This Subway is in the opposite corner of the plaza from the Publix grocery store, and my be my new goto pickup spot for subs as I can get there and back with zero traffic lights. Subway's are pretty consistent and this one is every bit as good as the one I go to in Avalon Park. I can order via the app, drive there and pick up my subs and be home pretty quickly. I live out of town and have come to this subway twice in a week. Each time I have ordered a sandwich and asked for a courtesy cup of water. The first time they told me that the water machine was broke. Today they told me that they didn't have any cups, but if I wanted to purchase a regular cup for two dollars then I could get a courtesy cup of water. I am not sure if a restaurant must provide water or not, but when it is 100° outside and you are a paying customer. It is not very nice that in a seven day period. They are unable to offer a cup of courtesy water to a paying customer. There is a Jersey Mike's just down the street. I may not choose to frequent subway anymore. read more

So, I guess way to describe Subway is that it's Subway. What I mean by this is that Subway has a consistency at each of their locations and for the most part we know what we are getting when we go into a Subway. If that is good or bad, I will leave that up to each one of you to answer for yourself individually. This particular location is on East Colonial Drive in the Publix Shopping Center right by the road that will take you to Chuluota, Florida. While this strip ball has multiple food options, including a Chinese restaurant, Pizzeria, Zaxby's and a few others, if you want a sandwich, Subway is the only game in town, or at least for a few miles. Well I personally do not hate Subway oh, I think there are far better options to choose from if you want a sub. Personally, I would go into the Publix supermarket and get a sub from there. Just as an aside, I think Publix makes one of the finest subs in Florida. However, if you are pressed for time, head-on into Subway. You know what you will be getting. I live in tampa and was in O town as work brought me around, wanted something quick so stopped in here not having high hopes but wow!! This location actually very good compared to many others and believe me I been around the block from NYC to CA to TN , airports etc etc.. this one just wow.. staff is up beat and I think the manager maybe the owner training someone on register, regardless.. the place is actually clean and service is superb! Power to small business owner for keeping up with this gem. If its a manager or the owner that helped the young gentleman to check me out, you seem to take pride in the upkeep of your location, i know you probably don't get enough praise but you are doing it with passion and it shows. Amazing that how you can sum up this magnificent cuisine I just ate. I got a simple sandwich chips and a drink and it was so good. The service was impeccable the staff were very nice. The atmosphere was great 6 cool looking signs and some cool LED subway sign and the staff were cleaning as soon as we got in there so that's a plus. Subway is my fast semi healthy food choice. Since my favorite sub is only 5$ (Spicy Italian) i stopped in for a quick lunch. The staff was almost too up beat Lol but attentive and the service was quick regardless of being pretty busy. I've seen some pretty messy Subways but this location was well kept and clean. Overall good experience will return and would recommend. Update: Strayed away from old faithful (spicy Italian on wheat flat) and tried a new wrap the turkey bacon ranch on a tomato basil wrap. I had a coupon for a dollar off but it seems a lil pricy at 6.99$. It's a decent size of course you can pick your toppings it comes with turkey, bacon, quac, lettuce, tomato, ranch, shredded cheese and onion. I added banana peppers and pickles. I gotta say it was pretty good maybe ill take a shot at the other flavors when I need a change a pace from the spicy Italian. The staff was pleasant and service was quick and clean. read more

On April 30th, 2021 I went to Subway located at 16889 E. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL 32820. When I entered someone called from the back they would be right with me. I was shocked that the employee was not wearing a mask & asked her to please put her face mask on. Her response was after I put my gloves on! I should have just walked out then. I did email the District Supervisor Jill LaPerre. She said that this would not be tolerated & would address this with the employee. Bad choice to return on May 13th, 2021 (same employee) & ordered a 6" tuna sub. I got home & just after taking 2 bites I got a mouthful of hair! Once again I emailed Ms. LaPerre asking if it was not required to wear hairnets in Subway! I also paid with a $20 bill & my total came to $6.58. The employee gave me .42 cents back in change & had the other $13. In her hand. I had to ask her for the $13. dollars she had in her other hand. Her response was it had been a long day! I will never go to any Subway ever again after this experience. I also never got a response to my second email to the District Supervisor Jill LaPerre. Poor Customer Service! read more
