like the chewiness of the bread. It's not prone to getting too soggy or falling apart. The meat had really good flavor and I probably didn't need to double it up...but that's never a bad call. It's like saying there's too much bacon... Really? smh You can never have too much meat. Would I recommend Potbelly? Yes. I'm glad I gave Potbelly another chance. Yes...they're a franchise. Eat local...yada, yada, yada. That being said... The sandwich was really good...probably one of the better "warmed" subs I've had recently. And when ordered properly it's pretty filling too.

I wasn't expecting anything to come of it, but the next day a manager named Sydney reached out to personally apologize and invited us back to give them another chance. I'm so glad we did. Our second visit was a completely different experience. The service was excellent, everything felt much more organized, and it was clear that Sydney genuinely cares about her customers and making things right. If it hadn't been for her reaching out, I never would have returned. Mistakes happen, but what really matters is how a business responds. Sydney turned a negative experience into a positive one, and because of her, we'll definitely be back. Thank you for showing that customer service still matters!

It tasted corn syrup, however, the meat was really tender, and the ranch was pretty darn good too. When the Pizza got there, it looked fantastic. However, I don't think I've ever had worse Pizza in my life, which is insane because I've eaten frozen pizza for a long time, and Pizza all over the place from big joints. The pizza looked fantastic and the texture was amazing, but it had literally no flavor except for oil, and a neutral oil at that, not even a tasty one like olive oil. I cannot stress how intense the lack of flavor was. I couldn't actually comprehend how something could be so completely flavorless. The service was great, my waiter was really nice and attentive, and a cool guy. The place also was comfortable, and I liked the lighting and set up. I would never recommend this place, because a pizza place should have pizza that tastes like something and preferably tastes good at that. Picture attached; it looks fantastic! But again, it tastes like literally nothing.
